About: I’ve taken care of my own dog and cat for 7 years and before then was the go to sitter for all my friends with pets! I’m also a PhD student in psychology working in animal behaviors. Since young, I understand animals and respect them: how we treat them influences their behaviors. I’ve got the heart and the training to give your babies the best care they deserve when you are away! My schedule is flexible as long as we communicate in advance. My weekdays are mostly spent at home for academic work, and can adjust for drop in visits easily. I have a comfy apartment with one dog and one cat. They’ll keep your baby company if you board with us. About: I’ve been a dog owner for many years, and my 15-year-old Pomeranian is a very special part of our family. He has been with us for so long that I honestly can’t imagine our home without him. I’m also a mom of three, so we have a busy but loving family home where pets are very much part of everyday life. My kids love dogs, and we’re used to having a furry member of the family around. Having a senior dog has taught me to be patient and pay attention to the little things. I know that older dogs sometimes need a little more rest, more frequent potty breaks, and extra care and attention. We also travel to Egypt and Serbia every year, and my Pomeranian has flown overseas with me many times. I know how much work it can be to travel with a dog, and I also know how hard it is to leave them behind. That’s actually one of the reasons I decided to offer boarding. I’ve had to leave my own dog with people I trusted, and even then, I knew he acted differently because I wasn’t there. I remember wondering if he was okay, if he was comfortable, and if someone was giving him the same attention I would. So when your dog stays with me, I want you to feel comfortable too. I’ll get to know your dog’s routine, personality, feeding schedule and what makes them happy and comfortable. I’ll keep you updated with pictures so you don’t have to wonder how they’re doing. We have a fenced backyard, and I’ll take dogs for daily walks on the beautiful 2-mile path around Stellwagen Farm, which is only a few minutes from our home. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone. To me, they’re not just a booking or another dog staying at my house. They’re someone’s family — just like my Pomeranian is part of mine. I’m a stay-at-home mom and am available pretty much all the time, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I provide a safe, loving home with a fenced backyard,and a finished basement. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m available most of the time and can give your dog lots of attention throughout the day. I also have a senior Pomeranian, so I understand the importance of patience and making sure every dog feels comfortable.

“My wife and I recently rescued a puppy after making travel plans months earlier. Because our puppy Sophie was still too young for full vaccinations, we were not able to board her with a doggy daycare, and we didn’t have any friends or family available to care for her during our trip. We used Rover to find Teresa, and were grateful that we did. We met with her about 2 weeks before our trip, so she and our puppy could meet. The first meeting went well, and we were confident with our choice to have her take care our puppy during that visit. While Teresa had Sophie, she sent us regular updates, photos, and video of her playing and being happy. She helped reinforce the commands that were working on and assisted with continued leash and potty training. Sophie had a great time with Teresa, her dog Ollie, and grand-dog Dunkin. We are very happy with our experience and extremely grateful to Teresa. About: Hi! I’m a 29-year-old lifelong dog lover, and caring for dogs has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve never gone a day without dogs in my home since I was 3 years old! I grew up with two Rottweilers, then two German Shepherds. Having experience with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and making every dog feel safe and loved. I recently said goodbye to my senior dog, which made me appreciate even more how special the bond between people and their pets truly is. I understand that dogs are family, and I would treat your fur baby with the same love, attention, and care that I give my own. My dogs are friendly and enjoy being around other dogs, and I’m happy to help provide a comfortable environment for pups who enjoy canine companionship. I live in a three-bedroom apartment with plenty of indoor space for dogs to relax, play, and feel at home. I also understand that some dogs may need their own space or may be more comfortable staying separate from other pets. If you have any concerns about your dog needing separation, I have crates and additional rooms available to help keep them safe, comfortable, and relaxed while in my care. I also work just 3 minutes from home, so getting back quickly if needed is never a problem! I walk my dogs 3–4 times a day: before work, after work, after dinner, and before bed. After work, I come straight home to walk and feed them, and 9 times out of 10, I’m bringing home treats for them, too! 🐾 Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine, and I make sure every dog receives plenty of love, attention, exercise, and care. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and potty breaks.
