About: We lost our last little guy in February 2024. It’s the first time in 35+ years without at least one dog under the same roof, and it’s felt like something essential is missing. I have such a love for dogs, and would love to pass that on to yours while you have to be away from them. That’s my main reason for being a Rover Sitter. I’m semi-retired and work from home, so your dog(s) will get my full attention. Your dog(s) will get care, love, playtime and exercise. Outside, they'll be supervised, whether they’re just roaming, playing or doing their business. I myself love to walk, and welcome having your dog as my walking buddy. Inside, they'll get a lot of attention and affection whether playing ball, or just chilling out. If you've got a senior, I am very experienced in that care, whether simple TLC, boosts when standing, meds, multiple bathroom breaks, etc. Our dogs were allowed on the furniture, and slept on the bed with us; I respect and will follow your rules for that, though. For those who like to sleep in their own "den," I have a lot of experience with crate training also. I'm happy to do a meet-and-greet before the first visit to make sure everybody's comfortable -- both canine and human. Photos and updates are happily available while you're away. I work from home, and have a very flexible schedule throughout the day. I can sit with your dog(s) any day of the week and/or weekend. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.

About: We have had horses, cows, chickens, goats, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, you name it. I am very good at communicating with them and making them feel at home. I am a nursing student in need of a good paying job with a flexible schedule. This opportunity seemed perfect to me especially since outside of class I don’t get to interact with animals a lot! My home is very safe. Our fields have fences around them and I would keep your fur babies on leashes if they need to be!

About: I grew up with 3 dogs and 4 cats. All rescues, all crazy in their own ways. I've been pet sitting about half my life now. I've saved dogs from coyotes and have helped cats with asthma. I've walked Great Danes in the valleys of Los Angeles and walked cute chihuahuas in North Carolina. I've assisted with Wolfdog care and encountered mountain lions in California. I've been exposed to many 4 legged creatures and respect them all the same. I currently have a pitbull mastiff and she's the sweetest thing. Except when she sees a groundhog. She's about 80 lbs. I still pick her up all the time to get her onto my bed or just to hold for a second. I know doggy CPR and am a 1st responder. If your dog needs to burn energy or lose a few pounds im your person. I can train the basics and some tricks here and there. I'm pretty good with navigating activities for your dog and looking out for any signs of distress or sickness. I have a pretty open schedule and can be flexible as well. My dog will never be exposed to yours regardless of how friendly your dog may seem. My yard is open, so I always walk pets on a leash. In a client's home, I just abide by what the owner states. I don't go against wishes because it takes 1 time to make a mistake. In my own home I usually let dogs have free roam unless advised otherwise.

About: Hi friends! I am an energetic person who LOVES the outdoors and basically any kind of animal. I am blessed enough to be able to work for my husband for his concrete business so I am home (mostly) all day every day! I have 3 dogs myself; a Border Collie, GSP, and a mixed breed (half Great Pyrenees, half Australian Shepherd). They are my babies. I live on 19 acres that is all fenced but 18 of those acres are occupied for our 13 goats and 3 llamas! No worries though, we have a huge fenced in area directly beside/where our house sits just for dogs! We also have a doggie door from inside, leading to the outdoor area, so your dog will definitely get the exercise and outdoor time they deserve, as well as coming and going as they please! :) I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies! Monday-Thursday with some weekends! We travel a lot over the weekends in the summer so weekends are limited but I will keep my weekend schedule updated We have a doggie door leading to the fenced in area for our dogs so they are able to come and go as they please. If you aren’t comfortable with the doggie door, I will make sure your pet does not use it and I will take them out for breaks frequently!

About: I have had dogs in my life since I was 3 years old and have always had a passion and love for them. I currently have 15 dogs myself (5 are rescue/fosters). I previously worked for an animal rescue that has had all types of dogs (and other animals) including small & large breed dogs, special needs (seizures, diabetes, amputees), escape artists, etc. I'm also a certified Positive-Reinforcement Dog Trainer through Catch! Dog Training Academy. I would love to meet you and your dog and help with any of your needs! Walks, Drop in Visits, Watching them while you're away on vacation. I know how wonderful it is to have peace of mind while you're away from your babies and they will always be safe with me! :) I'm a small business owner (Dog Collars, Leashes, Etc.) with a very flexible schedule to easily fit you and your pet's needs. I can be available on most days or times as needed. I want to provide all pets with the love & care that they require. About: I love all animals and love giving them the care and attention you do! If your dog is up for it, I'll take them for a run or to the dog park near my house. Getting outside and running around are very important if your dog is able. As are snuggles, of course. I have a flexible schedule and am happy to do whatever your pup needs. I have a year old Aussie-Hound mix pup also and she loves to play with other dogs. She will be with me most of the time and is a great partner for old or young dogs. I think communication is key, especially in watching your pet! To ensure trust and allow you to rest easy, I'm happy to text and send photos throughout my time with your sweet animal! I feel that it's an honor to be trusted with your pet. I work full time but have flexibility in my schedule to be home with your pets, take them on walks or hikes, play, feed, and snuggle, of course. I live on a private spacious farm with lots of rooms for dogs to run and play. My pup loves other dogs too. Your pets safety and care is the upmost importance!

About: I have trained puppies, love taking fur babies on hikes, and have cared for people’s pets off an on my entire life. I am also in the process of training a kitten and traveling. I am familiar with livestock such as chickens, pigs, and goats. I am currently traveling the country living a nomad lifestyle, I have an open agenda which means plenty of time to provide excellent car for your furry loved ones. I provide ample love and attention, ensure proper exercise/play time, and maintain their current schedules. I routinely supply you (the pet parent) with updates as well as photos and videos of your furry friends living their best life while you also live yours.

About: I have taken care of animals all my life, from my own to even cleaning horse stalls. Have experience owning chickens too! Our pets need love and attention just like we do! I will talk to your loved ones, play, walk and feed them. I work from home during the day, if your pet would like to hang out in my office during the day, I do short walks on my breaks. I am also available to stop by in the evenings for walks and feedings. Weekends I’m usually always available, let me know what you need and we can see what works for both of us, to make sure your loved one gets the very best care. I can stop by for visits, take your dog on walks, send daily pictures and updates. If you need me to come by a few times a day, I am available for that as well.

About: I've been house & pet sitting for many years. I'm very mature, responsible, and dependable. You can count on me. I love animals but don't have any pets because of my traveling lifestyle, so I love getting to bond with little cuties all over. I am a dance/movement teacher as well as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (a body-based trauma therapy). I work from home on zoom these days, so I am around a lot to give love to your pet. Some of my loves (besides animals) are dancing, traveling, photography, art projects, hiking, being in nature, and fixing up Scooby (my Honda Element that I've turned into a "Hotelement"). I've traveled all over the world until COVID hit, but since then have traveled across the country twice and am so appreciating the beauty of my own country. I am vaccinated and am very careful about COVID as well, so know if I'm in your home, I will be taking good care. I'm happy to take care of your pet in any way you need. The thing I have the hardest time with is saying goodbye to the little ones when it's time to go! I work for myself part-time on zoom (so I'm home a lot), so I set my own hours. This way I can work around the needs of your pet. I love cuddling and playing with pets. If it's allowed, I love having them up on the couch with me when I watch a movie, and don't mind them sleeping in my bed at night.

About: Growing up, my mom took in just about everything from scaled and slithering to four legged and prancing. I walked our dogs as well as dogs in my neighborhood for a little extra cash as a kid. I work a very open schedule, 7-8 AM leaving 8:30AM - 1:15PM open for me to hang out with your furry friends M-F or after 8 PM for their last walk of the night. Weekends are completely flexible! My dog and I go on three walks a day, so I know the neighborhood pretty, I make sure my furry friends always walk by the grass when we walk and walk in the direction of traffic so we see the cars coming. Your pets will always be on a leash when they’re with me!
