About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 13 years, including my own special needs dog, Jimmy. We adopted him from the Humane Society, and since then, he’s been part of our family. Jimmy has required extra care due to medical and mobility issues, and through him, I’ve learned how to be patient, gentle, and attentive to every pet’s unique needs. I have hands-on experience with: Special needs and senior dogs Administering medications Building trust with shy or anxious pets Providing a calm and loving home environment Your pet will be treated like my own — with love, respect, and plenty of cuddles. Whether you're away for a day or a week, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for like family. I'm home and available most of the day, which allows me to give pets the time, attention, and care they deserve. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feedings, or just quiet companionship, I can easily adapt to your pet’s routine. Since I already care for my own dog and have experience with cats, pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I enjoy being active and love spending time with animals — they truly bring joy to my day! I care for pets in my own home or through drop-in visits — I do not stay overnight in clients’ homes. In my home, pets enjoy a safe, quiet, and loving environment with plenty of attention, walks, and playtime. I keep their routine as close to normal as possible, including feeding times and medications. For drop-in visits, I make sure your pet gets everything they need while you're away — food, fresh water, outdoor breaks, and lots of love. I’m respectful of your space and always follow your care instructions closely.

“Jenna was great! I have a special needs senior kitty who prospered under Jenna's care. Going away has been challenging finding the right person to care for my sweet girl. Jenna is a great communicator and clearly is great with cats. My 2 kitties were content and relaxed when I came home. We will definitely invite Jenna back!”

About: Hi! My name is Amara and I have 4 cats! I have grown up with cats in my household since I was little. I fostered kittens and did pet sitting on Rover from 2018-2020 with my family. I pet sit for family friends and am very excited to be back on Rover getting to know all of your furbabies! I just graduated from high school and will be starting college in the late fall. I am available most of this summer and have blocked the dates I will be away. When I am here I am available all day to fit whatever needs you may have I am a very responsible person, at my house I clean our cats litter and take turns feeding them. I am a very observant person and love spending time with pets, whether that be cuddling or playing fetch!

About: I have a lifetime of experience working with dogs of all breeds and life stages. I've had dog family members all my life. When I was 18 I began dog sitting. For five years I managed two dog daycare and boarding facilities in San Francisco. There, I took care of every breed you could think from 8 wks-17 yrs old. I played with them, took them for walks, fed them, administered medication, and interfaced with the clients. I am very familiar with dog psychology, training, and health. I treat all furry babies as I've treated my own; with empathy, love, and patience. I love nature and have a car, so I would be happy to take your dog child on an outdoor adventure, on or off leash depending on what they are used to and what you are comfortable with. I'm currently working part-time with flexible availability during the week and some weekends. I would be happy to take your dog on a nature or neighborhood walk during the day while you're at work so you come home to a happy pup! I always abide by leash laws and get to know the dog and their personality so I can create a safe, fun environment for them on walks. I will also ask you if they have any special needs to be aware of.

“Kaycee was a great cat/house sitter! I’m a new cat parent to a young kitten and first time Rover user. Kaycee eased all my anxieties by being super attentive and caring to my cat, delivering daily detailed updates (via messages, pictures and videos) and following all cat care instructions. I appreciate both her professionalism and her authentic love for animals. Will definitely be booking again in the future!”

About: I grew up in a home with multiple pets at any given time, from the obedient family hunting dogs (Brittany Spaniels) and the rambunctious and playful golden retriever, to the feisty kitten and the cuddly senior cats, and it was always my duty to care for them. From helping train the puppies to feeding the dogs in the morning and night, to taking them out for potty breaks and long walks or swims, I have been the primary caregiver of many wonderful pets throughout my lifetime. I even studied Wildlife Fish and Conservation Biology at UC Davis because my love of animals was so strong, working with various wild and farm animals as a student as well. I used my love of pets and knowledge of how to care for and respect them to start offering friends and family long and short-term pet sitting and walking services as a side hustle. I have enjoyed the work so much that I decided to come to Rover to find even more pets to care for and clients to help! This is my full-time job, so I am able to be flexible and focus entirely on the pets in my care, meaning I am often available 7 days a week with some flexibility. In general, I only pet sit or walk one household of pets at a time, as I do not find it wise to mix groups unless both their owners request it. For example, this could look like only walking your 2 Labradoodles together, returning them home safely and then going to walk another household's German Shepherd. I offer dog walks ranging from 20 minutes to 1+ hours, 7 days a week, 8am to 9pm. I offer dog and cat sitting in the client's home. I offer in-home cat sitting for 1 household of cats at a time. Safety is always my top priority when caring for pets. In my home, I create a secure, pet-friendly environment: no toxic plants, small objects, or open access to food or cleaning supplies. I keep doors and gates locked, use baby gates when needed, and make sure each pet has their own safe, quiet space to relax. For walks, I always double-check that collars, harnesses, and leashes are secure before heading out. I avoid unsafe areas, keep a close eye on surroundings, and never introduce pets to unfamiliar animals unless approved. For cats, I make sure windows are screened and that they can't access dangerous places like open cabinets or appliances. Whether at my home or yours, I follow your pet’s routine, monitor for any signs of stress or illness, and always keep a pet first-aid kit on hand. I also send regular updates, so you can feel confident your furry friend is in safe, loving hands.

“Thank you so much for everything. You guys were extremely professional and excellent at communication. I’m so happy to have forever pet sitters now. Thank you for everything again, our Luna and Lucky were taken care of greatly!”

Amara C.
“Amara has pet sat for me on several occasions over the past few years. She is dependable, responsible and trustworthy. She follows directions and problem solves when needed all while giving loving attention to my pets. I used to use two other women (one in her 30s the other in her 60s) who where just in and out. Amara spent time with my pets especially brushing, playing and talking with them. She sends pictures and I can tell my pets are relaxed and happy. That’s what you want when you are away from them. I highly recommend Amara. She is top on my list.”

Kianna C.
“Kianna's love for animals is undeniable. She has cared for our senior girl (dog) Maggie for some time now & is professional, loving, reliable & trustworthy. From a weekend away to a two week vacation, I never have to worry about the care that Maggie receives when I'm gone. As a senior, Maggie has special needs (medications) & Kianna follows through with her care, just as I would. She is a terrific person & perfect dogsitter!”
