My dog Luna had just been diagnosed with kidney disease, and I was overwhelmed. Ami came over to administer subQ fluids, which have been a struggle for me to do on my own because it was so stressful for my dog. Ami taught me things the vet never mentioned, so that the experience was less stressful for Luna, such as warming the bag of fluids, the position to hold my dog in and how to distract her with treats. She even recommended needles that are thinner, and I was amazed my dog didn’t even react when she poked her! She is also working with me on a specialty diet specifically for CKD which is already helping with her nausea and appetite. I am so relieved to have found Ami - she is an invaluable resource, and true animal whisperer. And our kitties approve too, they absolutely love her! Thanks again Ami!!!”

It's my priority to make you comfortable about trusting me with your pet(s). I'm caring, dependable, energetic, and look forward to taking care of your family member! I keep my availability up to date on the calendar. I'm available for short or extended visits and walks in the evenings and on weekends. No breed preferences. I'm open to taking walks or going for a run on nearby trails or sidewalks depending on your dog's ability and/or energy level.
About: I have taken care of and owned dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs since I was a kid. I have fostered numerous puppies/dogs and ended up with 2 foster fails of my own!! I have trained, bathed, and administered medication. There isn't a breed I haven't come in contact with! I currently work full time out of my home. I am always available Monday-Thursday after 4:30; Friday after 1:00 and anytime on Saturday & Sundays. I am able to visit your fur baby for walks, let out to potty, or just hang out with them for a little extra loving. I work full time but can do drop ins morning and evenings and all day weekends. Schedules are flexible. Just let me know your pets needs. I do have two cats that love dogs. But if your dog isn’t cat friendly, I have options to deal with that situation if it arises.

About: I am home all day, working. I like to go on short and long walks. I have done over night house sitting for two cats and a labradoodle. I have taken care of a mixed Norwegian puppy. I have lived with my German shepherd for 10 years. I currently work from home, and take multiple walk breaks throughout the day. Since I work from home I can also stay longer with your pet as long as it’s okay for me to take my work laptop and work from the house. I follow the rules, if the dog needs to be kept in a crate just please let me know and I will happily do what is needed.
