“A last minute change to my plans had me in a panic and I came to Rover. It was a last minute request, with only a day notice and we needed someone to care for a new puppy (8 weeks old) and my senior mastiff, who is quite depressed when Mom leaves him. Claudia met with us for a same day meet and greet and she was ready to stay for the weekend to house sit, and care for my animals. I am a bit of a worrier about my dogs and have never left over night without them. Claudia came in and made me feel comfortable enough to hire her on the spot! I received updates so often on my dogs, and once I saw Meatball eating, I wasn’t worried at all (he doesn’t eat when i’m not home). It was a pleasure working with her, and now that I found her, I will feel more comfortable leaving my pups. She was professional, pleasant, and trustworthy! 10/10 recommend and will be rebooking! “Laura was wonderful! She was very good with Ellie at the meet and greet, bringing a treat for her and giving her lots of pets. Laura very friendly and you could tell that she has a true love of animals. Laura walked Ellie, made sure she ate on time and administered her meds. She sent me daily updates with pictures to reassure me that Ellie was doing well. Ellie was happy and well cared for while we were gone. It was a big load off of my mind since we had to travel for a death in the family. We have only had Ellie a couple of months. She was a rescue, thus I did not want to have to board her. Laura was a lifesaver, and we will be using her again! Ellie and I thank Laura so much!”

About: Since I was a kid, I knew that I was born to take care of fur babies. I absolutely love them. They are the best I used to always play like I was a vet and till this day That’s exactly what I want to do with my life. They deserve the world, I love to help the strays an any way I can. Whether that’s sheltering them for a day or two, getting them vaccinated, taking them to a pet facility and etc. I don’t like seeing animals in need every fur baby needs they own human. Don’t you think I’m currently working part-time but I’m looking to take care of the fur babies and help out full time. Anytime. I can even do multiple days I have an puppy and now one cat due to my other passing, I clean my cats litter four times a day, depending on smell, and how full it is, and I walk my puppy 5 times a day because she has an weak bladder. Hygiene and health means everything.

About: Since the age of 12, I've harbored a deep passion for caring for dogs. My journey began with my beloved Cane Corso Mastiff named Pacquiao, who was my faithful companion for five wonderful years until he passed away from Dilated Cardiomyopathy. Though I haven't had a dog of my own since Pacquiao, I've found solace and joy in pet sitting for friends and family, helping to fill the void until I'm ready to welcome another furry friend into my home. Taking walks and frequenting dog parks are among my favorite pastimes, allowing me to nurture my love for these amazing animals while staying active and engaged in their well-being. During my undergraduate years, I worked as a nanny for a family that had both a cat and an English bulldog. Through this experience, I not only cared for the children but also formed a bond with their pets. Spending time with the cat, I discovered a newfound appreciation for feline companionship and the calming presence they bring to a home. Alongside my love for dogs, this experience broadened my understanding of and affection for various animals. It further solidified my commitment to providing compassionate care to pets, whether it be through walks, playtime, or simply enjoying their company. As an aviation teacher and instructor, my schedule offers flexibility, ensuring your fur baby receives exceptional care. Living just 20 minutes from my workplace means your pet will enjoy multiple potty breaks throughout the day. In rare instances where I may be unavailable for a scheduled potty break, drop-off, or pickup, rest assured that my retired father, who lives just around the corner, is eager to lend a helping hand. Additionally, I'm available for weekends and major holidays, providing continuous care whenever you need it With a fenced yard and a location only 5 minutes away from the Hyde Park neighborhood, known for its abundance of dog-friendly parks, your pet will have ample opportunities for exercise and play. I am dedicated to maintaining cleanliness by regularly tending to litter boxes, cages, and any other pet areas. Additionally, I prioritize your pet's well-being by closely monitoring their behavior and health, promptly addressing any signs of distress or illness.
