Availability
Your dog can be let out as often as you would like (and potty pads are also fine if they are used to that). If your pup likes rides or walks, I can provide them that. I also have tons of enrichment activities, such as kongs, snufflemats, and puzzles to keep their mind busy. Or if they are like my lazy seniors and like to snuggle on the couch and take plenty of naps, that is fine too. You can just let me know.

Safety, trust & environment
It is most important that your dog feels comfortable and loved while you are away, and your fur baby's safety is my top priority. I have a fully fenced yard and your dog will never be unattended outside. Because I have my own small senior dogs, I understand the importance of safety, especially for these little ones. Your dog is welcome on couches and human beds (only with your permission). I also have dog sofas, beds, heated beds, cots, and cribs all designed for little dogs to have the comfort they deserve. I will follow your instructions in how you would like your dog cared for. If your dog is not used to a crate, he or she will not be going in a crate at my house. If your dog finds that a crate is safety, I can set one up for your dog. I will do what your dog is used to. I will provide you with daily updates/pictures so you know how your dog is doing at my home. It is hard to leave fur babies behind when going away, and I understand that!

Information Kat J. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know your dog's needs ahead of time. I want to be aware of your dog's likes and dislikes, medical needs, socialization with other dogs, and any behavioral issues. The more I know about your dog's background and needs, the better I can help your dog feel at home. Currently, I am dogsitting small breed dogs under 20 pounds. I am happy to dogsit multiple dogs from the same family.
A typical day
Please let me know what your dog enjoys and I will do everything I can to make his or her stay positive and fun, whether the need is walks, enrichment activities, treat time, sniffs in the park, stroller rides, and so on.

Pet care experience
As someone who is passionate about animals, I see them as important members of the family. I have taken care of dogs all of my life. I have many years of experience volunteering at the local animal shelter and rescuing senior dogs to give them a spoiled remainder of their lives. I have cared for and fostered dogs of all ages in my home from puppies to seniors. I have also done dogsitting in my home for years. I have experience meeting the needs of dogs with medical/physical conditions (i.e. blind, deaf, IVDD, mobility issues, incontinence, diabetes requiring insulin, kidney failure, collapsed Trachea, arthritis, etc). I have experience as a therapy dog handler as well and have gone through countless hours of dog training. I've also cared for dogs who have experienced trauma in their lives, and need special care due to fears and other behavioral issues.
Reviews

Our only preferred sitter! Ms. Kat and her kids are amazing! My pup and I are so grateful for their love and care for the sweet fur babies they sit! Happy to rebook when I go for work trips.

Love leaving my dogs with her she takes very good care of them I would do it anytime I recommend her

Kat is great! Used multiple times and was very flexible taking on my dog very very last min.

Ms. Kat and her entire family are so great with my pup! They are attentive, show her loads of attention, take her on regular walks and field trips, and all around just show great care to my girl! So happy we found her, and we have and will continue to return for sitting! 🩷 thank you Ms. Kat and family!
