About: I currently have a 6 month old golden retriever and a house with a fenced in yard. We love going on walks and doing training sessions with treats 🐶🐾 I’m a teacher that is off for the summer, so my schedule is free until school starts back up again, except for any planned trips! I have a fenced in yard and a 6 month old golden retriever that will keep your dogs company. I also keep them within my watch at all times if not in their crate!
“Lupe took care of my cats during the holidays with great care! She paid attention to all their needs and kept me updated on everything. This was my first time leaving them alone like this, so I'm really glad I had Lupe to count on.”

About: What sets me apart is how seriously I take the trust you're placing in me. I understand that pets are family and leaving them in someone else's care can be difficult. That's why I approach every pet with patience, empathy, and genuine care. I take the time to learn their unique personality (energetic, shy, or just needs a little extra attention), routines, and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and have the flexibility to give them the attention they deserve. With an open schedule, I can easily adapt to your pet's routine, whether that means morning walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company throughout the day. I know that being away from their owner can be an adjustment for some pets, so I do my best to create a calm, loving, and familiar environment where they feel safe and comfortable. My goal is for your pet to feel cared for and happy, and for you to have peace of mind knowing they're in compassionate and dependable hands. When caring for pets during drop-in visits and dog walks, I make it a priority to maintain the routine they're familiar with, so they feel comfortable and at ease. Every pet is unique, so I take the time to understand their needs, whether that's a fun walk, playtime, mealtime, or some extra attention and affection. My goal is to provide thoughtful, reliable care that keeps your pet happy while giving you confidence that they're in good hands.

About: Hello! I’m Jackie, I have taken care of animals my whole life from friends to family members and even my own. I’ve had dogs and pets all my life, I’m experienced with many animals of all ages and sizes. Im excellent in meeting any animals needs. I’ve taken care of dogs all my life and lizards for about 10 years. I’ve always had a love for animals big and small! I am very caring, loving and confident. I am working part time so I will always have time for this job. I have a lot of time on my hands and am ready to use it. About: Hi Rover! My name is Alex. I have been a pet owner since I could walk; dogs, cats, fish, birds, gerbils, even rats! I absolutely love animals and I am sure I can give your pet the love they require while you are away. I am the fur mommy of Sāj (pronounced Sage), and my angel fur baby Stasi 🕊️💕. Sāj loves other dogs almost more than she loves me. We have fur friends of all ages, shapes and sizes. So big or small, she can adapt and be a fun friend to play/cuddle with. I do work a full time job, however, I have flexibility in my day for walks, playtime, feeding, etc. I can provide plenty of daily updates and pictures. For new clients, I offer a doggie report card and Polaroid photo to ensure your pet was taken care of with the same love you give. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to ask. I look forward to meeting you and your dog! I have a hybrid schedule of work from home and office time, with flexibility to ensure your pet, like mine, are not left alone for extended periods of time throughout the day. I have a home with huge fenced yard to roam and play. I live within walking distance to regular parks and don’t mind taking a trip to the dog parks for socializing and exercise.
About: I grew up in a multi pet home and learned to walk, train and groom pets from a young age. I cared for the last family dog through her medically tedious senior years. Through college I pet sat and walked for friends and family. For 2 years I worked for a veterinary clinic, although my job was marketing I often was asked to assist with holding and monitoring patients. When I became a pet owner I adopted puppies raising them through potty and crate training. I am proud to say they continue to be healthy and happy. Now we foster and pet sit dogs of all ages and sizes because of the dog friendly environment we’ve created at home. My success in pet lies with gaining the pets trust. I approach them slowly and go at their pace, sitting and waiting on the ground if necessary. I am pet sitting and walking full time so I have plenty of time to dedicate to my clients! Dogs are typically walked and out between 7am and 9pm. I have a fully fenced yard with ample room for running and playing. There are four resident dogs who are friendly and used to guests. We can crate your pup or have them sleep in a bed or in bed with me. Water is available at all times through a 2 gallon water dispenser.
“Jorinee was excellent with both of my cats. I am so glad I found her. I use to be concerned about who would look after my fur babies or even if I would be able to travel at all. My cats were very comfortable with her. They were relaxed, well fed and their litter box was clean. You can tell it was done on a consistent basis. I have another lengthy vacation for next year and will no doubt be requesting her. She is excellent and I would recommend her to anyone asking.”

I can keep your fur baby engaged and out of trouble with playing, enrichment activities and walks! With skills on how to redirect the dog.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
