About: I’ve taken care of my own dog and cat for 7 years and before then was the go to sitter for all my friends with pets! I’m also a PhD student in psychology working in animal behaviors. Since young, I understand animals and respect them: how we treat them influences their behaviors. I’ve got the heart and the training to give your babies the best care they deserve when you are away! My schedule is flexible as long as we communicate in advance. My weekdays are mostly spent at home for academic work, and can adjust for drop in visits easily. I have a comfy apartment with one dog and one cat. They’ll keep your baby company if you board with us. I had two German shepherds, and took care of a friends pitbull for a year, I also have three reptiles that I take care of. About: Hi! I’m a 29-year-old lifelong dog lover, and caring for dogs has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve never gone a day without dogs in my home since I was 3 years old! I grew up with two Rottweilers, then two German Shepherds. Having experience with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and making every dog feel safe and loved. I recently said goodbye to my senior dog, which made me appreciate even more how special the bond between people and their pets truly is. I understand that dogs are family, and I would treat your fur baby with the same love, attention, and care that I give my own. My dogs are friendly and enjoy being around other dogs, and I’m happy to help provide a comfortable environment for pups who enjoy canine companionship. I live in a three-bedroom apartment with plenty of indoor space for dogs to relax, play, and feel at home. I also understand that some dogs may need their own space or may be more comfortable staying separate from other pets. If you have any concerns about your dog needing separation, I have crates and additional rooms available to help keep them safe, comfortable, and relaxed while in my care. I’m happy to follow your dog’s routine and any specific instructions you provide. Whether your pup loves playtime, cuddles, companionship, or simply having someone nearby to make them feel comfortable, I’ll do my best to make their time with me a positive experience. I also work just 3 minutes from home, so getting back quickly if needed is never a problem! I walk my dogs 3–4 times a day: before work, after work, after dinner, and before bed. After work, I come straight home to walk and feed them, and 9 times out of 10, I’m bringing home treats for them, too! 🐾 Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine, and I make sure every dog receives plenty of love, attention, exercise, and care. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and potty breaks. “It was the first time using this site. I have never left Izzy with anyone before, but I was going away for a long weekend. I was so nervous to leave her and she cried when I dropped her off, but I knew she’d get over it because there were other dogs there and she loves to play. Desiree was awesome. Send pictures every day and videos which made me feel ease on my vacation. I would definitely recommend her. She has a wonderful set up and is wonderful with the dogs that she cares for. About: I have a special way of connecting with every dog I meet. I've rescued stray dogs from the streets in California since I was a young adult, and I’ve had dogs of my own since I was a little girl. I volunteered with Bully Rescue Fresno in California during college and worked there for a year. My love for dogs has always been part of who I am. A close friend and former Rover sitter encouraged me to sign up as a sitter on Rover. She believes I am good at caring for dogs, show them as much love as I did my own, and that I'm a fun person any dog could ask for. So here I am, and I want to gain experience caring for dogs. I'm a deaf mom of three girls and two dogs. I’ve been staying home since my third baby was born in August and working remotely. My work hours are very flexible, so I can take care of the dogs as much as I can while I’m home. I have fence yard, two adorable dogs, and three young children.
