During our time away, a new medical issue came up for our elderly dog. Katie was amazing at communicating with us, taking her to the vet for us, helping 3 way call with the vet while she was there and keeping a watchful eye on her until we could return home. We found our house exactly how we left it, everything tidy and clean. We hands-down will be using Katie again knowing that our dogs will be well loved and taken care of while we’re away”

About: I have over five years of hands-on pet care experience and currently own a senior cat who is currently 13 and a 9 month old puppy who I recently adopted. Both have taught me the importance of patience, routine, and gentle care. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, including seniors who may need extra attention, slower pacing, or medication reminders. I have a open schedule since i am able to start focusing on my love for animals and helping others they may need help caring for their animals The care my own animals get is they are feed once a day and get treats throughout the day and go on walks or play with there toys or unwind and watch tv and I would treat the animals in my care with the same love or however it is their own cares for them

About: I have been around dogs and cats since I was a kid. Growing up I had an adorable pit bull that I would feed, walk, and bathe regularly. My family and friends also had cats that I would occasionally watch and feed as well. Recently I have excelled with sticking to strict dietary restrictions for a senior dog I sat to also helping leash train and walk my siblings 6 month old dog. I'm a full time college student and have a part time job. Luckily between my class schedule and work schedule I have more than enough flexibility to provide the service you and your pet need. I have personal dog walking experience and can provide a comfortable walking environment for your pet. I also have experience with rowdy dogs and can safely handle playtime.

Know the signs of heart attacks, dehydration, and heat exhaustion. Finally, I ask all my new dog-owners if there is any medical history, allergies, disabilities, or medication I need to be aware of before caring for that animal.

About: I've had dogs my whole life including senior dogs and large dogs. I have experience in drop-in sitting for several days at a time. I've taken care of three small elderly dogs at once, including one that was completely blind and hard of hearing. I'm comfortable walking and bathing larger dogs, as I myself have had a dog over 100 pounds. I do not have professional experience, meaning I've never been paid to dog-sit, but I have been sitting for neighbors and friends for several years. About: I have cared for pets since I was 7 years old! I currently share my home with two kitties and three dogs. I also have some experience with smaller animals, I've had three Syrian hamsters in the past and have cared of guinea pigs and rabbits in a shelter setting. I've even cared for pigs, goats, and horses before! For my professional credentials, I've worked in animal care for a combined five years. I have cared for hundreds of animals in animal shelter and veterinary clinic settings. From shy and fearful dogs to feral cats, to kittens and puppies, to senior animals. I have cared for animals that need medications and/or special diets. I have experience with leash and barrier reactive dogs, exuberant canines, and leash biters. I have completed dog handling in a shelter and feral and fractious cat handling courses through Maddie's University. And I've assisted in moderating 10-15+ dogs in play groups before! Through these experiences I've become proficient in understanding animal body language, able to identify a variety of possible health issues, and learned how to best keep animals safe and happy. All in all I believe my varied experiences with animals professionally and personally will allow me to provide great care to your pet! This is my primary source of income at this time!
