About: As a cat and dog owner myself, I aim to keep your pet happy and healthy under my care, leaving you worry-free. I’m also great with tiny, seniors and nervous pets. I work from home so my schedule is usually pretty flexible for your convenience. I also don’t mind late night appointments. I may be unavailable during mornings, inquire when making reservation. I’m very respectful to your pets home environment and give close attention to all rules and needs. I’ll make sure to keep your pet and your home secure and safe.

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience and calm, confident approach to pet care. I grew up caring for a German Shepherd and, starting at 16, three bulldogs—so I’m comfortable with big personalities, strong breeds, and all the drool that comes with them! I’ve also dog-sat for friends and taken their pups on regular walks, including those with anxiety or special routines. I’m patient, observant, and always make sure pets feel safe and loved while their humans are away. Whether your dog needs a running buddy, your senior cat needs a quiet companion, or your anxious pup just needs someone who understands—I’m here. I’m a morning person with a flexible schedule. Avid runner so can work with high energy dogs. I’m also available for evening walks and check-ins—perfect for pets with routines or extra energy. I’m able to provide more schedule details. I prioritize comfort, safety, and trust. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality and routine—whether that’s quiet companionship for cats or daily walks and play for dogs. On walks, I stay alert and avoid unfamiliar dogs unless I have permission to interact, always keeping your pet’s safety first. For cats, I create a calm, low-stress environment, keep their space tidy, and respect their boundaries.

“I highly, highly recommend Samantha to care for your pets! She took amazing care of my dog, Percy, and I am so grateful for the peace of mind I had knowing he was in her care. Excellent communication and such conscientious and loving pet care!”

“Yena was very communicative before the drop in to make sure she could provide the best care for our dog, who can sometimes be hard to win over. It is clear that she has lots of experience with many different types of dogs, and ours felt comfortable right away. We hope to book with Yena in the future!”

“Jiayi was very communicative and professional. She was great with our cats and she got our normally shy kitties to warm up fairly quickly! We could tell she gave our cats a lot of love and attention. Would recommend her to other fellow cat owners!”

“Norah was fantastic taking care of my cat! She did a great job keeping her fed, liter clean, and playing with her. I loved the photos she sent to me too. My fur baby was left in great hands. I look forward to working with Norah again.”

“Jes was a great drop-in visitor for our cat, Moby. There was prompt and helpful communication throughout and we felt like Moby was in good hands. He also takes awesome pictures during his visits.”

“Shirley was super efficient and kind- appreciate her coming through pretty last minute for a drop in for our senior rescue pitbull mix who is also deaf :) would definitely hire again”

About: With over a decades worth of experience as a professional animal trainer, I have specialized in training service dogs, police k-9s, and behavior modification for both dogs and cats with behavioral issues. As a lifelong animal enthusiast and pet owner myself, I have had the privilege of caring for a variety of exotic animals, including bunnies, rats, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, jellyfish, and reptiles. I hold both my AKC Canine Good Citizen Certification along with my Pet First Aid and CPR Certification. I am passionate about providing personalized care and training for pets of all kinds. Whether you're looking for professional dog training, walking, or boarding services - or reliable care for your exotic pets - I'm here to help ensure your animals thrive in a safe, nurturing environment. I'm currently working full time as an animal trainer and caregiver, providing an open and flexible schedule that allows me to fully commit to your pet's individual needs! I take detailed notes to learn everything about caring for your pet while you're away. This ensures that the care I provide is entirely consistent to the care you provide your own pets. As a trainer, I understand how crucial it is to provide consistency and structure to your animal's routine. While you're away during your pet's stay, we send photo and video updates daily, so that you can see that while you're on vacation, they're enjoying their own vacation too!

“Yvonne has great energy and is an excellent communicator. She took care of my two cats for four days and it was obvious when I returned that they were well taken care of. “Debra did an amazing job watching over my small, senior, angel dog. She was very communicative, thoughtful, and kind. I was able to go on vacation without worrying about my dog at all knowing he was under her care. I would absolutely book again.”

Heather S.
“Our family has been absolutely thrilled with Heather Simpson’s exceptional training and boarding services. During his one-week board and train, Coltrane, our sweet 3-year-old goldendoodle, made remarkable progress under Heather’s guidance, learning skills that we’ve been able to build on ever since. Her expertise and genuine care laid a solid foundation for his continued improvement, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Beyond training, the personalized attention and love Coltrane receives when boarding with Heather make her our trusted choice whenever we need to travel. To Coltrane, Heather feels like part of the family, and it’s obvious he absolutely loves his time with her. One of the things we appreciate most is how thoughtful Heather is in keeping us updated with photos and videos while we’re away—it’s often the highlight of our trip! Her kindness and thoughtfulness in doing this means so much to us. We wholeheartedly recommend Heather for both dog training and boarding—she’s simply the best!”

Sophie F.
“Sophie has been walking our dog a few times a week for the past couple months, and she’s been amazing. She’s super reliable, always on time, and communicates clearly. We get a quick update after every walk with a photo and any notes we should know. Our dog isn’t always the easiest…he pulls a bit and can be reactive around other dogs - but sophie handles it really calmly and confidently. He clearly trusts her, and he gets excited when she shows up, which tells me a lot. Sophie is a kind, dependable person who really cares about animals. We’re grateful to have found her.”

Golden Gate pet parents share their Rover experiences
Yena was absolutely wonderful! 100/100 would book her again! This was my first time using Rover or any dog watching service/platform for Emmy and I couldn't have asked for a better experience or person. From the start, Yena was very kind, professional, and helpful in the booking and meet&greet process. She was flexible and accommodating with my last minute request as my original plan for the weekend fell through. The meet & greet went really well with Emmy, and Yena asked all the questions that make a pet owner feel comfortable and confident leaving their loved one in her hands. During the booking, Yena sent thorough and fun updates along with several photos of each drop by and tracked her routines even reaching out a day where Emmy didn't finish her food but noted that she was still excited about treats. Reassuring me that she cared about Emmy, wanted to know if I felt anything was off, and understood the stress some animals can experience when their owners are away. She even washed her food and water bowls that were getting a little grimy! I felt 100% comfortable, confident, and at ease that Emmy was in good hands with Yena. 10/10 would recommend her for your pet! THANK YOU YENA!!!

Another fun trip where I had zero worries about my old kitties - about one getting his meds and one getting all his pets. Laura is patient and loving with my little family and effortlessly low-drama to do business with. I feel very grateful to be able to count on her caring for my beloveds. Thanks, Laura!!

Emily was absolutely wonderful with my cat, Lou. Lou is an older kitty who can be a little particular, but Emily was so kind, patient, and attentive with her. She took the time to make sure Lou was comfortable, kept me updated with photos and messages, and gave her lots of love and care while I was away. I came home to a happy, relaxed cat, which is the best feeling.

Artemis has been an incredibly cat sitter for the last two trips I’ve had. I appreciated their warm energy and thorough attention to detail during the meet and greet. My second trip I was off grid without knowing. What could have been an exit inducing situation was made easier because I was confident my fur babies would be well taken care of by Artemis. I would definitely recommend Artemis to anyone looking for an experienced, thoughtful, and well attuned cat sitter!

Cara was so caring, responsive, and also very responsible. I was initially worried about leaving my cat for two weeks but I left him in very good hands with Cara. I especially appreciated all the photos she sent and the little daily updates! My cat loved her. I was able to relax knowing that I had a very sweet and reliable sitter.

Kimberly is truly exceptional! From the moment we connected, her communication has been clear, prompt, and professional. She is incredibly reliable and goes above and beyond to make sure our pup, Baci, is well cared for and happy. Baci absolutely adores her — it’s clear she has a natural way with dogs and brings a calm, confident energy to every walk. As a dog owner, it’s such a relief to know my pup is in such capable and caring hands. I can’t recommend Kimberly highly enough!

Tina was very communicative and took great care of our cats while we were away. She even brought them a new toy which they love. She was very accommodating about following our absurdly detailed feeding instructions and even helped us bring in mail / take out our trash recycling on pick up day. We really, extremely appreciate it, thank you!!
