“April is incredible. She was so patient with my dog, Mari who is a very nervous girl. She gave me updates all along the way and sent me photos. 10/10 would recommend!!!”

About: I have over 10 plus experience of taking care of my cat, family cat and family dog (yellow beagle). I love to play, spend quality time, and do whatever they love to do best (walks, cuddles, and play!). I currently work full-time but I would love to spend time with your furry friend anytime after 5pm-8pm. I love going on afternoon walks and enjoying the outdoors. Open line of communication is important to ensure safe entry/exit of home. I am open to sending pictures of your furry friend and confirming that they are safe in home when I exit.
“Jenna is the best! Nice peace of mind to have her check in on the dogs while we are out of town and she always accomodates their needs and our schedule, and keeps us updated with visits and pictures.”
“Cailin was SO good with my little girl Kona. I was hesitant about using an app for something like this, but Cailin made it so easy! I was updated when she got there, during the visit, and when she left. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!”

“Taryn did an amazing job with Dipper. She made sure he did his business outside and calmed him down. Dipper is not used to new people, but she got him to warm up to her very easily. If I need someone to watch him again I would definitely hire her.-”

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life, from my friends to family all having different breeds of dogs! I am very active, so dogs with lots of energy and needing lots of walks are no problem for me! I have dog sit before. I have a love for all animals and whatever comes with them. I am currently working a summer job, mainly all day, but I have no problem waking up early to walk a pet before work or after work, even during lunch! My weekends are normally always free! And Fridays I can tend to the pet more due to having half days. I do not offer services at my house due to having cats who are shy. But in my clients home I will do anything they need me to do regarding their pet. It is my job to make sure their furry baby is in the best hands!
“Crystal was awesome. We had a last minute trip come up and we needed a sitter. I found Crystal and reached out. Very professional, organized and communicative. Will definitely look to book with Crystal again in the future when we take a trip. Thank you Crystal!!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Saint John with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
