About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and care for their pets while they’re away. I understand that every dog has different needs, whether that’s an energetic walk, extra patience, or plenty of love and attention. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and will always treat your pet like they’re my own. I’ll make sure they get the exercise, care, and affection they deserve while keeping you updated with photos and messages after every visit. Pets aren’t just pets to me they’re family. Spending time with them genuinely brings me happiness, and nothing is more rewarding than seeing a wagging tail and a happy pup. I’m available for evening walks and weekends, and my goal is to make every walk safe, fun, and full of attention, play, and care. I’ll treat your dog like they’re my own, so you can feel confident they’re in loving, reliable hands. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow your care instructions, keep dogs securely leashed during walks, and pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings. I’ll provide plenty of love, exercise, and updates with photos so you can feel confident your pet is in caring and reliable hands.
About: Hello, I'm Katie! I helped my mom run a cat rescue for over 8 years (that includes waking up every 2 hours to bottle feed, giving medication, handling moody kitties, cleaning up constant messes, etc). Since then, I've been trusted to pet sit for friends, coworkers, and family members. I have more experience house sitting with cats than dogs, but I love all pets equally and would be so happy to meet them! I offer overnight stays/house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking. I am currently pet sitting full time. I am available on weekdays and weekends however early or late as needed, and for as many drop-ins as needed. My schedule is very flexible! The care and safety of your pet is the most important thing to me. I make sure to keep human food out of reach along with plastic bags, cords, or other potentially harmful items. I always try to keep pets entertained, happy, and out of trouble. I am a very clean person and will never leave a mess behind, I can assure your home will be well looked after. I can provide photo or text updates as often as needed!

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 5. I have had 2 dogs in my life time and I just really love animals. I have a lot of experience taking care of animals. I have a pretty open schedule and available a lot. My schedule is pretty open and I will have lots of time to take care of your animals. I take pride in making sure I have time for animals because they are very important for me. I make sure that whenever I am taking care of a dog or cat they are supervised and especially if they are outside. I will also make sure they have water and food and they use the bathroom regularly.

About: I enjoy spending time caring for animals, especially dogs. I love going on walks, playing, and making sure pets feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away! I’m currently a college student at Indiana University Northwest, and with summer here I have a much more flexible schedule. While I do work a part time job, I’m still able to make multiple visits throughout the day to give your pup plenty of attention, care, walks, and playtime! I provide a safe and caring environment whether your dog stays in my home or I care for them in yours. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time, and dogs will always be leashed on walks. I’ll make sure your pup stays on their routine with fresh food and water, regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention!

About: My experience has been mostly my family and friends. I have taken their animals on walks, bathed them, fed them, played with them. Took them to parks and even trained them on new skills. Since I just graduated I have very open availability and ready to help. I am very organized and dependable, I value time management, my career/education, and most importantly taking care of people and animals. I am currently waiting for the new school year to roll around and continue my education so my schedule is free. I wake up early to work out but that time can be flexible depending on if I have a pet to watch. I keep the animals on the schedule they are used to. Feed them, fill water, walks, clean behind them, playtime, medicine if they need. Also litter box maintenance for cats. Also making sure we’re safe in the house and my phone near me to contact the owners if needed.
“Alix was awesome! She was very communicative during my work trip and sent some really sweet pictures too! My Dottie looked more excited to see her than she is to see me sometimes 😂 absolutely would recommend Alix to anyone needing assistance with their pets! Thank you, Alix!”

About: I have been taking care of animals from a very young age. I had a variety of pets growing up including dogs, cats, a lizard, guinea pigs, and a chinese dwarf hamster. I have experience taking care of family members’ and friends’ dogs and cats while away or on vacation. I’m attentive, detail-oriented, and comfortable caring for pets of all ages. I treat every pet like my own and provide consistent, loving care while keeping owners updated for peace of mind. I’m currently in between jobs, so I have extra availability! I should be available any time you need me, but I will let you know otherwise. I will treat your animals like my own, and they will be under great care! I’m an animal lover and animals love me too!
“Debbie was fantastic. Looks like our miniature golden doodle “Princess” adopted Debbie. The picture of Princess laying on the couch with Debbie by her says it all. I highly recommend her and will ask for her again.”

“Lauren was amazing! I felt so comfortable having her in my home. She gave me peace of mind that my cat was not alone and well taken care of while I was out of town working. Would recommend and use her again.”

About: I provide dependable dog walking and drop-in services focused on keeping your pets safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet’s care. I have two large dogs of my own, ages 7 and 9, so I’m very familiar with handling bigger breeds, different energy levels, and daily routines. Whether your pet needs a quick check-in, a potty break, or a longer walk to burn off energy, I’m committed to giving them the attention and care they deserve. I work full-time during the day M-F, but I’m available for dog walks and drop-in visits in the evenings and on weekends. I’m happy to help provide reliable care during those times to fit your schedule and your pet’s needs. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by sticking closely to their normal routines and home environment. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions carefully including feeding, fresh water, walks, litter box or yard clean up, and plenty of attention and playtime based on your pet’s personality. I always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and clear communication, so you can feel confident your pet is well cared for while you’re away.
About: I've had cats, dogs (mostly German Shepherds) and horses as pets since I was 7. I am in grad school and have a flexible work schedule so I have lots of time to play with your pet and give them all the love and attention they desire! “Riley did an amazing job checking in on our pup Charlie. She came over and met us ahead of time, sent us updates and pictures, and was very flexible. It really put our mind at ease to know Charlie was well taken care of. We plan on using her again in the future!”
About: I have had experience working in the kennels at a dog training center for two years now. While there I fed, administered medicine, walked and watched over the dogs as well as clean their kennels. I was also interning the dog trainers helping with classes and shadowing private lessons as well as helping with training with the dogs who stay for training. I have two dogs at home which I walk and train daily. I am capable at handling bigger and more rambunctious dogs being at the dog training center and am well aware of precautions to take with the dogs who may not be so cool with humans. I love working with animals and plan to continue in the future. Feel free to ask any questions! I work part time and am a full time student. I have large gaps in the middle of my day to do near by walks and I have weekend availability I walk and play with my dogs at home. I also train my lab and help my dad with more advanced training with my German Shepard. The German Shepard is trained in scent detection, bite work, and other advanced training. I have experience with walking all types of dogs through this app and through my kennel experience in the past years.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
