Our dogs had a wonderful stay! Josie sent us updates throughout their stay with her. She had a great set up with a large backyard for the dogs to play. We are so happy we found her and will definitely request her again when we are back in the area.

Was in town for the weekend and my dog couldn’t stay with me at my hotel but it was fine because she was in great hands with Nicholas!! She is an Akita and she is a rescue so that can be a lot to handle but not for him: he even got her to socialize with his dog. So much so, that when I went to pick her up, they were still busy chasing each other around. Anyone who has dealt with a difficult breed or a rescue knows how much time is needed and I’m grateful!!Thanks again for helping out!

Pam is fantastic! I had a personal friend back our of sitting my dogs at the last minute so I contacted Pam, and within 30 minutes, she contacted me back and was ready to pick them up from my home! She clearly cares about the pups she sits for and obviously has experience with dogs of all types and ages. I loved how quick, courteous, and attentive she is. I would 100% recommend and use her again!

About: I’ve had dogs in my home since I was 7 years old, caring and loving for small to large dogs, across all ages. I am a proud parent of a 11 lb Chizer and work from home, which allows me to care for your dog throughout the day. My dog gets along with all sized dogs and loves buddies to play with, so your dog will not be alone. I work full time from home and will be around your dog at all times as we never leave our own dog alone. I am able to care for your dog during the weekend as well, as schedules permit. I have a small fenced area to allow your dog to play freely off leash. I also have a huge unfenced yard to take your dog for breaks and to walk around. Food and any medication will be provided per your guidance. Please let me know if your dog has any medical issues in advance so I can care for him/her appropriately.

About: I have had pets since I was 4 years old. Growing up on a farm, I learned to take care of animals from a very young age. Additionally, I spent a lot of my high school years pet sitting for neighbors, family friends, and friends of friends! I have had many dogs of many different breeds and ages. I tend to be an active person, so walking and playing with my pets to ensure their exercise is something I prioritize. I’m very good at adapting to pets different personalities and making them as comfortable as possible. I work 5 days a week but on a hybrid schedule- 3 days in office, 2 days working from home. My hours are 9-3, so I have plenty of time during the week to love on your pet! Additionally, my weekends are free. Though I do not have any pets currently, I have an apartment with plenty of room, outside space, and live directly across from a huge, gated dog park— which is friendly to all sizes of dogs. Additionally, I live right next to tons of walking trails, perfect for those pets who love their walks! If your pup is needing to be crated, I can easily make that happen, as well as anything else your pet needs!

About: I’ve been taking care of cats and dogs all throughout high school, specifically with families and working couples. I understand the importance pets have in the structure of any family, and it’s my pleasure to offer peace knowing your pet is being taken care of and loved while you’re away. I like meeting pets where they’re at, wether it’s running around a park with energetic Border Collies or lounging around with a chill cat. As a full time college student, I see my pets between classes, take care of them during my study breaks, and even bring them to my favorite study spots! I make sure that all their needs are met through any environment and situation. I never push them past what their owner has made clear they are comfortable with.

About: I have always grew up around dogs in my home and friends, family home. My grandma used to foster dogs and she taught me a lot I know about them including but not limited to administering shots and medications. I currently work full-time. However, the dog door and fenced in yard allows your dog to be out and roam freely while I am away. I am also okay to crate your dog if that is what you would prefer. When I get home it's usually clean, play, and dinner time. As the night goes on its movies and cuddles. I have a fenced in yard and a doggy door to let your dog(s) run around outside and play during the day freely as wanted. I love to take walks in the nice weather with the dogs and play fetch out in the yard. I have an indoor camera and outdoors cameras to keep eyes when I'm not home.

About: I worked as a pet-sitter in the Goshen area during college. I have experience with older dogs and multi-pet households. I’m happy to keep as close to your regular schedule as possible. I’ve just graduated from UND with my MFA and I am looking for a little extra income as I adjust to life post graduate school. My days are totally flexible and I am happy to work around your preferred schedule. I’ve accommodated picky eaters and older pets dealing with incontinence. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
