“Christina is a wonderful dog sitter. She literally helped me out when I was dealing with a personal crisis and needed an emergency sitter for my dog. She was able to connect with him & gain his trust quickly. Proof that good people are out there! Thanks a million Christina!! :)”

“Kat was great to work with and our golden Doodle, Augie, gives her 5 stars. We got pictures during her stay and everything was ready when we came to pick her up. We will definitely schedule with Kat again.”

“Lynn was great with our little guy. She sent a lot of pictures and videos, was very responsive and took great care of him following all of our requests! Would definitely book her again.”

“Thanks so much, Emily & Ryan! We appreciated all the picture updates, and Calvin obviously had a wonderful time. You guys were always quick to respond, helpful, and flexible. We hope to book again in future.”

“Deseo expresar mi agradecimiento por el cuidado brindado al Gordo durante estos tres días. Se evidenció un manejo responsable y atento en todo momento, así como la paciencia necesaria para atenderlo adecuadamente. Me generó confianza saber que estaba en buenas manos. Ha sido una experiencia satisfactoria.”

“Chris has done doggy day care with Walter before, but this was the first time I had to leave my pup for so long! Walter came back happy and healthy, and Chris was super great about updating me on his progress and sending the cutest photos!! Thank you Chris!!”

“Kevin and his wife Piper took exceptional care of my golden retriever, Point! From start to finish, I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such great hands. They went above and beyond by sending plenty of pictures, which really showed how comfortable and happy Point was during his stay, it meant so much to see him having such a great time. It’s clear they truly care about the dogs they watch and treat them like their own. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I will most definitely be having them watch Point again. Highly recommend!”

“Paul & Kelly took excellent care of Dewey and were easy to work with. I came over before my trip for a meet & greet and they were very reassuring. I got regular updates & pictures. Dewey loved the big yard & got lots of gentle attention & play time from the Boys.”

“Victoria took really good care of Beans, kept me updated and always responded to my messages quickly. She was kind and had a great environment for pups. She took her for walks and let her sleep with her in the bed. Beans had a great time there!”

“We had an amazing experience with Dez and Nick! They are incredibly caring and patient, which was so important for us since Chico is still potty training. He had a lot of fun and received so much love while we were away; it was also great for him to spend time with their dogs, Sandler and Nolly. We felt completely at ease knowing he was in such kind hands. Highly recommend!”

“Tiffani was great with my Rudy. Treated him like her own. Great communication with me. Never worried for a minute that he wasn't having the best care. I know he had a great time because he was worn out when I picked him up. Not an easy thing to do with an active puppy like my Rudy. I would highly recommend Tiffani and will definitely have her look after him next time I am in town.”

“Lindsay is literally the definition of a GODSEND when it comes to dog sitting & taking care of your pet when you have to leave him or her behind going out of town. This was my second time leaving my dog (Hank) with Lindsay and her family, and for as long as I live here in the South Bend/Michiana area I will never look elsewhere for a sitter. She truly treats ALL dogs as if they are her own, and ensures that each and every one of them has a remarkable experience under her care. I promise promise promise there is no better sitter in the area, so if you’re looking for someone to look after a pet you love so dearly, look no further because Lindsay & her family are the best there is. I will forever be thankful I found her & will continue to use her as often as I can throughout the near future!”

“Excellent service is all I gotta say!! This was my dogs first time ever staying overnight with anyone besides her owners and she did really good, she doesn't like other animals so she had her own separate space! They kept me updated every few hours or so with videos and pictures, I will definitely be booking again! 😊”

About: I've taken care of cats for most of my life. I have experience with giving medications such as pills and insulin injections. I can adapt to any cat's personality. If they are friendly I am happy to give cuddles and if they are shy or more on the skittish side I am happy to take it slow and give them their space while ensuring their needs are met.
“Took care of my cats while I was at my wedding. Simply put, I was not worried about my kitties at all because she took such good care of them. She had great drop in photos and gave me one less thing to worry about during a very busy time. Absolutely recommend!”

“Jeannie was amazing with my fur babies. This was our first time using someone we didn’t know (not the neighbor or close friend), and Jeannie was great from the first meet and greet throughout the whole process and time watching them. She would send videos and pics and daily updates and both cats took to her so well. Wonderful sitter who went above and beyond”

“Raquel was wonderful!! Our shy cat actually let her pet her on the first meeting, so that’s all I need to know to rebook her for our next trip. Communication was top notch and she sent plenty of photos which always makes us feel at ease when we’re away from our baby. Water was full and litter box was clean when we got back home. We were booking for a very last minute trip and she responded faster than anyone I messaged. Super glad we met her, I’m sure our cat will be happy to see her again!”

“Heather was the absolute best! Our cats gravitated towards her instantly during the meet and greet that we were confident to book with her. We had a two week vacation and received photos and updates everyday. She really went the extra mile and we will book with Heather for all future pet needs!”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Granger
“Chris was terrific with Willow and very accommodating to our schedule. Love that he sent pics and updates throughout day. Willow must have had a great day because she was worn out when she got home😄 Thank you Chris!”

“Kat was great. LiLi was a little hesitant when she saw Solo because she’s not accustomed to seeing dogs bigger than her. But, it only took a few minutes before she joined him in a game of “chase” in Kay’s spacious backyard. When Kat’s other dog, Chewie, ran out to join the fun, all three played together very well. I was very comfortable leaving LiLi with Kat.”

“I’ve been bringing my dog, Mykonos, to Lynn for daycare, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provides. Every morning, he gets so excited to go back, which says everything about how comfortable and happy he feels with her. He comes home calm and content, showing no signs of stress or anxiety. It gives me real peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. Lynn clearly cares deeply for the dogs she looks after, and I’m grateful for the warm, safe environment she provides.”

“Michaela was a wonderful dog sitter while we attended a wedding. She was thoughtful and communicative, sending us plenty of pictures of Maeve after her stay. When we mentioned we missed her and would love a few photos during daycare, Michaela was so understanding and sent a couple sweet pictures in the moment that really put our hearts at ease. Highly recommend and if we’re ever in the area again we will book again!”

“Christina is a very kind person, she took such great care of my fur baby while I was on vacation sent pictures/ videos throughout my whole trip to make sure I knew that Jayce was in great hands. I will definitely be booking with her again!”
“Finding Lindsay and her weekly daycare has been such a blessing to our dog and to our family. Our Golden, Vera walks in the door every morning with a wagging tale knowing that everyday is going to be full of love, furry friends, communication with her momma if needed, and unconditional kindness. Lindsay provides a safe, clean, trusting, professional, organized, and fun home for all of her dogs. We couldn't ask for more and we are extraordinarily thankful!”

“Kimberlee and her husband (and their son) were all great with LiLi! LiLi was already playing with their sweet and very friendly dog, Odie, when I was leaving. I got lots of pictures and communication throughout the day. I was happy to see a blur where LiLi’s tail would have been. 😂 She had so much fun. I highly recommend Kimberlee and her family and definitely will use them again!!”

I have been dog sitting and walking for over 15 years and I have had a dog in my home my entire life. I have two doggies. One 5-year-old Golden Doodle and a 8-month old Bernedoodle that LOVES everyone - other dogs, kids, and cats! I am good at administering medications. My daughter and I are diabetics so we are well-versed in medical needs! I am very good at training if you would like your dog to learn to sit, stay or shake! About: New to Rover.com but 10+ years of fostering over 400 babies for local shelters. They were all spoiled by the time they were ready for adoption. (No apologies for that 🙃) Your pet will be well cared for/spoiled while they visit! I can take two dogs, for the safety of your pet(s) and mine, only if they are from the same household. Love animals and miss fostering I did while in California. Your family member will be in caring hands who has years of experience with puppies and kittens who needed medication. I’m retired and have all the time in the world. 🤭 I still foster and mark my calendar as unavailable when I have foster babies. You can always ask if there is room for one more. 😉 New home with half acre fenced yard. Have a very active border collie who wants a playmate. My animals have always had the run of the house but I can provide a crate if need be. If you need an extended period of time, let me know. My last foster was 6 months old, from a local shelter and was here for over 2 months.
“Justin was AMAZING in taking care of our 2 fur babies while we were in town for vacation. My black lab, who is very shy, warmed up to him right away which I knew was a very good indicator that they were in good hands. I will be using him from now on whenever I am in town.”

“I knew right away our Pup was in good and loving hands. Betty is so kind and she let us know throughout the day how our little guy was doing. We would definitely use her services again.”

“Okay, I don’t know where to start to describe Josie. She is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious for my husband’s description. It means, for me she is amazing and wonderful dog sitter also her family and sweet dog Luna are big help for our dog. Bear loves playing with Luna a lot. Bear feels great in his first week and it helps a lot for our everyday routine. We don’t have to take him for a walk after work because he is already wear out once we get home. I highly recommend Josie for a dog sitter. This week is Bear’s 2nd week with Josie . Thanks a lot Josie”

About: I have three pups. I've fostered for different rescues in the area and can provide references upon request. We've had every type of pup here and haven't ever had to turn one away. I only work about 20 hours a week so I'm home often to love on your pups. I have a completely fenced in backyard and dog doors so your pups can have freedom to play and potty when they need My pup is Ollie, a yellow lab born around 2014. He was also adopted from Homeward Bound. My pup Fred Rogers (Chi-Weenie) was also born around 2021 and was actually a client's (turned friend) pup through Rover. I love helping our furry friends feel comfortable and loved.
“Flexible and an understanding caregiver for our active poodle. We were visiting out of state and Sonny was able to accommodate us last minute. Sonny sent us photos, videos, and updates through-out the day, which helped my family be more at ease. We will be using Sonny’s services when we visit next time.”

Adventure-ready dog walkers - Granger
About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life. I’ve potty trained them, taught them how to walk with a leash, taught them tricks like sit stay and say your prayers, and too many to say. I will spoil your fur babies like I do mine. You would never have any worries while you’re away they will be in good hands. I love and enjoy being around dogs and or cats. I’d send you videos and or pictures of your fur baby. Some owners have their fur babies on a schedule if so I will do the same. if there is a park nearby I’d probably take them there. But first I would ask the owner what they would like me to do sense it is their pet. I'm retired so I'm flexible. My routine is the fur babies routine. I'd like to keep it that way for them, so I would need to know. I have a fenced in yard, not big for big dogs tho. They will be fed, played with and cuddled. If they need to be caged I have a large one for their comfort.

About: Growing up, I have always had 2-3 dogs in our household, and have showed them the upmost love, care, and affection as possible. I have grown up with many Chocolate Labs as well as a Sheltie and a Havanese. I’ve worked with all ages, from puppy to 16 years old. My dogs have always been and still are viewed as family which is why, as a dog owner, I would want the most trustworthy, compassionate, and responsible person taking care of them. I can assure you that I will treat your dog the way they are supposed to be treated, as family. I am available after 12:30 PM in the afternoon to walk your dog, or check up on them so they have some company throughout the day! My times are pretty flexible, so please reach out if you need the times to be flexible. While taking care of a pet, I think it it’s important to make sure they are comfortable. Making sure their water is full, fed on time, depending on the dog, getting the right exercise, and of course giving the pet love and attention. I love to play fetch with dogs and take them on walks so they can get outside and enjoy the outdoors.
About: I have a lifetime of experience caring for my own pets, I have a dog and 4 cats as well as 4 equine friends at home. I have always been there for my friends and family when they need someone to look after their pets whether its for a drop in visit or someone to take care of them while they are away for longer periods of time. I work part time and I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule as well as reliable transportation. I'll make sure that any scheduling conflicts are accounted for before accepting a client. I will always care for your pets as if they were my own, and carefully follow any special instructs. I know very well that every pet is different, and thrives with the right kind of attention.
About: I have always loved animals from a young age. I grew up with a family dog. Three years ago, I signed up to be a volunteer trainer for service dogs in training, I have trained three different dogs of my own, each with special characteristics. I also have helped sit dogs for the past 5 years. I am experienced when it comes to helping train dogs as well as taking them out and about and getting all of their puppy energy out. I just graduated with my undergrad in Mechanical Engineering while being a student athlete at Ohio Northern University. I am home for the summer before attending graduate school to study Biomedical engineering in the fall. I am free all summer and would love to help take after your pet! I pay close attention to detail to what a client says about their animal, each pet is different which means they have different needs. It is always important to watch out for a dogs body language in new situations as each dog is going to react differently.
“Heather does outstanding with my two girls! My littlest baby lupita who has always been very fearful of strangers absolutely loves her. She usually takes a while to warm up to new people but met heather the first day and loved her. My oldest girl Nana is a big love bug so she of course had to be all over her the first day she met her. Heather made the process of trusting someone other than myself to love and care for my babies as I would a very easy and stressless process. She accommodated all the special needs of my girls, checked in frequently, and answered any questions I had. She was very flexible with her schedule when a change of walking time was needed. I have nothing but good things to say about heather and could not have picked a better person to trust my baby girls with.”

About: Ive taken care of cats and dogs for friends and family since I was young and currently have 5 of my own! Three of which since they were babies and three rescues! I currently work 5 days a week, but my hours vary and can work around whatever you may need! For at stays at my house, my husband is usually home when I am not! I have a fenced yard and plenty of open space inside as well. All of my animals have been socialized their whole lives and love meeting new friends!
About: I have had both dogs and cats since a young child, multiple at a time. I have petsit for many family friends for years and am usually the go to person for them as their pets are comfortable around me. I've owned dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and birds! I work 8 hours a day, from 7am-3:30pm but I have a 30 min drive to and from work (I work in Tempe!) so my availability for drop ins is mostly during super early mornings and late afternoons/evenings. I can do drop in visits before and after work or spend the entire evening and night with them if thats what they need! I do not work Saturdays or Sundays! I try to dedicate times to play, affection, and simple presence so the pets feel at ease and comfortable in their own homes while I also catering to their needs. I am open to spending hours with your pet(s) just so they have a human to be around if needed, I absolutely do not mind hanging out with them and playing with then throughout the day.

“My dog is so picky, and she was so patient with him! Took care of him like he was her own dog. Showed him love, and he was just as excited to see her as he is to see me, so that says a lot about Kaitlyn! I will definitely consider her in the future if I need someone to care for and walk my fur baby. Excellent service!”

About: I’ve taken care of various family/friends pets since I was a young girl, and have worked with animals for a few years in a mobile dog grooming truck. I’ve loved animals since I can remember, and have always had some sort of pet! I understand that pets are family and need loved the same way we do, so they will be treated with nothing less than that I guarantee. My daily/weekly routine is currently pretty flexible, so I’ve got some spare time to help watch your babies while you’re away, take them out for walks/potty breaks, or whatever you may need help with! Because of previous work experience, I’ve gained quite a bit of knowledge and understanding when it comes to handling and interacting with dogs/cats. As I said before, I’ve always had a love for animals, so I strive to care for them with as much love and interaction as possible.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I’ve worked with playful puppies, independent cats, and senior pets who need extra patience and attention. I love getting to know each pet’s personality—whether that means long walks, playtime, or quiet cuddles—and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to make your pet feel like they’re with a friend, not just a sitter. Pet care is already part of my daily routine because I care for my own cat every day, from feeding and cleaning the litter box to playtime and making sure she feels loved and comfortable. Having my own pet has made me attentive to routines, behavior changes, and the small details that help animals feel safe and cared for. I also love spending time with dogs, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or giving them the attention and exercise they need. Caring for pets fits naturally into my routine because it’s something I genuinely enjoy and make time for every day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean up after them, and make sure they get the playtime, walks, or quiet companionship they need. I believe pets feel most secure in their own home because it’s their safe space, surrounded by familiar smells and routines. Being able to care for them in that environment helps build trust and creates a stronger, more positive relationship, making the experience less stressful for both the pet and the owner.
About: Hi! My name is Bridgette, and I’ve been caring for animals for over 20 years. In addition to working for a boarding facility in the area I am the go to pet sitter for friends and family. I have extensive hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and other small animals, including senior pets and those with special needs. Through years of caring for animals I’ve developed a deep understanding of animal behavior, health, and wellness. I know how to recognize signs of stress or illness, introduce pets safely to new environments, and create a calm, comfortable atmosphere for even the most anxious pets. I understand that every animal is unique, and I’m committed to providing personalized, compassionate care that helps them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I treat every dog like my own! I am currently very open in my schedule. I am available days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Whether it is drops ins for a walk or doing a combined dog and house sitting I am available. When I am caring for a pet I devote 100% of my energy to them, whether that be playing fetch in the yard, going for walks, or even just hanging out with them and letting them chill out. I do whatever your furry friend prefers. I do not have any animals at home right now so having an animal who doesn't like fellow pets is no problem.

“Kimberlee and her family loved our dog as if he were their own. They even gave us some training tops for our young dog. I will return again and again for such excellent care!”

“Michaela did an amazing job watching our fur-baby, Holly. She sent pictures and provided updates; she had amazing communication! I was afraid to leave Holly with a “stranger”, however, Holly loved staying with Michaela! And we felt completely at ease after meeting Michaela, she loves all animals. I cannot stress enough how great the experience was with Michaela, we will definitely be using her in the future! If you need somebody to love your spoiled pup while on vacation, I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to contact Michaela, you will not regret it!!”

“Pam was wonderful! Very sweet and loving to my boys. Large yard for sniffing and running around which is paradise for them! Pam was so flexible on drop off/pick up times and always kept me updated on how my dogs were doing. Will definitely take them back for more fun!”

About: I’ve had dogs in my home since I was 7 years old, caring and loving for small to large dogs, across all ages. I am a proud parent of a 11 lb Chizer and work from home, which allows me to care for your dog throughout the day. My dog gets along with all sized dogs and loves buddies to play with, so your dog will not be alone. I work full time from home and will be around your dog at all times as we never leave our own dog alone. I am able to care for your dog during the weekend as well, as schedules permit. I have a small fenced area to allow your dog to play freely off leash. I also have a huge unfenced yard to take your dog for breaks and to walk around. Food and any medication will be provided per your guidance. Please let me know if your dog has any medical issues in advance so I can care for him/her appropriately.
About: I have a Belgian Malanois who’s name is Beau. He is an Extremely passionate and caring dog with a high drive to learn. I have put In the time and effort to train and build our relationship as a family. I also have a Golden retriever and she couldn’t care less about anything other than love haha. I have a full time job, which ends at 2:00pm. From 2:00pm until bed I spend with my dog whether it be training, or walking. I spend a minimum of 2 hours a day training with Beau. I believe that your dog can fit right in and be in a comfortable, safe, home away from home. I do not have a fenced in yard yet but I’m outside every time my pups go out. If need be, I have leashes I can use to let your pup outside as well.
