About: I have five years of professional dog care in many different spheres. I have previously managed two different kennels, groomed many dogs around Richmond, and am K9-CPR certified. I have experience training puppies, adults, and seniors basic obedience, leash manners, and beginner agility. I am well versed in administering medications. Prior to working with dogs as a career, I have experience caring for many dogs over my life, from family pets to petsitting in the neighborhood. About: I grew up with a black lab and enjoy taking care of my neighbors’ pets growing up. I love all dogs and used to foster for a couple years. Now I volunteer at the animal shelter and help walk dogs and feed. I work from home and would love to have your pet here too. My schedule is flexible and can visit/ stay at your home too. About: I'm a nurse, so, I typically work 3 days a week and have the other 4 off which makes for a lot of availability and flexibility to help walk or watch your fur baby! I have a dog named Butch, he was a stray from Puerto Rico that was basically feral when I got him. I successfully domesticated and trained him and he's turned into the sweetest, chill dog ever! Butch has skin issues and separation anxiety, so, I also have experience in administering oral and injectable medications. I'd be happy to use whatever commands and training techniques you use with your pet as well. I typically work three 12hr shifts a week and they are usually week days so I am frequently available Thursday-Sunday for long weekends to watch or walk your dog and some weeks I'm available a day or two earlier in the week. I have a lot of flexibility and availability for the weekends and toward the end of the week though! I have a 6ft privacy fence in the backyard, my neighborhood is very walkable with sidewalks, and a sweet dog named Butch who is about 6 who will easily and quickly become friends with your fur baby. Pets are allowed on furniture and beds in my home but I am willing to crate yours if that is what you prefer!

A meet and greet is preferred but not necessary (free of charge) * please be aware that my 5 year old daughter willbe with me. I have a fenced in backyard, but enjoy taking walks around the neighborhood if a pet is healthy enough to do so. I keep my cats completely indoors. Crate trained animals are preferred.
