About: Hello, I'm Katie! I helped my mom run a cat rescue for over 8 years (that includes waking up every 2 hours to bottle feed, giving medication, handling moody kitties, cleaning up constant messes, etc). Since then, I've been trusted to pet sit for friends, coworkers, and family members. I have more experience house sitting with cats than dogs, but I love all pets equally and would be so happy to meet them! I offer overnight stays/house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking. I am currently pet sitting full time. I am available on weekdays and weekends however early or late as needed, and for as many drop-ins as needed. My schedule is very flexible! The care and safety of your pet is the most important thing to me. I make sure to keep human food out of reach along with plastic bags, cords, or other potentially harmful items. I always try to keep pets entertained, happy, and out of trouble. I am a very clean person and will never leave a mess behind, I can assure your home will be well looked after. I can provide photo or text updates as often as needed!

About: I enjoy spending time caring for animals, especially dogs. I love going on walks, playing, and making sure pets feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away! I’m currently a college student at Indiana University Northwest, and with summer here I have a much more flexible schedule. While I do work a part time job, I’m still able to make multiple visits throughout the day to give your pup plenty of attention, care, walks, and playtime! I provide a safe and caring environment whether your dog stays in my home or I care for them in yours. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time, and dogs will always be leashed on walks. “Lauren was amazing! I felt so comfortable having her in my home. She gave me peace of mind that my cat was not alone and well taken care of while I was out of town working. Would recommend and use her again.”

“Riley did an amazing job checking in on our pup Charlie. She came over and met us ahead of time, sent us updates and pictures, and was very flexible. It really put our mind at ease to know Charlie was well taken care of. We plan on using her again in the future!”
“Danielle cuddled with my babies and it was definitely nap time because they were monkeys earlier!! I think they’re going to get warmed up to her right away. They are a good little bunch, but I’m sure they will test her too. So far / so good!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
