I currently care for my three dogs—Nala, Sage, and Willow—and have experience with feeding, walking, playtime, basic puppy care, and giving each dog the patience and attention they deserve. “We would 1000% recommend Katie. Katie was kind patient with one of our dogs that takes a little while to warm up to new people, even making a couple trips out to take her on walks before we left. During our time away, a new medical issue came up for our elderly dog. Katie was amazing at communicating with us, taking her to the vet for us, helping 3 way call with the vet while she was there and keeping a watchful eye on her until we could return home. We found our house exactly how we left it, everything tidy and clean. We hands-down will be using Katie again knowing that our dogs will be well loved and taken care of while we’re away”

About: I've had dogs my whole life including senior dogs and large dogs. I have experience in drop-in sitting for several days at a time. I've taken care of three small elderly dogs at once, including one that was completely blind and hard of hearing. I'm comfortable walking and bathing larger dogs, as I myself have had a dog over 100 pounds. I do not have professional experience, meaning I've never been paid to dog-sit, but I have been sitting for neighbors and friends for several years. We could discuss whether the leashes and harnesses I own are a good fit for your furry friend! :)

About: I have always loved spending time with pets. Since I was born, my family has had three wonderful dogs who have lived special lives in my care. When I was younger, I used to dog sit for friends and neighbors when they were out of town and I always made sure to spend a little extra time with the pets so they aren't too sad when by themselves. I am currently a remote intern with a lot of free time throughout the week, so spending time with pets will be easy to work into my schedule. My home is full of warmth and good vibes for dogs of all sizes. With a big park behind my backyard, your pets will love running around while we play.

I have the option of working 0700-1100 or 1100-1600. I would work out specific time and dates with owner. I own my home in Highland, IN. I have a large backyard that is fully fenced. My dog and I get a lot of exercise.

About: I worked full time for a shelter and loved working with every animal there. Meeting them at their level so that their needs were completely fulfilled was my passion. Whether they were high or low energy, dim or bright, friendly or not, I thrived on figuring out what would make the the most adoptable and what would make them most comfortable in the harsh shelter environment. It was a difficult and demanding job at times especially when I needed to provide first aid or medication/therapy for ailing animals but I always enjoyed coming home knowing I did something that meant something to those parent-less pets. I also had the lovely opportunity to work the social media for the shelter and take photos and videos of each animal to best display their personalities to the wider public who wouldn't normally see them otherwise. I currently work part time with very flexible hours so I am frequently available to provide service to both my own pets and others. I find it very fulfilling to be able to make time for my own furry friends! Working in a shelter environment I often met many animals at their lowest when they were beyond scared and upset. I got exposure to many dogs and cats that were horribly unadapted to life around people and had personalities on either end of the spectrum. I am more than comfortable with animals that are more aggressive in both appearance and personality and was frequently tasked with retrieving abandoned or lost animals using the company van.

I love animals. I care for all animals. I am allergic to cats. I have always felt comfortable around animals,understand the respect, and love they need. About: I’ve grown up in a house with 2 cats and 2 dogs my whole life and often house sit for my friends dogs. I’m used to big dogs and also high energy dogs being that I have one of each. I am mostly free during the week as being and only online college student where I work a part time job of only 2-3 days a week at most with it being pretty flexible I have a fenced in back yard with 2 friendly dogs that all love to play. Love talking the dogs out for walks and what not. I take my two everywhere I can with me.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I have house sat for at least three different people and took care of their pets! I’ve worked with senior dogs and puppies. I also have a part time job at a pet store so I have a decent amount of knowledge on pets and am more than happy to get things from the store for you! I have also administered medicine to a dog with health issues so I am comfortable administering medicine. I work part-time at a pet store! But I have time in between these things to drop in on pets and walk them, play with them, and even feed them. I’m happy to do whatever needs to be done’ My cat is older so she doesn’t play much anymore, but I’ve played with lots of kitties before. I’ve also played with dogs, big and small. My old home had a fenced in yard that I used to play with the dogs in. I no longer have that, but I love taking my own dog on long walks to burn off some of that energy!

We've had him to sit for our Rhodesian ridgeback and our Staffy twice, for 4 days and 10 days, respectively, and we have both times come back to 2 happy and healthy dogs, who looked at us like we had only been gone a short while. They had neither gained stress weight nor become too skinny, and we could tell Andrew had been diligent taking them out frequently. He had mixed in their favorite food toppers and given them their medicine as we asked. He is a kind person, and you can tell he thinks deeply about things, and people's and pets' feelings. He even swept and tidied up, got our mail from our mailbox, and had our packages all neatly inside. He is as the proverb says, a good traveler who leaves no mark, leaving our house exactly as, if not better than, he found it. I can't say enough about the peace of mind Andrew has given us, especially the second time, since we already knew we could trust him. We were able to go to Disney World and have a truly magical time because we knew he was caring for our dogs and our house as we would have done.”
