About: I’m the kind of sitter who loves your pets like family—because to me, they are. I’ve cared for animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, and I’m always learning more about their behavior so I can give them the best, most thoughtful care. I’m patient, playful, and love building trust with each animal I meet. When I’m babysitting, once the kid is in bed, I usually end up curled up with the family pet (not saying who I like more—that wouldn’t be fair). And if I ever disappear at someone’s house, you can bet I’ve found the pet and made a new best friend. Whether it’s walks, snuggles, structure, or quiet company, I’m here to make your pet feel safe, loved, and completely at home. I’m currently an athletic training student at Valparaiso University and doing an internship over the summer, but my schedule is pretty flexible. I’m often able to work around short-notice requests or odd hours, so don’t hesitate to reach out—even if it looks like I’m booked or unavailable. I’ll always do my best to make it work for you and your pets! Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for your pets. I’m probably someone who does a little too much research to make sure every detail is right—whether it’s proper walking manners, keeping pets safe in different temperatures, or understanding the best foods and treats for their health. I want you to feel confident that your furry family member is in knowledgeable, caring hands and that their environment is always secure, comfortable, and loving.

“Jen did a wonderful job with our new puppy! She sent many pictures and updates daily. Very attentive to puppy and to the home. We would definitely recommend her to our friends!”

“So happy with the care that my dog Ralph received, my dog is an older dog with lots of anxiety, Shelby took great care of him and kept me updated with messages and pictures of him.”

“Emily and her little chihuahua stayed at our home for a week taking care of our dachshund and cat. She did a wonderful job with the animals and also took really good care of the house. I could hardly tell that she was here when we got back. We will definitely use her again!”

“He was excellent with my dog with separation anxiety. I would 100 percent book him again”

About: I love all animals but have just two cats myself. I’ve worked with both domesticated pets at vet hospitals to wild animals at rehab centers and nature centers in NWI. I’m happy to be someone you can trust with your furry family while you’re away! I work hybrid and have a lot of flexibility to my schedule. I can usually be available morning, noon and night! I can easily find a way to fit your needs to my schedule. I like to be active so walks and play time are big for me. If your pet is more into snoozing on the couch, we can make that work too! I’m great with medications if needed and very protective of my own pets so you can rest assured that I will let you know of any issues should they arise.

“Stephanie is FANTASTIC. She stayed at our home for several days and was just wonderful with our girls, extremely communicative, sent adorable pictures, and left our house cleaner than she found it! We are so happy to have found her and would recommend her as a trusted sitter to anyone!”

“Lilli is absolutely amazing! She stayed with our 8 week old puppy and did a wonderful handling him when he needed a lot of attention. She was so great at communicating and keeping us up to date regularly. She was also so accommodating. We could not recommend her enough!!!!”

About: Hi, I’m Sabrina! I have over 7 years of experience with animals, including time in vet clinics, zoos, and dog daycares. I also did vet assisting for 7 years. I now focus on training, pet sitting, and spending time with animals full-time. I train my Cane Corso in various dog sports using a fair and positive balanced training approach that builds trust, structure, and confidence. I also have chickens, a cat, and a snake — so I’m comfortable with all kinds of pets! Your animals will be safe, loved, and well-cared for with me. I treat every pet like my own and believe play and connection are just as important as routine care. Let me know how I can help! I care for my animals daily—feeding my chickens, handling my snake, and cuddling my cat. I train and do dog sports with my two dogs every day, keeping them active and happy outdoors. I bring the same love, routine, and attention to every pet I care for. I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort when caring for pets, whether in my home or yours. I have a laid-back Cane Corso and a young, energetic hunting prospect GSP, so I’m experienced balancing calm time with fun, engaging activities like scent work. I tailor care to each pet’s needs, providing gentle attention, plenty of exercise, and a secure environment where they feel safe and loved.

“Our Micki took to Kimberly right away. Our dog can always recognize a fellow dog lover. We received many photos and videos while we were away, which made us feel really good. When we got home, Micki was happy and tired from having so much fun. Thank you Kimberly for treating our dog like the queen she is.”

“Payton did a great job. Loved the pics and communication, definitely is a gal that wants to please!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life I helped raise my parents dog, a four year-old Australian Shepherd named Eddy. I’ve dog sit and watched family and friends dogs, majority of my life. I really enjoy getting exercise and spending quality time with other peoples dogs, being able to socialize with them, play with them and get as much joy from them as I can. Im free in the afternoons Monday- Sunday. Also evenings my schedule is flexible. I live in Chesterton dune land area. I’m a animal lover but dogs are my favorite animals in general. I’ve got experience with many different breeds. From behavioral training - teaching dogs how to do tricks. From bathing and waking running swimming, I’ve got experience working with aggressive rescue to watching multiple dogs. I’m eager to help them no matter what the situation calls for. Thanks -Kyle. I’m currently working part time so I have extra time to earn extra income doing something I really love. It’s truly a dream job for me. I helped rise my parents 4 year old Australian Shepherd, i trained my dog to stay in the proximity of the yard when he was six months old he does not need a leash when we go on walks he stays by my side or within 100 yards. I’m very fortunate that I trained him early on at a young age so he knows the perimeter of the yard. He’ll also sit an watch the other neighborhood. Dogs play. He does not go into the their yards. He just sits at the perimeter of my yard and watches them play This is one something I’m extremely proud of.

“We were in a pinch when the day of our sitter for our fur babies was canceled. We were already out of town when a hour before the sitter was suppose to start canceled. We panicked wondering who would watch them and this amazing person stepped up very last minute. We are thankful!!”

About: Hello!! I have been a vet assistant for 6 years and have been around animals of all ages, sizes, and breed. I am extremely comfortable with all breeds and animals and would love to work with you to make sure you feel comfortable and safe while leaving your pet babies with me. I currently am working full time with weekends off, I get off around 6pm at night and have an hour around noon to also help with animals, and I am also willing to go in early mornings before work. I have a fenced in back yard with 2 very playful pups I have separate rooms to also give everyone a break and rest time.

“Meredith did a great job with our two dogs, a four year old and a rambunctious four month old, and our 14 year-old cat. She handled our little circus with no issues!”

About: I grew up raising dogs, both taking care of the family pets as well as raising puppies for my grandmother repeatedly. I also have some experience in dog training I work full time, but only four days a week. I can always check on animals in the evenings and I always have Friday/saturday/Sunday free for pet care In a clients home I am respectful of the space that’s there. I find it easier to deal with pets in an environment that is familiar to them as they seem more at ease that way. I do my best to follow any routine an animal has to keep the animal calm and to make sure they receive proper care

About: I have been a pet owner for over 30 years. As a child, I’ve been authentically drawn to dogs of all sizes and ages. I have a true passion for the utmost care of our furry friends. Time after time I have had various family and friends to tell me to open up a shelter because they know the passion that I carry for all kinds of loving pets. I have been deemed as a trustworthy pet lover! I am available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays to care for your loving pets. However, I am available on Wednesdays and Thursdays after 6pm for potty breaks. I currently have an invisible fence from my sweety who recently gained his wings. If you are comfortable with your pet using the collar I would carefully show you/your pet the boundaries that surround the exterior of my yard. If you are uncomfortable with this process , I will gladly leash your pet whenever they are outside in the yard ensuring the utmost care.

About: My motto is that it's my responsibility to make sure that each dog under my care is HAPPY and SAFE. Every day that I'm with your pup, I keep that motto at the forefront of my mind. I know how important dogs are to our lives, so it's my duty to make sure that your dog gets to experience the same kind of love while you may be away. I currently volunteer at the Toledo Humane Society to walk dogs and I have loved it. I am currently studying at the University of Toledo with online classes. I am always looking for more ways that I can get extra exercise and spend time with pets. I grew up on a farm and have so many great memories taking care of all the many animals we had. I miss my pets at home so I hope I can care and walk your dogs like I have for many years at home. Taking care of animals fits in to my schedule in the mornings of most days because I am not busy until evenings and I would love to use that time to take care of animals that may need a friend while there parents are away. I love taking pets on long walks where they can get all the zoomies out. I always start with saying hi and giving them a much needed welcome treat with some pets. I then will have doggy poop bags if needed on walks with some extra treats along the way.

About: I’ve had both cats & dogs and helped care for them my whole life. I currently work as an assistant at an emergency veterinary hospital so I have experience handling others’ pets like they’re my own, and can recognize animal body language. For the last few years I have also been pet sitting for friends and family, and have even taken care of a friend’s rats. Pet care is part of my daily routine both at home and at work. I have a weird schedule, a 2 week rotation of four 12 hour days followed by three 8 hour days. I am off every other weekend Friday-Monday. Despite my 12 hour shifts, I fit my pet care into my schedule the best I can, and make sure to spend extra quality time with them before and after work. I care for pets in their own home so they can stay comfortable and stress-free in a familiar environment while you’re away. I stick to their routine, give them plenty of love and attention, and take extra care with pets who are shy, anxious, or a little spicy. I also make sure your home stays clean and respected—just like I’d want for my own pets.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was in middle school. My parents, neighbors, or friends have always reached out to me asking if I can take care of their dog or take them for a walk. My services include walks, feeding, stopping in and checking on them, and playing with them. I always ensure that the dog receives the right amount of time being walked or played with! My goal is to always ensure that the owners know that their dog is being well taken care of. I am currently a full time student at Ball State University. I am also an equipment manager for the football team as well. But during the week I tend to be very open around 2/3. On weekends especially Sunday’s I am very open as well. Whatever day of the week it is I will always try to be flexible! I currently live in a dorm on campus, so I will always have to come to the clients house. But if I am walking the dog then I will ensure that the dog is comfortable with me before taking it on a walk. I will want to create trust between the dog and I to make sure that it is safe. If I am dropping in for a visit then I will make sure the dog is also comfortable and safe.

“McKenzi has watched my 9 year old bulldog consistently for about 3 years now. She does a great job at sending photos and updates while I’m away on travels. My dog, Lucy, struggles with anxiety and has to take daily medication for her joint pain. McKenzi is always consistent and provides the needed care. She also goes above the standard expectations by giving extra TLC when needed. Lucy looks forward to having her over anytime I’m away and I know my beloved pet is in good hands with her.”

Candice T.
“Candice comes from a family who loves dogs. From her great-grandfather, grandparents, parents, and only sibling…it’s in her genes. Candice has a loving and gentle way with dogs. She has done in-home dog sitting care, walked, and loved my dog while I was out of town. I knew he was in excellent hands. I’ve also witnessed, firsthand, her love, care, and understanding of dogs through the care of her own dog. She took him for rides in her car (not just for regular vet visits), walks, playing on the floor, times of joy in the backyard for games of fetch, brushing his coat, hugs, kisses, napping and watching television together… This position would afford her the opportunity to extend her inherent love for dogs to so many others.”
