“This was our second time using Jaime, Mike and their family, and once again they took exceptional care of our dog. They gave her so much love, attention, and affection, and the daily updates and photos were wonderful. It was clear from every picture that she was having an amazing time and truly living her best life! Our dog has IVDD, so we have to be careful about limiting jumping and protecting her back. They were incredibly accommodating with the extra equipment we brought, including stairs for the sofa and a gate to block access to stairs. Their willingness to help us maintain her routine and keep her safe gave us tremendous peace of mind. Mike even took the time to repair the broken dog crate we brought, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. We are so grateful to have found such a caring, attentive family to look after our sweet girl. We would absolutely recommend them and will continue to book with them in the future!”

Bruno has a daily skin care routine and requires medications, and Richard handled everything perfectly. By the time we picked Bruno up, his skin honestly looked better than when we dropped him off. Richard is clearly experienced and confident administering all types of medications, including injections, which gave me a huge sense of relief and comfort. It’s not easy to find someone you fully trust with a dog that has medical needs, but I felt completely comfortable leaving Bruno in his care. We had daily updates which put our minds at ease You can tell Richard genuinely loves dogs. Bruno got constant attention, enjoyed his backyard, and clearly loved spending time with Richard and his family. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Bruno was being cared for like part of the family. We will absolutely book with Richard again. Richard is officially our new Rover when we go on vacation.”

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 23. I love to pet and feed them. I treat dogs as part of the family. I am home full time and have plenty of time to care for dogs that need care. I also have two dogs of my own. We start our day at 6:30AM. I prepare and feed the dogs at 7AM, 12:00PM, and again at 5:00PM (If they are hungry). I let the dogs run in the yard for 30 minutes, after each feeding, i when the weather permits. We walk in the mornings, rhen again in the evenings. Dental treats and regular treats are given daily.

We had our own family dog growing up, he was a border collie and I loved working with training him. I expanded caring for animals to include sitting for my family members and neighbors around middle school, throughout high school and during college. I have since had 2 other family dogs, and now I have 2 cats at home. I have experiences working with puppies, kittens, special needs animals (tripods, medical conditions, needing medicine, hearing/visual impairments), and I understand each animal has unique needs and personalities just like us. This can look like using different approaches to work with and support animals. Professionally, I have extensive behavior training I use with my “human” work that transfers to helping adjust how I care for my animal friends. Anxious? That’s ok, I’ll go slow, let them approach me and minimize eye contact. Tell me how to best support your pet and I’m there! Currently I am working from home most days of the week. This allows me to have the flexibility to come in the morning, midday, and evening hours! On the weekends, flexibility is here! I thrive on excellent communication and will work to ensure my hours are up to date. Professionally I have years of customer engagement that required home visits and time in client’s homes. I understand, value, and respect every home setting. I will ask to know where pet items are, where any backups could be found, and things like cleaning supplies if an accident happens.
About: I grew up taking care of our family dogs as well as having my own dogs as an adult. Sadly, my pup passed away earlier this year and while I am not ready to get another dog of my own, I am excited to help care for yours and give you peace of mind while you are away. I have had little and big dogs in my life and am open to all sizes. Your dog does need to get along well with children as my kids love to play with dogs. They are also used to having a senior dog around as our dog aged so they also know when to give a dog space and be gentle. I work from home most days and your dog will have free rain of our house. They gave her so much love, attention, and affection, and the daily updates and photos were wonderful. It was clear from every picture that she was having an amazing time and truly living her best life! Our dog has IVDD, so we have to be careful about limiting jumping and protecting her back. They were incredibly accommodating with the extra equipment we brought, including stairs for the sofa and a gate to block access to stairs. Their willingness to help us maintain her routine and keep her safe gave us tremendous peace of mind. Mike even took the time to repair the broken dog crate we brought, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture.
