“Chris is completely prepared and equipped to take great care of any dog. Left my Vinny for daycare with Chris. He was attentive to his introduction to the other dogs, fed, and well cuddled. I feel perfectly comfortable leaving my little guy with Chris, and will definitely call him again when we are in town.”

“We needed daycare for our dog while in town on business. Josie’s name came up and her reviews were glowing so we booked with her. I can attest that every review is true. Josie took as good of care of Winston as I do. She played with him, took him on walks and loved on him. She thought enough about him and us to send pictures. We will be back in Elkhart in April and Josie will be who we make an appt with. I can’t recommend her enough. Five stars are not enough, wish there were ten!”

About: I have a two dogs and a cat. I've fostered for different rescues in the area and can provide references upon request. We've had every type of pup here and haven't ever had to turn one away. I have areas separated by gates for our cat friends to feel secure and rest if needed. I have two litter boxes, one on each level. My pup is Ollie, a yellow lab born around 2014. He was a rescue from Homeward Bound animal shelter and is the best boy! Paddy (Padfoot), my Labradooodle was born around 2021 and has such a sweet disposition! He was also adopted from Homeward Bound. I've also fostered dogs through SBARC and for Homeward bound. I love helping our furry friends feel comfortable and loved.

“I can’t say how impressed I am with Tammie. I was visiting family and am from Iowa, Tammie was more then accommodating and welcoming. I could tell she likes what she does and cares about her canine clients. Her home is set up for the dogs and, even with multiple dogs, stays clean. My Corgi was comfortable right way. I used Tammies daycare twice, the second time my Corgi couldn’t wait to get in the door. I will be using Tammie services whenever I visit, no question about it!”

“We brought our two Papillons to Betty yesterday for a day of companionship and exercise. They tend to be fearful of dogs and people, so we were a little concerned about leaving our babies! Betty introduced herself and her 4 little dogs to our boys and everyone was fine! They had a wonderful day and slept like logs all night. I highly recommend Betty and will return in the future when we are back in Elkhart.”

About: I've been a pet mom of a few dogs and cats Throughout my whole life. I have two little dogs that I walk around my neighborhood. I work a full time 40 hours a week 8 hrs a day shift for a place I've been working at for over 20 years. I have a fenced in yard for them to play around in. I live in a nice neighborhood where plenty of people walk their dogs around. When I'm not home all animal are put in a cage. I am working a full time job. My family and I make sure the animals are well taken care of and all their needs are met. Even though I work full time I am particular about when I take my personal vacation trying to make sure I am always available around holidays and kids school breaks so that the family's can enjoy time together knowing their pets are in good care. I have a fenced in yard depending on the weather we will spend quality time outside playing. We also enjoy going for walks around the neighborhood.

Sarah was very accommodating and responsive throughout the entire process, from the initial inquiry to the drop-off and pick-up of my dog. When I arrived at Sarah's home to drop off my dog, she was friendly and welcoming. She took the time to get to know him and his needs, and I could tell that she genuinely cared about his well-being. Her home was clean and well-organized, and she had set up a comfortable and safe space for him to stay in. Throughout my trip, Sarah provided me with regular updates and photos of my dog, which I really appreciated. It was clear that he was happy and well-cared for during his stay with her. When I returned to pick him up, he was relaxed and content, which is always a good sign! Overall, I would highly recommend Sarah for anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter. Her home is clean and safe, and she clearly loves animals. I will definitely be using her services again in the future!”

About: I got my first dog when I was 8. I love all animals but especially dogs. I now have two dogs who I take care of! I’m in school, so I have limited time during the week. I’m mostly free Friday afternoons and weekends. On certain weeks I am available week days. I am very open in the way that I care for dogs. This varies between the owners wishes and the dogs needs that I can adapt to.

About: I have been around dogs my entire life! I am looking for more experience with animals. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats at home that I love and adore with my whole heart. I enjoy brushing my dogs and cats at home and exercise with them. I am very flexible with my schedule during the week and am free almost every weekend! I am definitely an animal lover! I love to take long walks and play outside with animals for keeping them on a healthy lifestyle.
