“Faith and her Family are great! I’ve felt so comfortable leaving my fur babies with them! The photos and videos I got daily showed how much they enjoyed and cared for them while they were there. I will definitely keep faith as my go to when I need a pup sitter!”

“10 stars! My dog has never stayed in a strangers home like this so I was apprehensive, but she did awesome. Lindsay‘s home is so welcoming and it’s obvious she takes great care for the dogs with a lot of mindfulness. Great communication and updates. It was more pricey than what I’m used to with her boarding/daycare but it was worth every penny! She even sent her home with a little gift and she was just so tickled pink with it.”

“Pam did a great job taking care of my pup and gave me daily updates during my trip. I could tell she cared a lot about my pup and accommodated to her needs!”

“Emily was amazing! Gigi had the best time with Emily and her other pups while I was out of town. I appreciated how communicative Emily was during Gigi’s stay, especially because she sent so many pictures and videos of Gigi. I was so happy with how much fun Gigi was having. I’ll definitely book her again!”

“We love Kevin! This was the 3rd time our bernedoodle puppy stayed with him and he had just been neutered 3 days beforehand but we knew he would be in good hands. Kevin administered the medications and also followed all of the instructions as far as activity level and play. He even ended up having to use a baby gate to ensure safety! We are greatly appreciative of Kevin!”

“Fantastic! She took great in-home care of our high energy pups who usually struggle with separation anxiety - they did not! They were happy and well adjusted when we returned. She even replaced their treats - above and beyond. Thank you!”

“Leigh Anne was wonderful to take in both of our huge pups. She communicated well from the initial request, to the meet n' greet, drop off, during their stay, and pick-up. I'd highly recommend her!”

“Cinthia did an amazing job caring for my cats! she immediately communicated with me about how they were adjusting, sent photos, and was very friendly and easygoing when I reached out on short notice. My cats loved her and her kids!”

About: I have always grew up around dogs in my home and friends, family home. My grandma used to foster dogs and she taught me a lot I know about them including but not limited to administering shots and medications. I currently work full-time. However, the dog door and fenced in yard allows your dog to be out and roam freely while I am away. I am also okay to crate your dog if that is what you would prefer. When I get home it's usually clean, play, and dinner time. As the night goes on its movies and cuddles. I have a fenced in yard and a doggy door to let your dog(s) run around outside and play during the day freely as wanted. I love to take walks in the nice weather with the dogs and play fetch out in the yard. I have an indoor camera and outdoors cameras to keep eyes when I'm not home.

“Michaela did an amazing job watching our fur-baby, Holly. She sent pictures and provided updates; she had amazing communication! I was afraid to leave Holly with a “stranger”, however, Holly loved staying with Michaela! And we felt completely at ease after meeting Michaela, she loves all animals. I cannot stress enough how great the experience was with Michaela, we will definitely be using her in the future! If you need somebody to love your spoiled pup while on vacation, I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to contact Michaela, you will not regret it!!”

About: Hi there!! I love both dogs and cats, and look forward to taking care of them. I've had many pets growing up. Habló Español también. As of right now I am available and flexible on time as school is out. I have been trying to find a second job, and would much rather prefer this to be my 2nd job as I enjoy going on runs with my dog and hanging out with my furbabies (I also have 2 cats). Why not make money while having fun and meeting new furbabies? I live near downtown Elkhart (heading towards Bristol). I live in a very safe and quiet neighborhood where there is plenty of space to walk, run, and enjoy a large field of grass (if allowed to be off leash).
“Edna was AMAZING! I have 2 senior doxies and 1 has very bad eye sight. She took her time with them especially my doxie with the bad eye sight who moves slow. I recommend her to anyone and will rebook with her again. She was also nice to provide pictures and updates while they were staying with her. That was nice.”

“Kyle watched both my dogs for a late spring break trip. I booked him a little last minute and he was readily available for help answering any questions or concerns before and after our booking. He even offered to meet up before to see how my dogs interacted with his. He sent me a few pictures and provided daily updates on their behavior. I would book him again.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
