“Lindsay was awesome. I needed a last minute sitter for my dog for a few hours and Lindsay responded very quickly. Our dog was instantly comfortable with Lindsay and appeared to have a great time playing with the other dogs. Would highly recommend! Thanks Lindsay!”

“Jackson’s stay with Chris seemed to be a good fit. Chris reported he was a little anxious at first with the other (small) dogs but adapted after a little while. Chris had the ability to separate the dogs if needed. We feel like Chris did a good job of helping Jackson through this experience.”

“I’ve been bringing my dog, Mykonos, to Lynn for daycare, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provides. Every morning, he gets so excited to go back, which says everything about how comfortable and happy he feels with her. He comes home calm and content, showing no signs of stress or anxiety. It gives me real peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. Lynn clearly cares deeply for the dogs she looks after, and I’m grateful for the warm, safe environment she provides.”

“Michaela did a wonderful job caring for our crazy 3 month old puppy. He was very tired and calm when we picked him up. We also appreciate how flexible she was. We hope to contract her again in the future for day care. Highly recommended!!!”

“Friendly, kind, great communication! Christina watched Scout while I was in town for the afternoon. Scout was happy and tuckered out when I picked her up. Thanks Christina!!”

“Wonderful doggy daycare experience. Brock had a great time hanging out with his two new buddies and loved roaming around the beautiful garden. Emily was a great communicator and sent the sweetest updates. Would book again in a heartbeat. Thanks y’all!”

About: I am a mom who LOVES dogs! I love to go for walks, play in the yard, play catch, give treats and cuddle with all dogs. I have been dog sitting and walking for over 15 years and I have had a dog in my home my entire life. I have two doggies. One 5-year-old Golden Doodle and a 8-month old Bernedoodle that LOVES everyone - other dogs, kids, and cats! I am good at administering medications. My daughter and I are diabetics so we are well-versed in medical needs! I am very good at training if you would like your dog to learn to sit, stay or shake! We treat our fur-babies like they are a part of the family. I would love to take care of your special fur-baby!
“She was wonderful with Cliff!! He’s always so excited to see his friends! She sends lots of pictures throughout the day too, which I love! He’s always having so much fun!”

“Once again, Jamie took great care of my min pin doggie! He is so comfortable with her, and her dog is very hospitable too. I will always call Jamie whenever I am in South Bend!”

“Justin was AMAZING in taking care of our 2 fur babies while we were in town for vacation. My black lab, who is very shy, warmed up to him right away which I knew was a very good indicator that they were in good hands. I will be using him from now on whenever I am in town.”

“I don’t think I can say enough good about Haley and Pierce. Pierce is the perfect combination of laid back and playful. He patiently tolerated her initial over-excitement and then ran and played “chase” with her at the beautiful park where Haley took them. Haley was friendly and professional, providing frequent updates and photos. I will most definitely be using Haley again!”

“Kimberlee and her husband (and their son) were all great with LiLi! LiLi was already playing with their sweet and very friendly dog, Odie, when I was leaving. I got lots of pictures and communication throughout the day. I was happy to see a blur where LiLi’s tail would have been. 😂 She had so much fun. I highly recommend Kimberlee and her family and definitely will use them again!!”

“My husband was traveling several trips to the Bristol area for business. There are not any options for dog daycare with a national chain so I found Josie & Michael on here. The BEST dogsitters we have ever had for Jr. They treated him just like he was their pet plus every morning, he would almost shake his tail off when he would see Josie at the door. So if you live in the Bristol area or traveling there, please check out Josie & Michael for your fur baby sitter.”
“Day is an awesome sitter! I gave her instructions and things to look out for with my chiweenie Willar and Day was very attentive. My pup was very comfortable with Day and enjoyed her company.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Granger
Kat was great. LiLi was a little hesitant when she saw Solo because she’s not accustomed to seeing dogs bigger than her. But, it only took a few minutes before she joined him in a game of “chase” in Kay’s spacious backyard. When Kat’s other dog, Chewie, ran out to join the fun, all three played together very well. I was very comfortable leaving LiLi with Kat.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
