About: I've had a dog or a cat (often both) in my life ever since I was 10. I love making new furiends, so I'd love to meet yours! My pup (Bailey) has separation anxiety, so I’m very familiar with supporting special needs, giving medication, and training. We alternate between off-leash fun walks and on-leash training walks, so I can adjust to your dog’s needs. I’m also a big fan of playing, especially if your dog needs to get some energy out. I split my time between volunteering at my local library and walking dogs, so my schedule is flexible. I prefer to walk dogs in the morning or early afternoon. I don't sit at my home, but I love getting updates about my pets when I'm away, so you can expect plenty of pictures and videos of your pets!

About: I've been around dogs my entire life with experience ranging from hyper puppies to mellow older dogs. I've become the default care taker for any family members pet and love every second of it. My dog and I love going on walks and playing fetch in the backyard, she even sleeps on my bed which is the cutest thing ever. This is why I know how that special attention and physical activity is for a dog. I am capable of brushing and grooming the dog if they are well behaved. I've managed overnight care for a week while in school and making sure the pets were happy and well cared for. I'm reliable, organized and will always treat your dog as my own. Pet care fits easily into my routine since I have my own vehicle and a flexible part time job. I'm available on weekdays and weekends while always willing to work with your schedule to do what is best for your pets. I make sure that my dog is walked or taken outside every 4 hours. Having explicit instructions on how to care for your pet is appreciated so that I can ensure that the best care is provided. I always check to make sure that gates are closed in the backyard and that whatever environment your dog is in they feel safe and happy.

About: It might sound funny to say I have 26 years of pet care experience, but I’ve truly never known a life without animals. I grew up in a family where dogs and cats were part of the family, not just pets. Over the years, we’ve loved pugs, labs, terrier mixes, a cavapoo with epilepsy, rottweilers, dobermans, a brussels griffon, and an American bulldog. For a time, we even had bearded dragons and rabbits….every animal had a special place in our home! I’ve also had the joy of caring for households with both senior pets and energetic young ones, making sure each one got the attention and care they needed. These days, I live in Northampton with my sweet orange American Shorthair cat, Zora. Caring for animals has always been a part of who I am, and I’d love to bring that same care and love to your pets too. I’m currently a PhD candidate, and during the summer months my schedule is much more flexible, as I’ll mainly be focused on researching and writing my dissertation. I’m truly lucky to have the privilege of being adaptable with my time, which allows me to adjust to the needs of each family I work with When caring for pets, safety and trust are always my top priorities. When I’m visiting a client’s home I create a calm, secure environment where animals can feel comfortable and cared for. I take the time to learn each pet’s individual routines, preferences, and any special needs they might have from medication schedules to favorite toys. I follow the owner’s instructions closely and keep communication open with frequent updates, photos, and check-ins. I know how hard it can be to be away from your pets, so I make it a priority to be as communicative and reassuring as possible, giving you peace of mind while you’re apart. My approach is gentle, patient, and attentive, making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and stress-free while you’re away.

About: Growing up, I had the sweetest golden retriever you could ever hope to meet. Based on my life circumstances, I haven't been able to have a dog of my own since, but have spent a lot of time caring for friends' dogs---walking, feeding, grooming, playing with, and medicating as needed. For now, I'm between jobs, courses, etc., so my schedule is pretty open, and I can prioritize spending time with your animals as you see fit. As for safety inside, make sure that dogs don't have easy access to toxic foods and other dangerous objects that they could accidentally ingest. Same goes for garbage cans. For outside safety, proximity to the street and moving traffic is key. In general, I keep dogs on the leash unless we're in a fenced-in area, and alone. If we see another dog, I always check with the other people first to see if their dog is safe to socialize with.

About: I have always been a reliable phone call away for friends who need help caring for their pets during trips or emergencies. When I am responsible for an animal (whether it’s my cats or other pets), I build my day around when I need to check in on them. This summer I am working remotely and part time, so I am readily available to provide attentive care all day/night when I am in town (which is almost always)! I try my best to ensure all basic needs are covered above and beyond throughout the day (consistent food and water, clean litter box, play time and cuddles, etc.)
