“This was our first time using Rover for house sitting and it was worth it! Taryn is so sweet, she kept us updated on our pets and sent us plenty of pictures. We had a meet and greet prior to booking but of course my pets loved her! I knew my babies were in the best hands and look forward to booking with Taryn again! ?”

About: Hello, I'm Katie! I helped my mom run a cat rescue for over 8 years (that includes waking up every 2 hours to bottle feed, giving medication, handling moody kitties, cleaning up constant messes, etc). Since then, I've been trusted to pet sit for friends, coworkers, and family members. I have more experience house sitting with cats than dogs, but I love all pets equally and would be so happy to meet them! I offer overnight stays/house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking. I am currently pet sitting full time. I am available on weekdays and weekends however early or late as needed, and for as many drop-ins as needed. My schedule is very flexible! The care and safety of your pet is the most important thing to me. I make sure to keep human food out of reach along with plastic bags, cords, or other potentially harmful items. I always try to keep pets entertained, happy, and out of trouble. I am a very clean person and will never leave a mess behind, I can assure your home will be well looked after. I can provide photo or text updates as often as needed!
“Rob watched our two pets on a long weekend and was great. We love a lot of communication - and he kept us posted and sent us many pictures. Very professional and our pets loved him. We would definitely recommend!”
“Samantha was amazing! She was very professional and my dogs immediately took to her. I have never had someone watch my dogs at our house and I was very nervous but she put my mind at ease and I will definitely be using her for future bookings!”

“Nicole is incredibly communicative. She goes above and beyond with our dog. We were so pleased to have her stay in our home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and will be booking again.”

“Alexa did a wonderful job taking care of our dog in our home over a long holiday weekend. She was communicative, made sure Beau got his walks and play time, left our home clean and our dog happy. She followed our instructions on everything and asked questions when she wasn’t sure about something. We hope our dog wasn’t too crazy for her, but we would gladly welcome her back! So grateful we found Alexa.”

“Hayley & Ephraim took perfect care of our energetic wire fox terrier Caspar while we were away! They were thorough in the questions that they had for us prior to our trip, and were excellent in communication. And they provided our pup with plenty of cuddles and lap time while we were away! We loved the photos they sent us too. We'll definitely think of them the next time we are out of town. Thank you, Hayley & Ephraim!”

“Guadalupe took care of my cats at home. She did such a good job that one of my cat gained weight when I came back! My senior cats have special needs such as medications, insulin injections. She took care of them all. Thank you so much!”

Whiting pet parents share their Rover experiences
Our experience with Ximena was great! She was flexible with the start time and even came by beforehand to meet our pets, which gave us extra peace of mind. She stayed at our home for several days while we were out of the country and was fantastic throughout. During the stay, she communicated quickly and regularly, sending us photos so we always felt comfortable knowing our pets were in good hands. When we returned, the house was clean, our pets were very happy, and she kept them on the exact feeding schedule we had trained them on. We will definitely be booking her again—highly recommend, and you shouldn’t hesitate to book with her either. Thanks again, Ximena!

Ximena was great! When we met she was taking notes the whole time and was eager to jump in and help Maggie. The day of the sitting Xiema was very timely and so happy to be there watching Maggie. She adhered to all of the directions we gave her and was an all-star sitter. We’ve already scheduled her to watch Maggie again!!
