About: Grew up with dogs and cats. Raised, trained, and explored with my own yellow lab for over a decade. Love bringing joy to canine/feline friends! Im currently a stay-at-home dad of preschoolers. I’m free most weekdays and weekends, depending on plans. Hours between 9am-2pm work best, although there is room for flexibility. Have a cozy house with a large back yard and am close to many great walk options, including Puffers Pond. I like to get a feel for individual animals and adjust care depending on needs. About: The neighborhood that I grew up in was filled with dog owners, so I have a lot of experience helping out my neighbors with pet care. I’ve had a variety of experiences in taking care of dogs— ranging from just taking them for a quick walk to housesitting so that a pet can have an overnight buddy! I also grew up in a very pet-filled household (dog, cats, bearded dragon, hamsters, fish), so I love to be surrounded by animals. I’m currently a university student, so, outside of my class periods, I have a pretty open schedule to care for a pet! I love to spend time outside, so I’m always eager to take a dog for a walk or play fetch! I grew up with a samoyed, so I have experience in caring for bigger, energetic dogs. My care style is pretty adaptive to the pet’s energy; I love to play with energetic pets, but I also love to take it slow and have a relaxed time with pets that are older or more timid.

About: With 25+ years of pet care experience, including 15 years as a vet tech, I treat each animal as I would my own. I enjoy getting to know clients and their companion animals. I feel it is important for pets to have someone familiar taking care of them while their people are away. For this reason, I will usually ask to set up a meet and greet prior to the first booking. In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience with small mammals (e.g. gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits), exotics (e.g. lizards, turtles, birds), and farm animals (e.g. chickens, horses, cows, sheep, goats). Whether exercising exuberant young animals, entertaining indoor cats, or just keeping them company so they don't miss you [as much], I'm there to be another one of their people! I look forward to meeting your animal companion(s) and learning more about their routine and requirements to keep them happy & healthy while you are away. You can expect to receive updates including photos while they are in my care. Drop-in visits and house sitting generally available 7 days (between 8AM-8PM) and 7 nights/week. I offer dog walking but not are occurring service on week end days, though available some weekends. My own yard is unfenced; I offer leashed walks and potty breaks in yard and/or on nearby trails. Due to respect for my 3 cats, I do not offer doggy day care or sitting in my home across the board. I have made exceptions for cat-friendly and low-key critters in the past. Find it generally works best to care for pets in the comfort of their own home, where I keep their regular routine going to the best of my ability.

About: I am a 19 year old student studying political science and fine arts at Tufts University, and I have spent my whole life caring for animals. I grew up taking care of chickens, dogs, and cats, and I learned so much from them. I would love to be able to spend more time with animals of all kinds before I head back to school in the fall. I am very capable and a quick learner if your pets need extra help! I'm off of school for the summer, so my weeks are pretty available. I have a lot of free time during the day and can stay overnight if your pets require it. I haven't gotten to go hiking as much as I hoped to this summer, so if you have pets who enjoy being outside I would love that! My dog is 15, so I've recently learned how to care for him as he loses some of his faculties. Both my parents are teachers, so I have been at home caring for him while they finish up the school year, so I have some valuable experience with older pets. To me, caring for pets means setting and upholding boundaries while maintaining a loving environment and being attentive to the pets needs.

About: I’ve taken care of pets from a young age. I’ve had many dogs of my own and taken care of litters. From coworkers needing a helping hand to neighbors taking a vacation I’ve seen it all. I have a part time job that’s very fluent with hours so I will have tons of time to take care of and even just hangout your pets. I will treat your pets as if they were my own and I am easily accessible if there is any worry or concerns about my care or your pets well being.

About: I took care of dogs growing up, and now dogs are part of my family. My children have also grown up with dogs, helping with training, feeding, brushing, bathing, and playing with our dog. I am a middle school teacher who is home with my family during the summer. My 10 year old son and I are available to welcome your dog into our family life during the summer weeks and on weekends during the school year. We have a large yard with a stream and conservation land behind our house. We enjoy walks in the woods, running around and playing catch in the yard with dogs who stay with us. Inside dogs are allowed on the couch. We are home all day during the summer. We are excited to meet your dog and welcome them into our family life.

About: I have been taking care of my own dogs since I was able to walk them! I have two dogs, a medium and large breed and have cared for them in every way, walking, feeding, bathing, and of course giving plenty of love! Since going to college I’ve missed my time with my dogs and the opportunity to show such amazing animals all the love and care they deserve. I am a graduate student so I am very busy during the week. However on the weekends I have plenty of time to walk and take your of your dog! I am happy to care for your dog on your terms! I respect the many different ways people go about raising and caring for their dogs. For drop in visits I can let them out in the yard, take them for a walk via my own transportation or down the road, or just spend time with them!
