“Lilly is easy to contact and arrives on time. We have a puppy who requires a lot of patience, and she’s been doing well.”

About: I am a 19 year old student studying political science and fine arts at Tufts University, and I have spent my whole life caring for animals. I grew up taking care of chickens, dogs, and cats, and I learned so much from them. I would love to be able to spend more time with animals of all kinds before I head back to school in the fall. I am very capable and a quick learner if your pets need extra help! I'm off of school for the summer, so my weeks are pretty available. I have a lot of free time during the day and can stay overnight if your pets require it. I haven't gotten to go hiking as much as I hoped to this summer, so if you have pets who enjoy being outside I would love that! My dog is 15, so I've recently learned how to care for him as he loses some of his faculties. Both my parents are teachers, so I have been at home caring for him while they finish up the school year, so I have some valuable experience with older pets. To me, caring for pets means setting and upholding boundaries while maintaining a loving environment and being attentive to the pets needs.

About: I grew up taking care of my family dog. Pebbles has a quirky personality - she keeps to herself and her favorite place to nap is in my dad’s suitcase. I feed her, walk with her, and cuddle with her on the couch for as long as she’ll let me. I also pride myself in being someone my friends can turn to when they need someone to look after their animals. I have cared for cats and dogs from senior chihuahuas to newfoundland puppies. I also have experience in animal care at the New England Aquarium. Though those friends aren’t quite as furry, it gave me experience monitoring health, following feeding and enrichment routines, and getting to know new animals. I’m currently in my last semester at UMass Amherst! My classes are midday Monday through Thursday, leaving my mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends free to care for your pets! It’s important to me to build a personal relationship with your pet. By doing my best to get to know them, I can ensure they are as comfortable as possible while I care for them!

“Anna is super sweet and very communicative! She helped out walking my dog very last minute which I so appreciate. Would definitely recommend her and will absolutely be using her again in the future :)”

About: For the last five years, I've gained a wealth of experience taking care of many different types of dogs. I've looked after the energetic Heeler, the loud Cavalier King Charles, and even the friendly Sheepdog! I generally specialize in smaller and medium sized dogs, particularly seniors and those with anxiety, though I am comfortable taking care of larger dogs as well. For all animals, I try to offer a gentle (but fun!) day that sticks as close to their regular routine as possible. I currently work full time as a grad instructor, so I primarily pet-sit on Thursdays (my day off), Friday evenings, weekends, and during school holidays. I also (occasionally) have some availability during week nights, so don't hesitate to reach out! I care for pets by first earning their trust with an extended hand, a soft voice, and no movements. Once the furry friend knows I'm not a threat, I do my best to match their energy while still following all provided instructions! Each pet and each day is unique, so I always take it one step at a time, putting the pet's safety and happiness first.

“Hope was so wonderful with my boys! They are older gentlemen who need a little extra TLC and she went above and beyond for them! Of course sent great pics and an update. The boys can’t wait to see Hope again!”

“Juliana was great! Took Celie on her walks and to her favorite spot, the park. She is super communicative and takes many pictures. Recommend 100%!”

“Hannah was great, the hottest week of the summer with a big furry guy who was not always interested in walking in the sun!”

About: I took care of dogs growing up, and now dogs are part of my family. My children have also grown up with dogs, helping with training, feeding, brushing, bathing, and playing with our dog. I am a middle school teacher who is home with my family during the summer. My 10 year old son and I are available to welcome your dog into our family life during the summer weeks and on weekends during the school year. We have a large yard with a stream and conservation land behind our house. We enjoy walks in the woods, running around and playing catch in the yard with dogs who stay with us. Inside dogs are allowed on the couch. We are home all day during the summer. We are excited to meet your dog and welcome them into our family life.

“He was really great keeping us in the loop. He was great handling a stubborn dog who didn’t want to come back inside the house!”

About: Even since I was young, I was called on to look after my friends and neighbor's pets while they were away. I have lots of experience training in caring for or these furry friends. In more recent years I've incorporated animal therapy into my personal practice. I often travel for work. When I'm not traveling, I'm working remotely, with plenty of time to incorporate pet care. Perfect for in house sits! I often do in-house pet sitting for clients, taking care of the needs of my furry friends, keeping things tidy, watering plants if needed, and taking in mail.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes for 10 years. I’ve been trusted as a dog sitter for friends, family, and neighbors. I absolutely love dogs and as a former dog owner, I treat any pet in my care with the same love and attention I would expect for my dog! I’m good with all energy levels — I’m happy to care for a chill dog, but am also happy to go on hikes and long walks with more energetic dogs. My schedule is flexible right now so I have plenty of time to care for and play with your dog(s)!! Let me know what schedule you need and I’ll do my best to make it happen! I love to spend lots of time playing and hanging out with dogs in my care! I’m happy to crate them if needed as well. I don’t walk dogs off leash if they aren’t my own and am always cautious around other dogs. I have a seatbelt in my car that clips onto a collar/harness for safe rides. I will follow any care instructions given to me carefully!

About: From training feisty puppies to caring for senior dogs, I’ve worked with dogs of all ages. I’ve got that covered too. I'm looking forward to hearing from you! I am currently working part time and looking to spend some of my spare time with animals. I have a flexible schedule so reach out so we can coordinate the best schedule that works for you! I can do it all! I am enthusiastic about working with all animals. “Thank you Kristina for caring for Ellie and Appa. You provided so many amazing photos and listened to my instructions! Ellie especially seemed to have a lot of fun going for walk! I will definitely be looking to have you watch them again, thank you!”

About: I have been taking care of my own dogs since I was able to walk them! I have two dogs, a medium and large breed and have cared for them in every way, walking, feeding, bathing, and of course giving plenty of love! Since going to college I’ve missed my time with my dogs and the opportunity to show such amazing animals all the love and care they deserve. I am a graduate student so I am very busy during the week. However on the weekends I have plenty of time to walk and take your of your dog! I am happy to care for your dog on your terms! I respect the many different ways people go about raising and caring for their dogs. For drop in visits I can let them out in the yard, take them for a walk via my own transportation or down the road, or just spend time with them!

“Upon Juno & I's initial meeting with Caleb, I knew I had picked the right dog walker. Just as the breed description, Juno jumped and nipped Caleb upon the first meeting and Caleb wasn't phased. We then walked Juno together so Caleb could get to know the neighborhood. Once we were on vacation, Caleb got Juno well in hand and I received reports from my mother about how wonderful Caleb was with Juno, he got Juno well in hand and provided further training. He is a better dog overall with Caleb walking him!”
