About: I've owned and cared for all kinds of animals my whole life. Professionally, I have experience working as a dog handler, kennel attendant, dog bather, and groomer. I also have extensive experience working and caring for cats, horses, and various small animals. My +3 years working at a dog daycare facility had me safely handling a pack of up to 25 dogs; providing exercise & engagement, soft corrections, and positive reinforcement. To do so, it was necessary to be observant and in tune with the dog's behavior and always on the lookout for any signs of stress or aggression. As a bather and groomer, I was focused on hygiene but a large aspect of the job relied on my knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques. I've owned cats my entire life and have worked with a TNR rescue the past few years getting pregnant females and unneutered male cats fixed and adopted. I also have pet care insurance with animal baliee coverage in case of emergencies. I always care for every animal as if they are my own and I understand how important it is for them to feel comfortable and loved. I work part-time on the night shift, so I'm unavailable Monday through Friday between 10pm and 3am. Outside of that- my schedule is flexible. I am also available on most weekends and holidays. I live in a quiet suburban neighborhood with a very large, unfenced yard. I own a variety of animal care supplies and equipment including lunge-line leashes to keep dogs safely on my property.

About: I am careful to heed owners instructions on how to care for their furbaby to create peace of mind and maintain a respectful relationship between the animals and humans. I work Full-time on the weekend. I can accept reservations and check-ins starting by 3PM on Mondays. Pets must be checked-out/picked up by 3PM Saturday. Currently have 2 Siberian huskies to entertain your pooch. Both huskies are well-socialized and engage very well with other canines. House is cleaned and sanitized on the daily to prevent any contagious illnesses. Exercise is done through nature trails in the area. If owners are comfortable with dog parks, I am a member to multiple private dog parks to ensure privacy and freedom to run around from other unauthorized/stranger canines.

“Maani took excellent care of our home and kitties while we were away for a week. She sent pictures almost every day and left our home clean & tidy. Our cats are a little high maintenance (feeding schedule for weight loss, hairballs, medicine, etc.) and Manni took care of it all. She was also very easy to get in touch with. It was a great comfort to know that our cats were on their regular routine while we were away. I will definitely use Maani again in the future!”

About: Not seeing the availability that you need? Send me a message and let's see if we can figure something out. With over 20 years of hands-on experience, I’ve had the joy of caring for dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments—my own pets, fosters, and the beloved companions of friends and family. I’ve also worked in the pet food industry, where I brought my own dogs to work daily, gaining insight into animal nutrition and behavior in a professional setting. I specialize in pets under 100 pounds, especially those with gentle, couch-loving personalities, but I’m always open to meeting a new furry friend who might win me over. I take safety seriously—for both myself and your pet—and I’m happy to follow specific routines, instructions, or preferences to keep everyone comfortable and cared for. Senior pets have a special place in my heart. When I’m not pet sitting, I work full-time in the museum world. Caring for animals allows me to blend my professional life with one of my lifelong passions—making sure pets feel loved, safe, and relaxed while you're away. I’m also comfortable caring for small animals like rabbits, rats, and hedgehogs. Whether your pet needs a calm, reassuring presence or just a buddy to hang out with, I bring patience, kindness, and decades of experience to every visit. I am working full-time, Monday through Friday. I have some flexibility with my schedule which allows me to work remotely on Monday's and Fridays. When I am not working, your pets can expect my full attention. I provide pet care exclusively in my clients’ homes, where pets are most comfortable in their familiar surroundings. I take great care to follow your pet’s routine and respect your home as I would my own—keeping things tidy, secure, and low-stress for both you and your pet. I understand how important trust is when inviting someone into your space, and I always aim to communicate clearly and reliably. I’m happy to provide updates during each visit so you feel confident your pet is safe and well cared for. My focus is always on creating a calm, predictable environment where your pet feels safe, whether that means quiet companionship, structured playtime, or simply keeping their routine intact

“Melissa was great!! Like most I was so anxious to leave my dog while at work all day. She was awesome with my dog and sent pics of him looking so happy and gave him treats. I video chatted with her prior and knew she truly is an animal lover.”

About: I’ve had dogs in my home since i was 10 years old, as well as have taken care of family’s, friends’, and even professor’s pets. I consider myself to be both a cat and a dog person, and love playing with pets or just relaxing with them. I am able to care for pets of all ages and abilities and have experience with everything from puppies to sick cats and visually impaired senior dogs. I am a very active person that loves to be outside and go on walks. I have two dogs myself that I already play with and take for walks, so your pet can fit right in! I have a large yard for your pet to run around and play, and although it is not fenced in there are many long leashes to ensure that your pet feels free while still being secure. Yard has no hazards for your pet and house is located on a quiet street with few cars. There are two sets of stairs in my house that can be blocked off if necessary, as the entry level has more than everything your pet will need. Dogs can be crated if necessary.

At my day job I have the pleasure of working with an emotional support puppy named Aspen. I have also stayed overnight on multiple occasions with 2 Saint Bernard puppies, 1 lab, and one pitbull/ German Shepard all at one time. I love all animals though! I am available evenings and weekends! I will update my availability every Sunday as that is when I receive my schedule. I have reliable transportation I respect everyone’s home, wishes, and rules. About: I’ve always had dogs in my home, from puppies to big German shepards and old animals. I have a nice sized yard for several pets to play in. Dogs who visit always feel at home, with toys to play with and treats to eat and dog beds to lay on. I’m a devoted and obsessive dog lover who would love to meet new dogs and provide care for them when they need it! Brittany K.
“Brittany is an absolute gem. From the moment she met our two dogs, we knew they were in good hands. She’s calm, warm, incredibly attentive, and genuinely understands animal behavior. One of our pups can be shy around new people, but he took to Brittany right away and that never happens. She followed all of our care instructions to the letter, sent thoughtful updates with photos, and even noticed a small issue with one of our dog's paws before it became a problem. When we came home, the dogs were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Brittany treats your pets like they’re her own, and that kind of trust is rare. We wouldn't hesitate to book her again, and we’ve already recommended her to several friends. If you’re looking for someone responsible, kind, and experienced, Brittany is the one.”

Melissa P.

“Melissa was great!! Like most I was so anxious to leave my dog while at work all day. She was awesome with my dog and sent pics of him looking so happy and gave him treats. I video chatted with her prior and knew she truly is an animal lover.”

Natalie P.
“A pet caregiver is the perfect fit for Natalie because animals make her really happy, she’s extremely responsible and trustworthy, and she has a very flexible schedule. Spoiler alert: This is an unbiased testimonial from her mom. We have had a hamster and currently have both a Shitzhu/Yorkshire mix (age 11) and a toy poodle (age 2) who broke his leg and was casted at 6 months old then a major surgery a year after that. She’s given eye drops without fear and has followed specific dietary needs and schedules without wavering for others’ pets. Natalie lights up around any animal. I have full confidence in her abilities. Your pets will be in the best hands.”

Hickory Hills cat parents share their Rover experiences
While this first time we used Patrick for care our our sweet Pittie Chester was brief, Patrick was great! Our meet and great was simple and Chester was comfortable with Patrick from the start. Patrick was great at communicating with me, he made sure Chester was as comfortable as possible with all the 4th of July noise and offered to pick up outside after him. I really appreciated how easy the entire process was even when I had to change plans last minute with him! It is obvious Patrick is great with animals and I will definitely be using him again for care for my very particular fur baby!
