I grew up with them and trained them all my life. My step mother even owns a rescue. So what better way to use the land of our family’s farm to also take care of other peoples dogs! We are located here in the northern part of Alamance County. Here we have 98 acres of land with several walking trails next to a flowing creek, a clean and swimmable pond with a shallow area for the small dogs, a gated outside area with 4 separate runners for the cool days with a nice breeze, and inside luxury crates equipped with barn doors and beds inside of them for all of our furry visitors to relax and feel right at home! From dog training to now dog boarding here at The Retreat we want your pet to have their own get away while you have your own get away! Currently I am a Realtor and own my Real estate business so I’m usually always working from home unless I’m running to show a home. While I’m out I have my wife and the rest of my family to cover my spot until a I return so your pet should always have someone there to care for them! Here your pet will always have someone to care for them so you can trust your pup to be in the best of hands. We also offer clip on air tags for your dogs collar while they stay here for extra safety and surveillance, separated luxury crates to sleep and eat in so they feel safe and secure at any time, and nothing but a stimulated environment where they can run and play as much as they want all within in 98 acres of fenced in land.

On Thursday and Friday only I’m available after 5:30pm (due to me having a full time job from home). Saturday and Sunday I’m available all day 🙂 For any Drop-In visits or Walks I do require a complementary meet and greet before booking to ensure your pet is comfortable with me and their “home space” ❤️ Your pet’s comfort and safety always come first in your home. I take time to learn your pet’s routine, preferences, and any special needs before each visit. I follow feeding, walking, and medication instructions exactly as given, and always make sure your pet has fresh water and a clean, calm environment. I respect your space—leaving your home just as I found it—and keep doors locked, alarms set, and your pet safely indoors or secured outside as requested. I’m gentle, patient, and attentive to body language, especially with shy or anxious pets. You’ll receive regular updates and photos for peace of mind while you’re away.

I know how to take good care of dogs and cat as I grew up watching and learning from my mom how worked at a animals shelter. I am willing to work out time that are need. At the moment I’m in college but my time is flexible. About: Growing up, my family relied on me to take care of our family dogs and when I moved out, I adopted a rescue dog of my own, Zuko. He’s a mutt and I adopted him when he was a very energetic puppy. I worked on training with him, learning basic commands, crate training, leash training, house training, and general behavior. He responded well to the training and now 4 years later, is super well adjusted, but didn’t lose that silly personality. I’ve dog sat 4 other dogs of friends and family in the past couple years. I had them stay over night with me, but usually I come to their house for dinner, potty breaks, and/or walks. I prefer this method so I can get out of the house and stay active! I walk my own dog Zuko almost every day, weather permitting and have lots of experience with energetic dogs with big personalities and I love it! I would love to be able to spend time with other dogs and help their owners with their busy lifestyle. I currently work from home as a Disney travel agent and set my own hours and schedule, so my dog walking schedule is very open! I treat my own dog with great care. I don’t have kids of my own, so he truly is my pride and joy and I know many other pet owners feel the same about their own. I really treat all pets like my own and many of my friends and family and acquaintances have trusted them to my care. You can refer to my references for more information!

About: I've been taking care of my pets for years, I've taught them basic commands like sitting down, bending down, I have their schedules and I love playing with them I currently have all the time available to take care of your pets, So I can take them for a walk in the morning schedule, Take care of them while they go out to work, and even take care of them if they go on vacation I respect the routine that the person tells me, they sleep inside the house, go for a walk and play with their all time possible

If you need regular/ consistent care I am open to make my availability work. I regularly take my own dogs on long walks. I am very thorough and make sure to spend as much time as I can to make your baby happy and tail wagging.
