“Even though my cat Edison was more interested in Kayla as the bringer of food and stuffing his face; The couple times he decided to not scarf down his food he enjoyed her company and the pets. Kayla also made sure to clean up his messes and had clean water.”

“Alexia was beyond awesome!!! Even though she was 23 miles away we chose her because she was 10/10 with her response rate. Over and beyond that she accomodated us with last minute changes and a 3am pick up time since we were driving back to chicago late. Throughout, she kept sending photos and videos and updates. I was so nervous leaving my cat but Alexia made my trip so relaxed and comfortable. I al an extrenely picky/ nervous pet parent so one can imagine how much it takes to ease my mind but Alexia totally relaxed me and the entire family for the 4 days we were out of town. Highly highly recommend her!!! I will be using only Alexia for my future travels- shes that awesome!!”

How many people do you know take in a dog they barely know while the owner is deployed, so that dog can still have a sense of consistency and love- Allie did. She knows how to love and care for dogs that most people won’t ever understand. She truly has a way to bond with them and you can always see the joy on her face and theirs!”

About: I have had experience working in the kennels at a dog training center for two years now. While there I fed, administered medicine, walked and watched over the dogs as well as clean their kennels. I was also interning the dog trainers helping with classes and shadowing private lessons as well as helping with training with the dogs who stay for training. I have two dogs at home which I walk and train daily. I am capable at handling bigger and more rambunctious dogs being at the dog training center and am well aware of precautions to take with the dogs who may not be so cool with humans. I love working with animals and plan to continue in the future. Feel free to ask any questions! I work part time and am a full time student. I have large gaps in the middle of my day to do near by walks and I have weekend availability I walk and play with my dogs at home. I also train my lab and help my dad with more advanced training with my German Shepard. The German Shepard is trained in scent detection, bite work, and other advanced training. I have experience with walking all types of dogs through this app and through my kennel experience in the past years.

About: I’ve helped take care of pets during overnight stays babysitting children. I have also helped friends and family while they were on vacation. I currently work from home and would love to get out of the house more and have a furry friend to join me! I currently have a micro bakery from my home in Hammond. I am flexible during the week to give your pet a walk or stop in for a home visit. Some weekends I am also available. I have no pets currently at my home, but have had many pets throughout my life. I will give your pet all the pets and snuggles. I will also follow any directions you give me diligently to ensure you are comfortable and to make this experience great for your pet.

“Irene is great! My kitty is diabetic and needs her blood sugar tested and insulin injections 2x/day. She also had a skin irritation that needed to be cleaned and bandaged twice a day. Irene did it all and took great care of my baby while I was gone.”
