About: I have been a veterinary technician for almost 20 years. In that time I have had the pleasure of working with dogs, cats and horses. I am able to give medications if needed, from orals to injectables. I also have experience with training dogs including puppy training, leash manners and minor behavior issues. I also love grooming. I can do dog walking and drop in visits on my days off. I love training, so if your pet needs some extra help I am able to do that as well. I also enjoy grooming. I treat your pets like they are my own. I make sure they have clean water. Take them out and make sure they have ample time to go to the bathroom. Do a quick check of them to make sure they are not hurt and watch for any sign of illness.

About: I’ve grown up with golden retrievers and labs throughout my life. I throughly enjoy being around dogs - taking them on walks or run’s depending on their abilities. I’ve pet sat for small dogs, large dogs, cats, turtles and Guinea pigs over the years. I am currently on maternity leave till after the holidays so I have a lot of free time & flexibility these days. Once I do go back to work - I have the ability to WFH and my hours are flexible so I can work my schedule around visits if need be. I have a large back and front yard in a quiet wooded neighborhood. When we bought the house if came with an underground electric fence as the people before us had 2 large dogs but they didn’t leave the dog collar. I assume if you have an electric fence as well your collars might work on ours if you want to bring them. We have an indoor cat but she keeps to herself - usually hides in the basement when people or other animals are over.

About: I have always been an animal lover—When I was seven years old I begged my parents all summer for a dog until finally one day we brought home a rescue! He lived and long (and somewhat spoiled) life and until he passed away a few years ago. Now that he is gone, I love even more spending time caring for other peoples pets. I have years of experience caring for dogs and cats of friends while they are on vacations. I have cared for dogs big and small, dogs who love long walks (I love to be active so that is great!), dogs who love pets, dogs who are afraid of thunder, and so many other dogs with their own quirky personality traits. I am here to cater to the special needs of your pet and would love the opportunity to take care of them when you need! I currently am only working on three days of the week (Mon, Tues, and Fri 8-5) so I have plenty of time to pay attention to your pets when they need! I naturally wake up early and am a very active person so if your dog needs an early walk, I’m your person. Outside of my work I am very flexible with my schedule so I am sure we can figure out how to meet your pets needs! The way I care for your pets is all about the way that you want them to be cared for. I know that both dogs and cats have a range of personalities and needs just like humans, and I want to be flexible in meeting each pet as they are. I love playtime and walks if you have energetic pups, and I have experience going to the dog park if that is needed. My favorite, however, is definitely to spend quality calm time together, whether that be reading a book and keeping your pet company, or giving them lots of attention, pets and cuddles.

“Dorothy and I have been good friends for about 15 years. She has love and compassion for all the dogs she has rescued. She treats them as members of her family for sure. As a friend I have always said I wanted to come back as one of her dogs. I have watched her with her best friend Penelope, she has trained her to be the best, she has taken the time to take her to classes, the vets on a regular basis or as needed, no matter what the cost. What dog gets a massage once a month in the comfort of her own home, Penelope does! Anyone in need of a dog walker or sitter would definitely get the best service by having Dorothy.”

About: I have been thoroughly enamored by dogs most of my life, ever since my family got our first black Lab. I have experience working with puppies, seniors, and everything in between! I currently have a 1-year-old puppy and 2 cats at home, all of whom are front-and-center in my life. I am also a veterinary technician (nurse), so I am very comfortable giving medication and caring for pets who may be unwell. I can also perform basic veterinary first aid, though I do not know CPR. I am extremely dedicated to keeping pets happy and healthy. I love working with them and discovering their unique personalities and quirks. I look forward to getting to know your dog! I am currently a full time vet tech, but am available all day on Sunday and Monday, and also afternoons (after 2 pm) on Wednesday and Saturday. I have one very friendly large-breed puppy, who would love to run and wrestle with your dog. In your home, I would respect any boundaries you set and maintain common courtesy. I also strive to leave everything as I found it.
