About: For as long as I can remember I have taken care of, rescued, and cared for animals. Through out my life I have over all had 18 animals in my house hold (at one point in time 8 cats all under the same roof) and I have often helped taken care of animals of family and friends. I have checked in on dogs for noon outside time and potty breaks as well as stayed at a home for as long as a month to take care of a cat. I have experience with pets in all stages of life and in handling animals with different temperaments. I have also given animals medications (from diabetic shots to thyroid pills to special prescription food) and I am very active in taking care of them. Currently I have one dog and three cats that I share with my partner, all of whom I have taken care of from early on in their lives. I am currently in between jobs so most days and times I am available. I do share a car but we always work together to figure out who can use the car when. Just let me know what you need and when and I will work with you to figure out a schedule that works for both of us. I am very respectful of other's homes, making sure things are clean and nothing is messed up. Whether your fur baby tore up a rug or I accidentally broke something, there will be full transparency on what happened while you're away. I can send daily text check ins and don't mind being called daily to ensure everything is alright, your animals are family and I will treat them as such. Any house rules or animal schedules you have set I will abide by. I will give your animal full attention and do what I can to give them what they need.

Being in a new environment for the first time pets will be pets. They aren’t perfect. Feel free to ask me any questions if need be. **(For example old pictures of pet only to arrive and they are 3 times the size) - 100% we have to have a meet n greet prior to sitting. Returning customers the meet and greet does not apply. For last minute requests please contact me directly I will try my best to accommodate but please be advised there may be a fee associated depending on the circumstance. Especially if there is no time to set up a meet n greet and I’m only going off photos. Apparently he complained for a bit and then settled right in, getting to know a small dog and cat. I was camping at the dunes and was able to spend a day in Chicago riding the South shore in from a station not far from Jordan's. I will definitely be doing this again it went so well!”

Currently, I care for two of my own—Sparky, my sweet 13-year-old Bichon Frise, and Shelby, my playful 1-year-old Miniature Goldendoodle. Having both a senior dog and a young, energetic pup has given me a wide range of hands-on experience, from managing health needs and gentle senior care to keeping up with puppy energy, training, and teething phases. In the past, I also cared for an American Pitbull Terrier for 5 years, and over the years I’ve looked after many dogs for friends, neighbors, and family members. I have 5 years of experience in training American pitbulls mixes to have as pets around children and other small animals. Something that sets me apart from others is that I recognize dogs and cats behavior such as signs of discomfort. I have personal experience with raising and caring for dogs of all sizes. I want animals to be comfortable, safe, and healthy. This may be disconcerting for owners that expect their pet to have free roam. I would expect multiple walks and sleeping in their dog beds considering the pets disposition as well as updates about pet stay. For house sitting, I will be willing to adjust prices if my own dogs are allowed to accompany me (not required). I am currently doing delivery services such as Grubhub and Doordash so I set the times I work. I have a flexible schedule and do not leave my home very often. I have 2 small dogs that are playful and dog friendly. I do not have a fenced yard, but I do use the long tie out leashes and outdoor playpens. I recently made a potty area for my dogs. I clean and disinfect it multiple times a week with natural products.

I am now off for the Summer and even though I go back in the fall I work around my online classes. I have 2 dogs of our own and a cat. Realizing they have individual needs and they love the safe space of their own home it is important to me to provide that care that you specifically may need for them. You know this and I have so many that suffer from Anxiety or Seniors that do better in their own homes. That is what I am here for...whether they require so many walks per day or snuggles or play time

About: I have had all kinds of pets growing up. I currently have three dogs of my own. Two girls and one boy. I also have worked at a pet store for the past 2 years providing pet care to 40+ puppies on a daily basis. Each of them are loved and cared for as if they were my own and I’ll be sure to do the same for yours! ❤️🐾 Although I work full time I am able to provided services without conflicting schedules. The daily care for your pet will be the same I provide for my own ❤️ My pets free roam the house but I have a doggy gate blocking the steps or any “unsafe” areas. Luna is only 6 months old, has a lot of energy, is not fully trained and I'm sure was a handful for someone to walk in day-one and manage, But she did above and beyond. She brought toys and puzzles, made sure Luna was fed and properly walked. She updated me on how the walks went, when she arrived and left, told me about the other dogs Luna got to meet along the walks and seemed totally joyful and sincere about spending time with my sweet girl. I will be hiring Alexis over and over in the future!”

“Daryl boarded our dog from the 23rd through the 24th and she was amazing! Our dog is, for the most part, very high maintenance and craves personalized attention and that is what he got for two days being with Daryl. We had looked at other boarders, ones with other dogs, ones with various other animal types, kids etc... and just watching Chief interact with Daryl was incredible. He immediately took to her and to the environment, was playing, jumping and even napping almost right away. We were sent photos consistently while we were away and just seeing him happy and playful and even how tired he was was a wonderful sight. We would definitely recommend anyone who is looking to have their dog boarded to consider Daryl, especially if they require more personal attention. She did great!!”
