About: About us 👋 Hey we’re Doug & Catherine and we’ve professionally fostered and taken care of dogs for the past 5 years. We also both grew up with dogs at home. We love that we get the ability to give dogs a safe and loving home (even if it’s just for a day!) We are comfortable leash training, helping dogs through any trauma and dealing with dogs who are timid around other animals or humans. We also don’t mind big or small! ✨BEFORE BOOKING PLEASE NOTE ✨ • If you’re a new client we kindly ask that you request one doggy daycare before booking any long term boarding to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. We have many regulars who we’ve built strong relationships with and want to make sure we can do the same for any new pups too. • We only look after one rover dog at a time and also have no dogs of our own. So yours will be the only one in our home. Our schedule ⏰ We both work from home and have very flexible schedules so walks and potty breaks are all part of our daily routine and can be done whenever needed. We often go to parks morning and night to give your dog space to run and enjoy the outdoors. Our apartment 🏡 We have a large ground floor apartment with a backyard to give your dog lots of indoor and outdoor space. We have dog blankets, toys, yummy treats and a crate to make you dog feel right at home

About: Not only have I grown up with several dogs my whole life, I have experience pet sitting and dog walking them and neighbors and other family members pets as well. Along with these services, I love running with dogs so I welcome high energy pups. I currently work part time and have a fairly flexible schedule. I am available for pet sitting weekday afternoons after 1pm and on weekends. For dog walking and other services I am usually available times additional to these including morning hours. I'm always happy to spend all of my time when I'm not working with one of your pups! I live close to several dog friendly parks and love to walk around the city which is perfect for walking dogs. I grew up with and love dogs so much and need somewhere to put that love while my two doggos are home with my parents! I also have experience taking care of dogs with anxiety and administering oral medications. I'm always willing and happy to do anything you need to make sure you are at ease when I'm taking care of your pets and your pets have the best experience as well.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since adopting my very first guinea pig at nine years old. I started getting really involved with pet care after my family moved to an apartment building with lots of dog owners and adopted a dog and cat when I was in high school. We adopted my dog, Shadow, at six months old and I worked on basic commands with him and potty training. I have also volunteered at multiple animal shelters starting in high school and now continuing at the local cat shelter in the town where I go to college. Through all of this, I have experience taking care of heavily medicated dogs and cats. I’m home for the summer from college, so my hours are super flexible! My dog has gone through a lot of walking schedules since we first adopted him, so I’m used to early mornings and late nights for pup time. I make sure to be very respectful of any space I enter for pet sitting (including the pet’s!) I’ve worked with dogs and cats that are shy and need more distance and ones that are totally enthusiastic for another friend, and I’m happy to be there for either kind of pet!

I work remotely, so can spend time in between meetings playing and walking your fur baby! Will cater my day around what your pup prefers - long walks or long snuggles, playtime or nap time, I will adapt and adjust! I have a large apartment and ample dog toys! I'm close to the East River walking path and live next to a turfed dog area. I own a dog, Piper, who spends the summer on a lake Upstate escaping the heat (June-September). In the fall, she will be back in the city and is a loving companion to help comfort and play with your pup!

About: Since before I can remember, my life has revolved around dogs. I have grown up around the detailed care and routine of puppies and seniors, from all sizes and temperaments. I cannot say that my love for canines is fiercer than anyone else's, but I, my clients, my family, and my dogs can vouch for my dedication and commitment to the care of your babies. There are a lot of sitters on Rover, but I dare you to find another girl who will hold an umbrella over a picky Dachsund who doesn't like to walk in the rain, and pick up her muddy self when she refuses to go further; or who can keep up with your hyperactive Jack Russell Terrier mix, and be patient when he pulls; or who will wipe your Aussie Shepherd's poopy butt with baby wipes in the freezing cold, all with a smile on her face. As a young person who has already seen a few dog lifetimes come and go, the company of a dog is something I wouldn't trade for the world. In my life I have had a food-driven Newfoundland, a territorial Great Pyrenees, 2 sassy Yorkies, a standoffish Goldendoodle, and a hyper energetic Bernedoodle. My own dogs have been big (180 lbs) and small (4 lbs). I’m an active college student approached by many parents of new puppies and rescues, and am known for my patience and ability to connect with many kinds of dogs’ personalities :) I have a steady routine set for my own dogs at home, so I’m available and accustomed to providing attention and care throughout the day! I tailor pet care to every animal. I'm very attentive to your pet's needs; I like to chill with some pets, but I also enjoy exercise and running!

About: I grew up with both and English Mastiff and a French Bulldog since I was 10 and looking for some dog time in the city! This is just for fun for me so I’m available on the weekends to help cater to your needs for your dog. I would love to walk them or even bring them to the park for some play time. I always will respect the clients pet and home. Safety is first for me so I will always have an eye on them. I will also send pics to owner throughout the day.
