About: Hi, my name is Jennifer and I'm new to Rover but not pet care! I have passionately been working in Animal Care, Welfare and Rescue for 10 years now, my entire adult life! I have 10 years of history working in doggy daycares with dog and cat boarding and animal shelters. I have also volunteered with dogs, cats, rats, goats, pigs, horses and more. About: I have taken care of family/friends dogs and cats for walking and feeding as well as needed car rides to the park! I have watched hamsters as well. I am a teacher in my neighborhood so it is easy to get to local houses right after school for walks. My daughter is away at college during the school year and have many weekends free. I have a fenced in back yard and have 3 cats. I have watched neighbors dogs when they go on vacation and walk them at the park as well.

Kara did a fantastic job watching our 3 dogs (a 3-year-old rescue and two 14.5- year-old cockapoos). It was the first time we had to leave our pups with someone they had only met during a Meet & Greet. She came twice a day to let them out and feed them. Each time she came she sent pictures or videos of all 3 pups. Since the cockapoos are elderly, they would sometimes not want to eat or would not take their medications. She would always contact me if she was unsure what she should do. Her concern for the welfare of my dogs allowed me to rest assured that they were well cared for while we were on vacation.
