About: Not only have I owned my own dogs but I have been in the pet training business for 15 years. I have even trained service dogs for wounded Veterans. Most of my time is dedicated to training service dogs so I am pretty flexible with my time and can walk and care for your pets. I would care for clients pets as if they were my own with love and great attention to their needs. Examples include make sure they are in a safe environment, feed, watered, give medication if needed, walked, loved and happy.

“Eleanor was amazing with my cat, Kitty! I boarded her for 6 nights...and Kitty was not the easiest. Everything from her automatic feeder breaking and Eleanor having to feed her 4 times a day, to hissing and temperamental cat things and Eleanor handling it great. I am a very protective cat mom and felt confident that Kitty was safe and taken care of the entire time she was there. When I went to pick her up, she was calm and adjusted right back to home life without being stressed at all - a sign that her stay was great. Thanks Eleanor!”

About: My wife and I have had paws in our house almost from day 1. Over the years we have had 6 dogs and 7 cats, all of which came on board as puppies or kittens, and they all lived long and happy lives. Currently we have 1 dog and 2 cats. I am now retired, so I have maximum flexibility to schedule sitting/walking times. The biggest competitors for my time are the grandkids, and the lawnmower in the summer and snow shovel in the winter. Our cats are indoor cats with access to a screen porch to satisfy their outdoor desires. We have used the Invisible Fence for our previous larger dogs. The client would set the requirements for care at the pet's home. I also have walking shoes and a leash for doggie exercise. I have not signed up to care for client's animals at our house.

“Kelly was incredible - kept us informed of how our 2 cats were doing every day of our week long vacation, went the extra mile to take care of some plants that needed watering, and learned how each cat responded best to treats, pets, and toys. We will absolutely use Kelly again to watch over our kitties!”

About: In addition to owning cats and dogs my whole life, I work at an emergency vet clinic. I love all animals and can't wait to meet yours :) I work full-time at a veterinary hospital while preparing for veterinary school. On my days off, I am available for drop-in visits as well :) I unfortunately can't take any additional pets into my home, but I love to meet pets at their level. Sitting on the floor with a dog is one of life's true delights.

About: I have a German shepherd who is amazing and also dog reactive so Ive gotten good at walking her and learning how to deal with her reactive behavior I have to take care of my puppy and adding another dog to the schedule isn’t very hard for me to do. I will always make time to hang out and take care of animals I have my dog in my house with me and if there is an issue with my dog not getting along with yours I’m able to keep them separate. I will be around pretty much the whole time while I’m caring for your dog.

About: I have been a dog / cat sitter for my friends, family and neighbors since I was 13. My family had both dogs and cats in the house when I was growing up. I love spending time with animals and getting to know their unique personalities. I especially enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing with them outside to help expend their energy. I currently work from home in a corporate position. I have plenty of free time and would love to spend some of it taking care of animals. Typically, I am staying over at the client’s home for the duration of their trip / vacation. The client will often have me over to their home prior to their departure to meet the animal(s) and go over their needs and any other special requests they may have. It is very important to me that the client feels safe entrusting me to stay in their home and take care of their pets.

“Patricia has been great with both my cats. One needs insulin injections she handles those easily. The other one is very shy and even when Lucy is hiding under the bed she makes sure she gets some love.”

Her life’s work has been in the pet business, having run the dog training programs at several of the national pet care chains, working in the stores helping “pet-parents” with all their pet’s needs. She spent years volunteering at Patriot Paws, training service dogs for wounded veterans with mobility and emotional needs. Even the shy and less approachable ones seek him out!! He has always shared his home with cats and dogs and a few hamsters and Guinea pigs, but he also has been known to train chipmunks to eat peanuts from his hand and calmly hold exotic snakes!! They say animals know who they can trust; they know that Dave is that kind!”

Thomas H.
“Thomas has frequently cared for our four dogs and two cats. He is reliable and consistent. One of my dogs requires medication and I have seen Thomas successfully give her the meds (even when she is tries to be sneaky and spit it out). He just knows animals. My critters love it when he comes over to stay with them. He is firm with the puppy. For example, he doesn't let her jump up, but isn't harsh. Thomas's training at his job and his experiences growing up with animals is evident. They love him and he loves them. I don't hesitate to contact him.”

Sadie S.
“Ever since she was little Sadie has loved dogs and has always been so helpful with taking care of them. She has a lot of patience with animals and knows a lot about taking care of them. She’s reliable and trustworthy and would be a great dog or cat sitter.”

Oliver E.Star Sitter
“Ollie has taken care of our tripawd Aussie, Percy, many times over the past 7 years. Ollie is Percy’s second favorite person in the world (possibly first). Ollie is one of the most loving and responsible humans I know and he will care for your pet like it’s his own ❤️”

Patricia P.

“Patricia has been great with both my cats. One needs insulin injections she handles those easily. The other one is very shy and even when Lucy is hiding under the bed she makes sure she gets some love.”

Hopkins cat parents share their Rover experiences
This is the first time I've left my cats alone where I didn't worry. Amanda's Rover cards were exciting to see and very reassuring. And clearly my Sojue grew to love her. I will definitely be a returning customer. Also, I came home to clean litter boxes, feeding dishes that were clean and obviously lovingly supplied and a small gift! I will absolutely be calling on Amanda again. She clearly looks at pet care as a professional and aims to provide good service.
