âMy little Delilah felt right at home when we had our Meet and Greet. I had no concerns about leaving her with Madelyn after that. She was still excited to see me when I picked her up, but not so excited that I worried she wanted to leave and had a bad time. I have no doubts that Delilah was well cared for while I was away!!â
âThanks so much for scheduling the meet & greet. And most of all, taking care of my fur baby Zoe. So happy she did so well. Really excited about finding such a great fur mom!! You are so appreciated?â¤ď¸ The photos and updates were so very thoughtful and truly beautiful from such a kind soul!â

âApril was great! From one sitter to another I appreciated her experience, professionalism and care. My dogs had a great time with her, and I had peace of mind knowing my mischievous beagles were in good hands!â

âWe canât thank Debra & Michael enough for taking the best care of our Emme girl! I could tell from the minute I met them how amazing they were. I couldnât have found a better couple to take care of our girl. Thank you so much!!! â¤ď¸â

âOmg loved her! She was awesome. She kept me updated daily with pictures and my catâs activities. I will use her again!!! I was scared to leave my catâs with a stranger but she made it so comfortable.â

âWe have FINALLY found the PERFECT fur baby sitter. Judy and her husband Bob cared for our mini schnauzer Jasper with such warmth and kindness that it was truly like he was their own. Their experience of loving their own pups in the past was evident from the get go. We canât sing their praises loud enough. Jasper didnât come home stressed or exhausted. He was GENUINELY happy while with Judy and Bob. We knew he was safe, comfortable and in good hands. Please donât hesitate if considering booking a stay for your pet with such a loving, kind couple. We will definitely be rebooking again and again. Thank you Judy & Bob!â

âMy dog had a great time with Erin and Eric. He got the luxury treatment, getting to go to the dog park every day! He was exhausted when we brought him home, which was awesome- a tired dog is a happy dog. Thanks so much for taking care of our fur baby!â

âWonderful dog sitter! John took great care of my dog for two nights and made sure my pup was happy and comfortable. I felt completely at ease while I was away. Highly recommend!â

About: Iâve had dogs my whole life and love all breeds. We truly donât deserve them. My soul dog, Abo, passed away 1.5 years ago and I have been watching and walking dogs for extra money ever since. Iâm a college professor working a very flexible schedule and Iâd love to walk or watch your dog! I live on the east side of Beverly Shores and also have a place in the city đ. Iâm down to house sit or watch them at my place. I have local references and would love to meet your dog if I havenât already đ Iâm teaching part-time this term, so I have plenty of time to walk your dogs, give them some love, tell them they are good dogs, get some fresh air, exercise and sunshine. âď¸ When I board a dog it is all about them! They are basically on vacation having the best time and getting all the attention and affection they want. đ
About: I have had a lot of experience since my teens and I continue to have a constant bond with animals. My newest edition is a Bern doodle. I have a wonderful home for your fur babies and sometimes watch my fur grandbabies also . So they can have interaction with them and me . I can basically offer services of your needs just let me know what your baby loves and I can agree to almost agree with anything to make them happy and comfortable.
âI was very excited to find Mila. We had decided to make an extended vacation stay in New Buffalo, MI and found that the hotel would not accept our dog. Using Rover, we found Mila 10 miles away and boarded our pup with her. She sent pics of Sascha on walks and chilling out- it was perfect. Will definitely hook up again next time we are in MI. Thanks again, Mila!!â

âJasmine was such a life in accepting my booking request at last minute. I had to leave for outta . She took very well of shadow. Treated him like a baby which he loves btw. Made him feel very comfortable. No issues at all. I would recommend her again.â

About: I've been taking care of dogs & cats my entire life. I have experience as a vet assistant. Animals are my passion and not only do I love providing a loving home for my animals but I also know how hard it is to balance work and life in general when you have pets so I want to be able to care and help you with your fur babies as well! I'm currently only working part time so I have a lot of free time to care for your fur babies ! My schedule is pretty open so on my days off I can take last minute requests . I also enjoy being outdoors even if it's just sitting in the backyard with the dogs I have a fenced in yard with a loving yellow Labrador ! Your pup will have fun and will stay safe with plenty of exercise! I do not go on walks without a leash or without your consent.
About: I've always had pets. I've had a dog every year of my life since I was born. I love their different personalities, breeds and interactions. I currently have 3 of my own, Bentley, Bailey and Scooby-Doo. Each of them is different from the other and I wouldn't change any of them. I am available currently Friday-Sunday. I have pets of my own and we play and exercise together. I love animals so much, I enjoy helping and playing with others. I have a small fenced in area for little dogs, which is where all 3 dogs of mine are. All 3 are playful and friendly.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Roverâs reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
