About: Hello, my name is Erik. I'm a true dog lover who has been dog walking/pet sitting for over 15 years. I grew up here in New Orleans, and after being gone for several years I have returned home. I have a special connection with dogs and I love spending lots of time with them at the park playing ball, going on long walks, or just laying on the floor with them giving belly rubs . I know dogs are a special part of your family and finding someone who can take care of them is challenging. For that reason, I do my best to make them feel comfortable and treat them as if they were mine. I am a real estate agent here in the greater New Orleans area, and so I am usually out-and-about with clients during the day; for that reason, I am available most any day during the week while you are at work. I can also do afternoon, evening & overnight visits. I also like to spend about 30-45 minutes with each pet, so that they get the exercise they need during the day. I look forward to taking care of you furry baby! :)

About: I’ve had pets (dogs and cats) for nearly my entire life! I have a genuine love for all animals and am very attentive & patient. I currently have 3 cats with 3 entirely different personalities, a sweet senior dog, and a fiesty little hamster. Tell me your needs & they shall be met! I work part-time and have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I will work with your requests and be very upfront about expectations before the scheduled visits. I am offering to come to the pet’s home and provide care for them there. Before you’re away, we will schedule a meet up to go over everything. I do not have a fenced in yard, but take my dog for several walks per day and would do the same with yours! At your house, it’s your rules and I will make whatever work.

I’m reliable, flexible, and always eager to provide a safe, fun, and caring environment for your furry family members. Whether for walks, overnight stays, or specialized care, your pet's happiness and safety are my top priorities I am working as a substitute teacher. So I often have days off. While school is off, I have time to go on long walks, or have your pet stay over night. If all you need is for me to pass by for a checkup, take them out for a potty break, or refill the food and water bowls, thats totally doable too! On Thursdays after 4.30 I can always take in pets for the evening or the whole night. Please, don't hesitate to contact me even if my schedule shows no availability as I can be flexible with my time. If needed, I can also take your pet over the weekend, if I have enough notice in advance. I have a fenced yard. A fully closed porch. No pets, no smoking. Clean and safe, 2 Bedroom house. I live in a calm neighborhood with a dog-park nearby.

About: I've always been drawn to animals who are most in need - emotionally and physically. And that means I've gained experience helping animals with medical needs. Since I was 9, I've owned, fostered, delivered, and cared for dogs, cats, and kittens. I have also had a few fish and cared for reptiles and rats, mice, and hamsters. My Norfolk terrier, Chester, had intervertebral disc disease when he was 5. Thankfully, with medical treatment, he regained feeling in his legs! I can give pills without pill-pockets, as well as liquid medicine. I've given shots. And I've administered subcutaneous fluids twice per day to 2 kittens who had panleukopenia virus so they wouldn't get euthanized. But every animal has various needs, medical or otherwise, and deserves the same and equal love and attention. I'd love to care for your cats or dogs as well! At home, a having a senior dog becomes a daily and weekly routine! As with all animals, that means: eat, poop, play, snuggle, nap, love, repeat! Animals are so smart. They know OUR routines and live by them. They say: "She's washing her face at nighttime? That must mean it's time to go outside before sleep! [yaawwn]" I'd love to have a routine with your pet! Initially, getting to know your fur baby/babies will be about taking it slow, giving them the right body (and facial) cues, being consistent, and building a routine. If you're ok with me giving them a treat, I'll do so based on your recommendation. If not, I'll just smell like I have treats! If you choose in-home services, I'll be on your pet's home turf, and I'm always letting your pet decide the play and love that they're comfortable with. If you're requesting pet-walking, your pet will require leadership, for safety reasons and for them to properly relax. Either way, your fur baby will be comfortable and at ease!

I’ve cared for my sweet senior dog, Pip, who needed extra TLC, an adorably picky Shih Tzu, and Louise, a high-energy Lab who never runs out of zoomies. I am currently enrolled at Tulane, but I have an open summer to spend lots of time with your furry friend! When school starts, I will be a bit busier but I will have lots of time in the mornings, evenings and weekends to hang out with pets. For cats, I follow their usual routines for feeding, playtime, and litter box cleaning, with plenty of patience for shy or special-needs cats like my own three-legged kitty, Sully. For dogs, I make sure to keep up with their normal schedule for walks, meals, play, and potty breaks. I’m experienced with a wide range of dogs—from senior pups who need extra gentle care to high-energy dogs who love long walks and active play. I always focus on making them feel safe, loved, and entertained while you’re away. And of course, I know how important peace of mind is for you! I’ll send lots of photos and updates during each visit so you always know how your furry friend is doing.

About: I have personally taken my dog to dog training and also have a reference book on it incase a dog proves to be difficult. I love dogs and wish to make them as happy and comfortable as possible. I have had four dogs over my lifetime and I have had responsibility over them. I have extensively learned to care for dogs through training programs, family, and friends. About: I love all personality types in dogs, and can easily adapt to best suit the environment that your dog thrives in. Our animals speak to us just as clearly as any human, and I pay attention to those details to provide the best care for your pet. I am flexible in availability, scheduling, and demands. While I pay attention to the little things and provide specialized care for your dog, I will always defer to the heart that holds the pet - yours! I am currently on summer break from teaching until August 4, so I have a lot of flexibility for the next couple weeks. Weekends are always flexible. M-F I am happy to do overnights and potty breaks during my lunch breaks. I am at work from 8-4, but can dedicate my 4-9 to hours walks, play, attention, or just keeping an eye on your pet! Building trust with you and your dog are the most important steps to maintaining respectful boundaries. Because I only offer service in my clients home, I will adapt based on your needs and requests related to the dog AND your home. It takes a lot to feel comfortable with someone in your home taking care of something precious, and so little to break that bond. About: I've had cats and other small animals since I was 2! I had a dog for all of my childhood and I was her primary care taker. I've been pet sitting for friends and family for many years! And officially employed as a sitter for 3 years! I adore animals and I'll treat yours like my own! I live in a decent sized shop gun with a large fenced in back yard close to a levee and parks for walks I'm an independent esthetician who's studio is only 3 blocks away from home and I work for myself! The his makes accommodations for animals easy peasy! I also have A reliable car so popping in to feed cats/dogs and/or walking dogs multiple times a day is very fesiable I have a small fenced in back yard and live in a safe dog friendly neighborhood I have 2 cats, ones elderly and naps alot the other is young and curious but both tend to stay in their own space away from dogs when we board them! I am an independent esthetician so I set my own schedule making petsitting very easy to fit in as well as working within a 3 block radius of my home! Can put breaks in my day whenever needed! I care for pets in my home as they are my own and work close enough to pop in many times a day making it optimal for any type of pet needs

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 17, and have I am taking care of my dads dog and I can’t wait to meet other pets! I try to work every other day and free Saturday night after 8 and every Sunday. I’m good for check ins through the day . When dog sitting I am extremely respectful of the privacy of the owners home, and if anything I can walk them around the neighborhood or yard( depending the area)

About: I have always had dogs in my life. Currently I am home to 3 medium sized pups. I have owned, rescued, and fostered dogs. I have also volunteered time at the animal shelter walking the dogs, and have participated in several pet adoption days. I own three dogs. I work in outside sales. My office is my home. Except for occasional face to face meetings, I am home most of the day. I am also physically fit and enjoy dog walks around my neighborhood, levee, and park. I am home to three amazing pups. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for dogs to run. We also live by the levee which dogs really enjoy walking along. My dogs are my children and are kept indoors. They are allowed on our furniture, which is kept clean with covers and regular cleaning. They have a scheduled feeding time twice a day. I do have two kennels 3 & 4 feet high that can be placed indoors or outdoors, if need be. I also have small kennels for tiny furry friends that stay with us, or for transportation.
