About: Hi! My name is Kayla, and I’m an Animal Science student with professional experience caring for dogs and a lifetime of experience caring for cats. I offer care in client’s homes through drop-in visits, walks and extended drop-ins. I spent 2 years working at a dog rescue, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning kennels, exercising dogs, monitoring their health and behavior, and helping nervous or shy dogs feel comfortable. About: I’ve taken care of animals all my life. I have two dogs, a German Shepherd and a husky so I have experience with larger dogs. I love every and all kinds of animals and I’ll give your animal the love and care it needs to not even notice you’re gone. Pet care fits really well into my daily routine, especially since I’m on winter break from college. I don’t have classes right now, so my schedule is super flexible and I have a lot of free time during the day. That makes it easy for me to plan my day around feeding times, walks, playtime, and check-ins without being rushed. About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was a kid, and caring for them is something that comes naturally to me. I’m heading to UMass to study Animal Science and hope to join the National Guard to gain EOD bomb-sniffing dog experience. Before starting my own pet care business, I spent five years working at a professional dog daycare and boarding facility, where I worked my way up to Assistant Manager. That experience gave me extensive hands on experience with everything from puppies and seniors to high energy dogs, shy or nervous pets, multi-pet households, and pets with individualized care needs. Today, pet care is my full time job. I love getting to know each pet individually and becoming someone they’re genuinely comfortable and excited to see. About: All my life I’ve had a variety of different animals all including dogs, cats, birds, turtles, rabbits, etc. You name it, I have owned it. In some time spans all at the same time. I would love to take all this experience that I was fortunate enough to obtain throughout the years and bring it to your home! I am currently enrolled at the Western New England University. At the time being as I am on summer break I am looking for something to do to take up all this newly acquired time. As well as make some extra money to go towards my tuitions. About: I have owned and helped take care of pets since I was a child and have worked in the veterinary field for 5 years. I am proficient at giving oral and injectable medications. I am a born animal lover and will treat your pet as if they were my own. I do work full time, so would mostly be available weekends but can be flexible depending on the situation. My job provides me with skills that would be helpful in caring for older animals and animals with health conditions. Comfortable with both dogs and cats.
