“This was my first time using Rover and I am so grateful I found Juliana. I was so nervous leaving my baby in the care of anyone for the first time on an extended stay. Juliana took such good care of my Benito! Her communication was great and you can tell she truly is an animal lover. I would definitely recommend her! Thank you for caring for my Benito! 🫶🏽🐈⬛”

“I highly recommend Giannina's house for dog boarding! My furry friend had an amazing stay and received top-notch care. Giannina's warm and welcoming home provided a comfortable and safe environment for my dog to relax and have fun. Communication was seamless, and I appreciated the regular updates. Thank you, Giannina, for giving my dog a home away from home!”

“Iman was AMAZING, my Colin enjoyed himself thoroughly. She was so good with him. Iman kept us informed daily about what Colin was doing. She sent pictures and videos of all the activities. Colin generally does not play with other dogs but while with Iman, he seemed to truly enjoy himself. Iman was soo gracious and understanding with us as we were a bit late with our pickup time. I have to say this experience was GREAT. I have used boarding facilities and doggie hotels in the past and my Colin has never had this much fun, all the photos and videos showed that he was having an awesome time. I absolutely recommend Iman for your furry baby, she is well trained and knows how to take good care of furrbaby.”

“Danielle is fantastic! She came to pick up and drop off our little girl. Rosie was so sad to see her go! She sent photos and videos throughout the day and answered all of our questions. Rosie was exhausted and slept the next 24 hours straight after playing with other pups for a few days. We will definitely be contacting Danielle again!”

“I’m so glad I found David to watch my Sam. We are new to the area and I haven’t traveled in awhile. David is very responsive, conscientious and communicative. He sent lots of pictures and updates, let me know how Sam was getting along with his dogs. Sam has a knee injury right now and he kept an eye on it for me, too. We’ve already got a second stay booked.”

She constantly kept me updated with pictures and it looked like my Bella had so much fun. I met Joy at my sons’s school trunk or treat event and I’m so happy I got her card! Maple was with Joy for 2 weeks. Her family was wonderful during the meet and greet. Joy sent me photos of Maple everyday, and I can see him smiling and loved. She was very helpful, responsive, and professional while setting up Maples stay too. Highly recommended!

Stephanie is a one of the best sitters I’ve ever met! She cared for my pup as if he was her own. She took my pup to a vet appointment when he wasn’t feeling well and also gave him his necessary meds! I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! Thanks again for everything🫶🏾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
