About: I volunteer at a local animal rescue fostering dogs, and assisting around the kennel. I have four dogs of my own & a multitude of other animals. I grew up in a family that treats dogs as such, and have developed a love and passion for helping animals. I work remotely right now and would be able to adjust my work schedule to accommodate necessary dog walks/visits. Since I work remotely, while dog sitting I have plenty of time to spend with your dog while in my care. I am understanding of each dogs individual needs and happy to accommodate any requests made by a pets owner. I have four of my own dogs who are friendly and inviting.

“Journey is great. They are reliable and Lucy loves when they come over.”

About: I grew up taking care of my family dog. Pebbles has a quirky personality - she keeps to herself and her favorite place to nap is in my dad’s suitcase. I feed her, walk with her, and cuddle with her on the couch for as long as she’ll let me. I also pride myself in being someone my friends can turn to when they need someone to look after their animals. I have cared for cats and dogs from senior chihuahuas to newfoundland puppies. I also have experience in animal care at the New England Aquarium. Though those friends aren’t quite as furry, it gave me experience monitoring health, following feeding and enrichment routines, and getting to know new animals. I’m currently in my last semester at UMass Amherst! My classes are midday Monday through Thursday, leaving my mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends free to care for your pets! It’s important to me to build a personal relationship with your pet. By doing my best to get to know them, I can ensure they are as comfortable as possible while I care for them!

About: I treat every pet like family, with experience in puppy training, senior care, and administering medications. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to keeping pets happy and safe. My husband and I both work from home, so your pet will have constant love and attention. Our friendly dog Ruby loves having company, and we take regular leashed walks and have safe areas nearby for outdoor time. In my home, pets get lots of attention, playtime with Ruby, and regular leashed walks. At a client’s home, I can stop by every 8 hours to provide feeding, potty breaks, and companionship—always making sure your pet feels safe and cared for.

About: I've had dogs my entirely life and I can confidently say they are my favorite animal. Throughout my life I have been heavily involved with different types of animal care, such as volunteering at the humane society and pet sitting for friends and family. I have experience taking care of dogs with various illnesses, and I have also cared for and had puppies. My favorite part about pet care is being able to spend time with and bond with a variety of animals and make them feel as safe and secure as possible while their owners are away. I hope you are able to consider me for watching your pet, I would love to do so! I am planning to housesit during the summer months. I am a current college student and the summer will offer a lot of availability to housesit. Longer stays are definitely something I am open to! Meeting your pets where they are is very important to me. Whether they have had a bunch of sitters, or I am their first one, I will make sure to make them as happy and comfortable as I can. Enrichment for animals Is something I view as a high priority, so making time for plenty of walks and play will be a large focus of mine. On top of that, I would love to have housesitting be an opportunity to bond with your animals. As I do not currently have any pets, I really cherish any time I can spend with them and will ensure they are as loved as can be !

About: I have had many years of experience with cats, dogs and birds of all breeds and varieties! I am 100% reliable in their care, and loving and respectful of their needs and routines. I have a calming and reassuring presence. I am very observant of health patterns and animal behaviors and have much practical knowledge. I have owned, trained and cared for many dogs from working breeds to lap dogs. I have had cats in my life from childhood. I fostered many kittens for our local shelter and then adopted. I have kept pet birds for 25 years, many of them rescues. I care for all kinds of birds, small mammals and reptiles. I love to tune in to every pet and use my skills to help them have the best possible experience while their owner is away. I am available 24/7 for drop-in visits, especially in the Amherst area. I can stay overnight in your home for up to a week and can provide care during the days. I will visit your home and follow all your instructions for pet care. I will 100% respect your property, privacy and security. I stay in close contact with clients every visit or house-sit. I address any issues with pets or property straight away.

About: For the last five years, I've gained a wealth of experience taking care of many different types of dogs. I've looked after the energetic Heeler, the loud Cavalier King Charles, and even the friendly Sheepdog! I generally specialize in smaller and medium sized dogs, particularly seniors and those with anxiety, though I am comfortable taking care of larger dogs as well. For all animals, I try to offer a gentle (but fun!) day that sticks as close to their regular routine as possible. I currently work full time as a grad instructor, so I primarily pet-sit on Thursdays (my day off), Friday evenings, weekends, and during school holidays. I also (occasionally) have some availability during week nights, so don't hesitate to reach out! I care for pets by first earning their trust with an extended hand, a soft voice, and no movements. Once the furry friend knows I'm not a threat, I do my best to match their energy while still following all provided instructions! Each pet and each day is unique, so I always take it one step at a time, putting the pet's safety and happiness first.

“Upon Juno & I's initial meeting with Caleb, I knew I had picked the right dog walker. Just as the breed description, Juno jumped and nipped Caleb upon the first meeting and Caleb wasn't phased. We then walked Juno together so Caleb could get to know the neighborhood. Once we were on vacation, Caleb got Juno well in hand and I received reports from my mother about how wonderful Caleb was with Juno, he got Juno well in hand and provided further training. He is a better dog overall with Caleb walking him!”

“Maya was great with my 9wk old puppy Romeo He seemed very happy with her”

“Joshua is so great with our dog - incredible combination of enthusiasm and attentiveness! Very professional and knowledgeable and a great communicator. Highly recommend!”

“Jackie was wonderful: on time, very sweet with Lucy, and took her for a nice walk around the neighborhood. She was happy to learn more about Lucy for their first walk together and was communicative throughout. Would gladly book her again. Thanks!”

About: I’ve spent the past four years in the Army and I am now beginning to transition back into the non- Army life. Within my years of military service, I learned discipline, routine, and how to stay calm in various high stress situations. In addition, I’ve had to learn to adapt to new environments. These are all skills that I would utilize in order to provide the best service I can to you and your pets. I am currently working full time in South Hadley. With this particular job, my schedule does tend to be quite chaotic- this meaning a shift could end in the early afternoon or late evening, since I currently work in the trades and schedules do tend to be hectic. But with that I have an incredibly understanding management team that allows time to those who need it to be put on shifts that will not go late into the day. Pet sitting 100% qualifies! A schedule specific to you and your pets needs can be discussed in the event you decide to reach out to me for a pet sitting opportunity:) I will care for any pet as if it was my own. At my home, I help with feeding, cleaning, and giving pills. Your pets safety and health is my top priority.
