About: Hello, I'm Katie! I helped my mom run a cat rescue for over 8 years (that includes waking up every 2 hours to bottle feed, giving medication, handling moody kitties, cleaning up constant messes, etc). Since then, I've been trusted to pet sit for friends, coworkers, and family members. I have more experience house sitting with cats than dogs, but I love all pets equally and would be so happy to meet them! I offer overnight stays/house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking. I am currently pet sitting full time. I am available on weekdays and weekends however early or late as needed, and for as many drop-ins as needed. My schedule is very flexible! The care and safety of your pet is the most important thing to me. I make sure to keep human food out of reach along with plastic bags, cords, or other potentially harmful items. I always try to keep pets entertained, happy, and out of trouble. I am a very clean person and will never leave a mess behind, I can assure your home will be well looked after. We've had him to sit for our Rhodesian ridgeback and our Staffy twice, for 4 days and 10 days, respectively, and we have both times come back to 2 happy and healthy dogs, who looked at us like we had only been gone a short while. He had mixed in their favorite food toppers and given them their medicine as we asked. He is a kind person, and you can tell he thinks deeply about things, and people's and pets' feelings. He is as the proverb says, a good traveler who leaves no mark, leaving our house exactly as, if not better than, he found it. About: I’ve grown up in a house with 2 cats and 2 dogs my whole life and often house sit for my friends dogs. I’m used to big dogs and also high energy dogs being that I have one of each.
