“This is our first time to use Rover and our pups head a great time with Ren! Our dogs were rescues during the pandemic and we weren’t sure how things would work, but Ren made it work out wonderfully! Highly recommend Ren.”

“As much as I would like to keep her for exclusively for my guys it would not be fair to Anna. Anna was just great my dogs just loved her, I highly recommend her for watching dogs with special needs as my old guy is on seizure meds 4 times a day. She went above and beyond keeping me informed on both dogs and their well being. I will definitely use her services in the future.”

About: I’m a lifelong pet-lover with years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, ages and energy levels. Though I can’t own a pet right now due to my need to support a family member’s medical condition and I miss having a pet around! I’m excited to pour that love into caring for your furry friends. From energetic walks to cozy cuddle sessions, I look forward to learning the unique personality of your pets and providing the individual care they need. I currently own a successful local small business and our down time is 12-3 daily. I look forward to filling that time with some furry friends. I care for your pet in your home with love and diligence, following your instructions and your routine to keep them comfortable. I ensure safety with secure walks, hazard-free spaces, and constant supervision. I respect your home, keeping it tidy, and stay in contact with you through regular messages and photos.

“I was super nervous since this was my first time leaving our dogs at home and using Rover. Leigh was absolutely amazing! She sent me tons of pictures and updates throughout her stay and did an awesome job taking care of our babies! Definitely will be using her from now on!”

“Karen is a compassionate and intentional sitter. We arranged a meet and greet and we walked her through the house as she took notes and asked questions about everything/anything to care for our pup. She was available on relatively short notice (about a week) and Kona loved her! She gave us informative and sweet updates multiple times a day in the Rover app. She sent pictures of our girl so we knew she was comfortable and having fun. If you're looking for a reliable and responsible sitter to watch your fur babies, look no further. Karen will definitely be utilized for further sits!”

“I am so thankful I found Gabriel!!! I was not worried about my dogs for 1 second on vacation because I felt so confident that he was taking great care of them. When I returned, my dogs were happy and worn out from all their walks, and my house was cleaner than it was when I left! I have already booked Gabriel for another stay!”

“Tammy was lovely and took great care of our 3 dogs and 2 cats while we were away for a long weekend. They were all happy and relaxed when we got home. The house was left impeccable! We absolutely recommend Tammy to take care of your pets, and look forward to booking her again in the future.”

“Gretchen did a fabulous job taking care of our two senior dogs for several days at our home. I’m so glad we found her! She is extremely caring and understood exactly how to handle them. She is a great communicator and kept us up to date with how things were going. She sent us several pictures along the way too! I highly recommend her!”

“This was my first experience with an in-house dog sitter, and I was initially skeptical about having someone stay at my home for an extended period. However, I was pleasantly surprised by Kathleen's excellent service. She kept me updated on the status of my dogs, and they adored her. Additionally, she maintained the house in great condition. I will definitely hire her again when my husband and I go on a long trip. I highly recommend Kathleen for in-home dog sitting.”

About: I have had cared for/raised many types of animals in my life; dogs, cats, aquatic animals, an opposum that I raised from a bottle, hamsters, birds, turtles. I truly love all animals and I am also a bit of a plant whisperer. I recently left my corporate career and I am ready to start my next chapter. I am looking forward to working with my preferred coworker - your pets! I recently retired from a career working in corporate america, so I am available most days/nights. I am single so my time is my own. I like caring for animals in their home environment as that is where they feel safest. I love getting on the floor and playing with your pet and their favorite toy/stuffy. I am also a pretty good frisbee thrower. Water bowls are refreshed and treats are provided (if allowed). I love getting to know all the pet's individual personality.

About: I have owned dogs all my life and have looked after a variety of dogs over 12+ years. I am the dog mom of a Jack Russell Terrier and mini Schnauzer, and have grown up with German Shepherds and poodles in my family as well. I have done volunteer work with rescues and have worked at multiple adoption events promoting puppy adoptions. Experienced in handling breeds from teacup size to giant, as well as dogs of all ages. Also experienced with basic grooming (nails/teeth/baths,etc.). In my free time I enjoy studying dog breeds, genetics and behaviors. Experienced with temperament testing and socialization, as well as obedience and trick training. I do work full-time, so please consider this if you have a young potty training dog or dog with strict medical needs. I will be as transparent as possible if I cannot do certain pickup or drop off times! All dogs will be adjusted to my own dogs’ schedule- walks in the morning, afternoon, and evening and meal times twice per day. I care for client dogs as if they were my own. They get the same opportunities to play, walk, and roam as my own animals do, provided they have a good understanding of boundaries within the home. Safety is priority above everything so I will not hesitate to separate dogs if need be. Dogs will eat away from each other and must be kenneled if there is nobody home to supervise.

“Victoria is a gen! I am so glad we had her stay with our 5 month old miniature dachshund, Mabel and our 5 year old cat, Motzart. Mabel gave her a rough time the first night, but Victoria figured out how to soothe her and finally got her to sleep and no barking or whining. Victoria is a superb house sitter and loves animals. She also left our home in such good condition and she sent us pictures of our babies routinely. I sincerely recommend Victoria to anyone looking for someone who will care for your animals with as much love as you have for them! I hope she will house sit for us again, even after she lost sleep! Thank you Victoria. It was a pleasure having you in our home.”

“Tristen, Was Fantastic! Our previous plans for a house sitter fell through 4 days before we left on vacation and Tristen graciously accepted and came and meet the pups the next day. We have two LARGE dogs and she was great when we introduced them to her. Could tell by her interaction that she knew what she was doing. Might be small but was a huge relief in of itself. She was not intimated and I think the dogs could sense she was not tense which helped them with the introduction. Came everyday to take care of the pups and sent picture updates. Overall would recommend Tristen again!”

“We've used Beth to watch our 5 fur babies (3 big dogs, 2 cats) at our house the last 2 times we have gone out of town. She has been fantastic with communication, keeping us updated and sending pictures on a daily basis. She is always very prompt and proactive regarding appointments and upcoming bookings. In short she is fantastic and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

“Edie is truly a blessing for our family! Our Lab, Stella, is very anxious, so we’ve never boarded her—but with Edie, we never worry. She stays in our home, keeps Stella’s routine just the way she likes it, and gives her all the love, walks, and frisbee time she could want. Stella lights up the moment Edie walks through the door! On top of caring for Stella, Edie is completely trustworthy with our home, watching over the pool, yard, and mail, and always checking in if anything comes up. We can travel with total peace of mind knowing Edie is taking care of both our dog and our home as if they were her own.”

Chloe T.

Highland Village pet parents share their Rover experiences
We recently hired Karen to home sit and care for our two kittens while we were away on a week long trip. Adopting kittens was unplanned and it was stressful leaving them home for a trip that was pre-planned. From the moment we met Karen, we felt completely at ease knowing our home and kitties were in good hands. Karen was reliable, respectful, and kept everything running smoothly while we were away. She communicated with us frequently and sent a few pictures of our kitties while we were away. Most importantly, our kittens were clearly loved and well cared for—they were calm and happy when we returned, which speaks volumes. We highly recommend Karen to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind pet sitter. We will absolutely work with her again!

We lost our dog sitter of many years after we booked a 32 day cruise! Rover and Heather Sherrill were a true leap of faith. Heather justified that faith with her outstanding effort and care—and her thorough documentation of such with dozens of texts, videos and pictures. We have a 3600 sq ft home on two acres with a large pool and two needy pups. One a senior and one a juvenile. Both pups and property were in excellent shape on our return. It is obvious our fur babies lacked nothing in the form of cuddles, play and nutrition, and the house is immaculate. I recommend Heather without hesitation. I will certainly use her again with complete faith our dearly loved four-footed family members will receive the finest of care.

Victoria did a wonderful job dog sitting and house sitting! We are new to the area and our dogs have never been boarded so we were nervous about leaving them. We had a meet before and she made us feel very comfortable leaving them in her care. We received regular updates with pictures and amusing antidotes. I would absolutely recommend Victoria for any of your house sitting and dog sitting needs!

She is outstanding and exceptional caretaker. She is not only an exceptional caretaker but knowledgeable, reliable, efficient and devoted. She is available to work around my schedule and demonstrate enormous love and compassion for my fur babies. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, caring, and knowledgeable person to care for their pet. Her rates are very reasonable, and provides exceptional service. Thank you, Linda, for taking good care of my fur babies ❤️
