4. Elizabeth B.
About: I have been Petsitting and house sitting for friends and family for more than 25 years, so I figured, why not make new friends and continue the tradition? It’s one of my greatest joys in life, getting to know and play with new puppers and their people!! I’ve cared for many types and breeds of dogs, cats, and exotic animals (snakes, tortoises, lizards, turtles, tarantulas, exotic fish, chickens, etc.) and all types of pet personalities - shy, rambunctious, skittish, lazy, grouchy, energetic, and everything in-between. From trained purebreds to rescues who have been abused or neglected and need special attention, I have worked with and enjoyed them all. I’ve administered meds, cared for sick pups and kitties, and taken my charges to the vet when needed. I could be trained to care for your pigs, goats, sheep, horses, etc. I travel a good deal and understand the importance of being able to have your non-human child well looked after and not have to worry about them while you’re out of town, or even if you’re just at work. I work remotely, so your pet gets potty breaks often, and they have a human around almost all the time. We go for small walks around a delightful neighborhood when desired, or longer walks/hikes on nearby trails if the bigger pups are game. There are no off-limits areas in our house- my pug Napoleon slept *under the covers* in the big bed he believed he owned - but if you have different rules, they will be enforced as dictated. Any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! I am excited to meet you - and your human friends ;)! Working remotely from my home office provides plenty of opportunity for potty breaks and puppy love in-between client interactions on the phone. It also allows me to stay full-time in your home with your pets if overnight sits are your preference. All that is needed is a strong internet connection and a comfortable, quiet place in your home to work. I have a gated yard in the front but can take little pups on-leash if there’s any concern. There’s also a small potty area in the back yard with a full fence for off-leash outside time. I can accommodate a small crate in my home, if desired. For overnights in your home, an initial meet-n-greet will be required prior to the first engagement to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety.
5. Kristi M.
“My dog Tallulah LOVES Kristi, and so do I! Kristi is kind, considerate, and so easy to work with. She communicates clearly & effectively, and I sleep a little easier knowing that my fur baby is in good hands with Kristi.”
6. Johnny C.
“If you want your dogs to get lot of loving attention and possibly spoiled, Johnny is the guy. We always call him to take care of our 2 dogs and cat when we go out of town. The “girls” love him. We don’t worry they are taken care of and he’s been known send video and picture updates. Johnny’s a great and we trust him with our fur family.”
7. Cynthia R.
“Cynthia was great! She followed my lengthy, anxious-pet-parent instructions, and she found the sweet side of my barky Schnauzer. She hung out with my two dogs, played with them, cuddled, and made sure doggie business was taken care of. With me, Cynthia was friendly and professional. 5 stars for sure, and I hope to ask her to care for my babies again in the future. Highly recommend!”
8. Kaylee C.
“Kaylee took great care of our animals. She communicated so much and sent lots of photos. Her level of attention certainly reassured me about the state of our animals while we were gone. I will definitely hire her again!”
9. Madison T.
“She’s AMAZING!!! Madison not only took amazing care of my cats but she also took care of my house and brought packages in! 100% would book again!!!”
10. Betsy R.
“We have a 16 year old Maine Coon cat who has gastrointestinal problems. She requires feeding small amounts every two hours and has a tendency to be very withdrawn, especially since she lost her son recently due to kidney failure. Betsy stayed at our house for 4 days and did a wonderful job getting our cat to eat and giving her attention so she didn’t feel lonely. The eating combined with the gastrointestinal problems could have overwhelmed other sitters, but Betsy handled it with patience and perseverance. We will definitely use her again.”
11. Katie O.
“Katie is absolutely wonderful and the dogs love her❤️ She is the sweetest. I’m so grateful I found her to help me out with my babies during a difficult time.”
12. Rosaria B.
“So happy Rosaria was available for my last minute booking. I will definitely be using her in the future she’s so kind and sweet to my dogs they loved their time with her. She went above and beyond letting them play out all their energy.”
13. Becca C.
“Friendly and cares for your pet.”
14. Wesley P.
“Altruistic took great care of my dog Dagny. He took her in while I was out of town for 5 days and ensured she was walked, played with, and comfortable. He made sure she had her medication on time and adhered to her special dietary restrictions (and even cooked for her). 10/10 would trust to watch my dog again.”
15. Jess R.
“Jess cared for our dogs like they were hers. We got several updates and pictures throughout their stay. Will definetly be contacting Jess the next time we come to Asheville.”
16. Tammy R.
“Tammy is wonderful! Super responsive and flexible even on short notice. She sends pictures and updates with every visit which is a great piece of mind while we’re away!”
17. Nicholas L.
“Nick has taken care of our beloved cat several times, for up to 4 weeks at a time. That requires staying in our house and letting Buster, our cat, in and out as required (by Buster). It also includes making sure our picky cat gets enough to eat. My husband and I totally trust Nick to stay in our house and do whatever is necessary to take care of it also. Nick is totally trustworthy and responsible. In addition, he is a good communicator. At the risk of losing him ourselves, we highly recommend Nick! ps--We know Nick's family--they are all very responsible people.”
18. Stacey B.
“I find it hard to find someone I trust with both my home and furbabies. I absolutely trust Stacey. She was a godsend. We have a dog and two cats, and the elder cat can be challenging. Stacey had him eating out of her hand (figuratively and literally) in no time. On my holiday I felt completely at ease knowing my home and pets were being well taken care of. So well, in fact, that I believe my pets were disappointed when I returned. 100% recommend her!”
19. Stephanie E.
“Stephanie has grown up with animals her entire life, both cats and dogs! She always would make sure they were well taken care of and treated with the same respect you'd give another human! All of the animals she loved with were always considered a part of her family, and she would always do her best in giving them the most optimal care!”
20. Monika S.
“Monika has taken excellent care of dogs and cats since she was a very little girl. And at one time, she took excellent care of my cockatoo. She is experienced, level headed, loves dogs and would make sure they were safe. And she would talk to them and make them feel comfortable with her. Your pets are likely to fall in love with her. Perfect person to take care of your well loved pets.”
