“Andrew is a godsend. We've had him to sit for our Rhodesian ridgeback and our Staffy twice, for 4 days and 10 days, respectively, and we have both times come back to 2 happy and healthy dogs, who looked at us like we had only been gone a short while. They had neither gained stress weight nor become too skinny, and we could tell Andrew had been diligent taking them out frequently. He had mixed in their favorite food toppers and given them their medicine as we asked. He is a kind person, and you can tell he thinks deeply about things, and people's and pets' feelings. He even swept and tidied up, got our mail from our mailbox, and had our packages all neatly inside. He is as the proverb says, a good traveler who leaves no mark, leaving our house exactly as, if not better than, he found it. I can't say enough about the peace of mind Andrew has given us, especially the second time, since we already knew we could trust him. We were able to go to Disney World and have a truly magical time because we knew he was caring for our dogs and our house as we would have done.”

About: I’ve grown up in a house with 2 cats and 2 dogs my whole life and often house sit for my friends dogs. I’m used to big dogs and also high energy dogs being that I have one of each. I am mostly free during the week as being and only online college student where I work a part time job of only 2-3 days a week at most with it being pretty flexible I have a fenced in back yard with 2 friendly dogs that all love to play. Love talking the dogs out for walks and what not. I take my two everywhere I can with me.

About: I have always cared for animals my whole life. I am a stay at home mama to a 1 year old that is trying to get out and see new animals! my schedule is very flexible. I am open majority of the day, the only time that I am not available is early morning 6 AM-8 AM. I am patient and willing to follow all requests asked. I needed to find someone last minute to care for my dad’s dog, Spunky, for three weeks while he was receiving medical treatment, and I truly cannot express how grateful we are that we found her. I live on the East Coast, so I wasn’t able to be there myself during this time. Naturally, that came with a lot of stress and worry—but Aurora immediately gave us complete peace of mind. Honestly, I don’t think I could have taken better care of Spunky myself than Aurora did. She went above and beyond in every possible way. She made sure Spunky was not only cared for, but genuinely happy—taking her on plenty of walks, out for pup cups, and around town so she could stay active and engaged. It was clear Spunky wasn’t just being “watched,” she was being truly loved. Aurora was also incredibly communicative and thoughtful. She sent us constant updates and so many photos, which meant everything to us while my dad was away and dealing with a difficult situation. It made such a difference knowing Spunky was safe, happy, and in such good hands. What really stood out was the extra level of care Aurora put into everything. She left a thoughtful care package for my dad and Spunky, and even took the time to clean the house—it was honestly cleaner than it’s ever been. Those little (but actually very big) things meant more than we can say. Aurora consistently went above and beyond for the entire three weeks. She is kind, reliable, and truly exceptional at what she does. She was an absolute blessing. I would trust her with Spunky again in a heartbeat and recommend her to absolutely anyone looking for someone who will treat their pet like family.”

About: I love all animals, but especially dogs. I recently lost my first dog, mango, a little over a year ago. Spending time with other dogs is a gift to me because I love to me reminded of her through other dogs. I also have skills administering diabetes shots to senior dogs. I am currently a student, but am able to walk and check-in on M/W anytime before 1pm or after 4. I am also free on Fridays & Weekends for walks and check-ins. I like to play outdoor with dogs & do various enrinchment activities. I like long walks and dog parks as well! I’m comfortable with whatever the owner’s preference is.

“Kassia was great! She was available pretty last minute (huge procrastinator here). I didn’t want to board my dogs as they are rescues and I didn’t want them to feel abandoned. Kassia was available to make frequent trips to my house (one of my doggos has a tiny bladder) for an extended weekend. She was quick to respond and she was able to visit the day after first communicating to meet my dogs. She texted me pics of my boys while I was away to let me know they were okay. I left a lot of notes on medicine and vitamins they take and she left notes back to let me know what she gave them and when. I highly recommend her.”

About: What sets me apart is I grew up with lots of pets so I know how to take care of them. At one point, my dog had puppies so I learned how to take care of puppies. And then had another point my cat had kittens so I also learned how to take care of kittens which that is both very cool. When I was we had a blind and deaf dog so we all had to learn how to help him. Pet care fits into my daily routine by taking my dog out into the backyard first thing into the morning. Then I go outside as well to enjoy the sun and to play with him. I also have to make sure that the dogs and the cats are both fed throughout the day. I would make sure that the pet have what is needed such as food , water, and that the pet has gone outside many times. I would also make sure if the pet and I go outside that the pet isn’t dragging muddy paw prints through out the home.
