About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was a kid, and caring for them is something that comes naturally to me. I’m heading to UMass to study Animal Science and hope to join the National Guard to gain EOD bomb-sniffing dog experience. I currently own a high-energy Border Collie/Australian Kelpie mix I rescued, and I’ve also cared for an elderly Shih Tzu who needed lots of special attention and patience. I’m very work-oriented, reliable, and people have told me I’m great with customer service. Neighbors, friends, and family often count on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets, and I truly love every moment of it. As a full-time student, I’ve built a schedule that gives me plenty of time for pet care. I also work at a doggy daycare in Avon, CT, so my work schedule usually varies throughout the week. I’m happy to communicate my availability ahead of time and work with each pet parent to find a schedule that works best for everyone. I’m generally more flexible on days I’m not working and can often accommodate evenings and weekends. I treat every pet like they’re my own and want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. Working at a doggy daycare has given me experience handling dogs with all different personalities, energy levels, ages, and needs. I’m attentive to their body language and routines and always make sure they get the appropriate amount of exercise, attention, rest, food, and potty breaks. About: Hi, I'm Marla! I've always been an animal person, with having a cat of my own as well as two dogs, so I'm experienced with taking care of animals. I am also quite the photographer & will get all the best shots so you don’t miss your fur babies too much ! About: I’ve taken care of dog of many sizes and health conditions, I have had a cat for 9ish years and have cared for friend and families dogs for years. I am a student, I am relatively free but lots of work to do! I like to go on walks already! I am able to be flexible. I know how to feed animals and care for them, can follow special instructions as I know they are important. As much as I would love to care for your fur baby at my home, I cannot.

At only 3 I moved in with my step father onto a small farm(yes this means I can feed your chickens, gather your eggs, clean your stalls, and feed your cattle, pigs, or even horses). I spent three years working in the veterinary field where I learned to better understand and triage animal emergency and how to deal with them calmly and safely. I have 3 dogs, and 2 cats of my own as well as a bearded dragon and a few chickens, whom I love more than life.
