“Lupita is my new hero! My sitter fell through last minute and I contacted Lupita on Dec. 29 about watching my cat Dec. 31-Jan. 2- a tall order. She not only responded immediately, but came over that evening in a torrential downpour for a meet-and-greet. Violet took to her right away and I was able to go out of town without worrying. Lupita send daily updates/correspondence and I came home to a happy cat and clean house (I have yet to ever find another sitter who actually does a decent job cleaning the litter box and cleaning up scattered litter). I'll definitely hire Lupita again and highly recommend her!”

Whether your dog is a mellow senior, a wild child in training, or just your average well-behaved snugglebug, I offer structure, enrichment, affection, and the kind of consistency pets thrive on. I also have hands-on experience with cats, small animals (like guinea pigs and rats), reptiles, and even farm animals like pigs and ducks. If it has paws, claws, hooves, or scales — chances are, I’ve cared for it. When it’s a good fit, I love incorporating dogs into my daily life — whether that’s a nature walk, a car ride to town, or just relaxing outside. But I never take dogs to dog parks or chaotic spaces. If something feels too stimulating or simply isn’t right for your pet, we skip it — no pressure, no push. And if your pup is the stay-home-and-cuddle type? That works for me too. I always ask about behavior, routines, and preferences ahead of time and spend the first day or two getting a read on what your pet is capable of and comfortable with. My goal is to help every animal feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for in a way that honors who they are. I work from home full time! I have several clients but the type of work allows me to be extremely flexible for your pets! I know while some pets can just hang out while I work, others may need more care, enrichment or a closer eye - I can and will accommodate accordingly. Just let me know what your pet needs ❤️ When sitting at your home I prefer to stick to the spaces your pets are most comfortable in or used to as well as stick to a similar routine. I find this helps with separation anxiety and any confusion the pets may have since their favorite human is gone! If possible, I like to take dogs for a longer walk on the first day to help us bond and help me learn how they behave. For other pets, this may look more like a longer playtime, enrichment activity, etc. I want to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible with me in their space so that first day is important to me!

About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I’ve lived my entire life. I grew up with a golden retriever named Arwen, and from 8th grade on, I was fully responsible for her walks, training, and care. I even started waking up an hour earlier every day just to make sure she got her morning walk in before school! Later, when I moved to the U.S. for college, I helped raise and train my roommate’s husky puppy, Ava, who struggled with separation anxiety. I’d take her to class, skate with her to tire her out, and help her stay calm and confident. It was like co-parenting a very energetic fur baby—and I loved every minute. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities—from hyper puppies to senior dogs with medical needs. My husband and I pet sat for two elderly Bichon Frises (17 years old!) every year while their owners traveled, carefully managing their diet, medications, and gentle exercise. I’ve also grown to love cats after living with Archie—my first real cat roommate—and have experience gently brushing, bonding, and caring for both indoor and stray cats (I even accidentally helped my mom adopt a kitten when I took in a stray!). Most recently, I taught my in-laws’ senior dog Ellie new tricks at the age of 7, proving that even older pups can learn with patience and love. We can’t have pets in our home right now due to landlord restrictions, so pet sitting is how I stay connected to what I love most—animals. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I genuinely enjoy making them feel safe, happy, and loved while their humans are away. I am a bioengineering Ph.D. Student, most of the time I have freedom of picking my hours, as well as working from home when needed! I always start by learning as much as I can about your pet’s routine, preferences, health needs, and quirks. Whether it’s medication schedules, feeding routines, or special toys they love—I’m here to follow your instructions to a T. I do my best to keep your pet’s day feeling as normal as possible while you’re away. I’m extremely respectful of your home and always aim to leave it just as you left it (or better!). I double-check doors and windows, never leave pets unsupervised outside, and keep a tidy, pet-safe environment throughout the stay. I also send regular updates—photos, videos, and check-ins—so you can relax knowing your fur baby is happy and well cared for. If you ever need in-my-home care in the future (pending landlord approval!), my goal would be to provide a cozy, stress-free space that’s clean, safe, and set up to meet your pet’s unique needs.

She is always reliable and I always feel secure that she is not only taking care of the food and litter box needs of Charlie but also giving him love and attention during each visit. My little guy is a super social cat who gets lonely when left alone but thanks to Amanda, he's always happy when I get back from trips. Amanda really came through for us during one visit when one of Charlie's anal sacks ruptured. She texted me right away and at my request, she took him to the emergency room and kept me updated the whole time (while I was running to the airport to catch the first flight back home I could) and took Charlie to my friends house so that he would be taken care of until I was able to get home. About: Hi there! I have plenty of experience working with all sorts of animals, I volunteered at the SF zoo handling various small mammals, reptiles, birds, etc. I have babysitting experience under my belt as well and I know that your pet is your baby, so rest assured you are in good hands. My best friend and housemate is also a vet tech, if it eases your mind at all. I'm currently working part time as a waitress at a restaurant 4 times a week. My current schedule is Tuesdays 11-6pm, then Fridays-Sundays I work the closing shift 4-11pm. I am free all day Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays but am able to work before/after some times on the days that I work my main job! I have done husbandry care for tiny little coral, feeding them like clockwork and making sure they have all that they need, so if your animal has any dietary restrictions or allergies I am more than capable of handling all of their needs so long as instructions are provided.

About: i've grown up surrounded by animals, and always had a knack for taking care of them. i've worked with everything from a service dog in training to grumpy senior cats, and loved all of it. there's no odd request (like doing a dance before dinner), unique problems (like wobbly cats), or basic challenges i can't handle. i'll treat your pets like my own im currently a full time student which give me tons of flexibility in scheduling. generally speaking im available ever weekday after noon but if needed i can always make time for your furry friend! About: Hi, I'm Kaila! I am an animal loving college student with a lifetime of experience in pet care. I grew up with a vast array of animals who often were left under my watch. I have taken care of cats, little dogs, big dogs, and bunnies. All sizes and ages of pets are welcome! I have experience with puppy/kitten care, senior care, cats, small dogs, and big dogs! I'm well versed in (lovingly) tricking pets into taking their medication, ensuring they get proper exercise/enrichment, and cleaning up after them. At the moment I am free everyday aside from Sundays from 8-3pm. I am very flexible and able to meet you and your pets schedule! While I am not able to board your pets at my house, I can care for them in yours. To ensure your pets safety, comfort, and happiness I will take the time to get an understanding of their routine, personality, and any specific rules you have in place. About: I have walked dogs for a few friends, and a few different sizes of dogs. I haven't met a dog that I did not like for just about as long as I remember. I just love helping people and dogs. In a lot of ways dogs are like people that is to say each dog should be treated like that one dog as they all have personalities, habits and histories of their own. I have for about three years walked dogs and house sat for dogs my good friend Bruce, For the most part two Terriers but recently I have also walked his bigger dog, it's a mutt and acts a lot like a cat. I hope to hear from you soon and I just want to wish you and your doggo a good day-oh. I have a rather open day as i only work part time. I can workaround most schedules. I wake up early and stay up late most days. I do not mind working weekend I do not have housing that lets me have pets, well at least right now. I plan on moving to a better place soon. In terms of other people's homes I think the number one issue is make sure pets are only let in places they are aloud to be in.

About: I have lived in a home with 10 dogs my entire life. Due to this, I've learned the skills that are needed to care for furry friends big and small. I have a great dane puppy and a senior lab in the same home and can confidently manage the needs of any pup you have. Not only have I cared for my own animals, but animals of my friends, coworkers, and employers. I have been trusted by many members of my community to provide pet care that meets whatever needs you may have! I am currently a student at the University of California Santa Cruz and have plenty of time between and after classes to spend with your pup.
