“Jamie, Mike and the whole family were amazing. It was very easy to book with Jamie and Mike. They were very quick to respond to my initial inquiry and answer any questions I had. They also asked questions and provided details about siting with them, that helped put my mind at ease, since I always worry about being separated from my pup. They were also very good communicating. Making sure we found a drop off and pick up time that works for us both, to sending multiple updates and photos on how my pup was doing while there. I am so grateful they opened their beautiful home, and shared their lovely family with Benjie. If available in the future, I would certainly use them to sit again, and would highly recommend them.”

“Chaoran genuinely loves dogs and took great care of my dog. As a first-time pet owner, I appreciated helpful advice she shared when I asked. I really appreciate her great service.”

“Richard took phenomenal care of my dog, Bruno, and I could not recommend him more highly. He truly went above and beyond during Bruno’s stay. Bruno has a daily skin care routine and requires medications, and Richard handled everything perfectly. By the time we picked Bruno up, his skin honestly looked better than when we dropped him off. Richard is clearly experienced and confident administering all types of medications, including injections, which gave me a huge sense of relief and comfort. It’s not easy to find someone you fully trust with a dog that has medical needs, but I felt completely comfortable leaving Bruno in his care. We had daily updates which put our minds at ease You can tell Richard genuinely loves dogs. Bruno got constant attention, enjoyed his backyard, and clearly loved spending time with Richard and his family. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Bruno was being cared for like part of the family. We will absolutely book with Richard again. Richard is officially our new Rover when we go on vacation.”

“Maria was wonderful to work with and took very good care of my male lab while I was on a four-day trip. I will book with her again on Rover and highly recommend her.”

“Stacie was an absolute amazing! She took care of both my dogs; Duke and Rosie, for six days. Rosie stayed with Stacie before, but it was the first time for Duke. Stacie sent photos of both dogs multiple times a day. Duke had a knee surgery couple of years ago, so we were a little concerned, but Stacie was very cautious so he doesn’t hurt himself playing. Rosie is an anxious dog and takes a little time to warm up to people, but has no trouble introducing herself with other dogs, Stacie put us as ease! She provides regular updates throughout the day. In every photo, my dogs looked happy and well cared for. Duke and Rosie were shown a lot of love and attention during their time with Stacie and they came home happy and healthy. I could not have asked for a better person to look after both my dogs. We love Stacie! You are truly an awesome and so good with our two dogs. Many thanks again. We really appreciate all you’ve done with both Duke and Rosie!”

“Danielle was amazing! Very communicative and sent tons of pictures/videos. Kai’lo had a blast with all his new friends and was even very sad when he got picked up. Thank you for taking such great care of him! Will definitely continue booking with her.”

“Darnell and his wonderful family took care of our 2 doodles upon (very) last minute request over Father’s Day weekend. We received many photos of our good girls and several texts letting us know they were doing. Our girls got along well with their 3 dogs and were nice and tired when we got home! Highly recommend using Darnell and we will definitely be repeat customers. ??”

“Beth was wonderful with our puppy. She was very responsive and kept us updated throughout the stay without being overwhelming, which we really appreciated. She was clearly prepared and already had everything she needed to provide great care, which made boarding prep so easy and stress-free for us. Her yard is spacious and perfect for dogs to play safely. She even sent him home with the sweetest little thank-you gift. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for thoughtful, attentive care.”

“Leslie is incredibly kind and attentive. She took my dog out for a lot of exercise, and kept him happy and safe while I was away. She provided plenty of photos and video updates and followed instructions to a T. She has a big backyard and comfortable looking house in a quiet neighborhood. My dog is usually pretty shy and can take a long time to warm up to new sitters, but he was right at home with Leslie. I would definitely recommend her to others, and plan to book with her again in the future.”

“Caroline was really amazing! Her communication throughout the whole process was quick and helpful. When dropping our pup Kia off, I let her know that she’s been going through a lot recently with a move to a new place and all. Caroline and Ryan took extra great care of her with this in mind and even let her stay in their basement away from the other dogs. I’ll definitely use Caroline’s services again and would highly recommend!”

“Big thank you to Noelle for keeping our puppy this weekend! From the warm greeting, to the beautifully captured pictures and open communication was truly amazing experience. We were very satisfied with her friendly, warm and positive energy! Thank you again!”

“Ashley and her family took great care of our cat MJ! The pictures Ashley sent of MJ having fun makes us smile and laugh. We have to ask ourselves, “is that our cat?” because MJ is so comfortable and out going with Ashley and her family. Ashley - thank you for the great care you give to MJ!”

“Muffin had the most wonderful 2 week stay at Deb’a house and loved hanging out with her darling dog, Trixie. We received pictures and updates from Deb on a regular basis and she was so kind to give Muffin a bath at a very short notice. Deb’s house was a home away from our own home for Muffin and I look forward to boarding Muffin in the future for sure. Hunter kept Muffin company and Muffin was so happy there! Thank you Deb for opening your house up for Muffin and loving on him while we were away!”
“Corey was always very responsive and accommodating. We were delayed on our way home when we missed a connecting flight and Corey stayed an extra day with Duke. He was very happy when I picked him up. I would highly recommend Corey as a sitter.”

“Our dog had a wonderful 11 days with this amazing family!! The consistent photos and updates were so reassuring. He had a great time and really loved their pets as well! We felt he was loved and taken care of so well during the trip we know we want to have him stay there for future trips! Loved the communication and flexibility of this family!”

“Katherine was great. Our dog spent a week with her and got accustomed to her fairly quick. She’s great at responding when messaged and sends us pictures on a daily basis. We’ll definitely be reaching out to her again.”

“First time using Rover was definitely scary but she sent me pictures of my dog while he was boarding with her and took such good care of him as well. Would recommend to anyone who’s looking at an overnight.”

“Kelly is simply the best! Our flight back from our recent vacation was delayed due to weather. When I reached out to ask if we could possibly extend our booking, she said "whatever you need!". I can't tell you how much I appreciated that. It was such a relief to not have to worry about my cats while trying to figure everything else out. That's just one of the meant reasons why Kelly is the only person I trust with my cats!”

“As a repeat client of Danielle’s, we are very grateful for her help in caring for our kitty, Buddy, while we were out of town. Danielle is so great to work with-taking care to follow your guidelines/schedule regarding care and feeding, yet making that care seem easy, like you are working with a pet-loving family member. And feeling comfortable while you are away, that all will be well with your pet, that confidence is priceless. Thank you Danielle!”
“Melissa was very attentive to our meeting cat while we were on vacation and took on the task on giving her daily medication. We got daily updates and pictures which was very nice to see. We are definitely contacting her next time! ?”
“Marjorie was absolutely amazing! She is highly responsive and took the extra time to patiently befriend my skittish kitty. She also made sure to play with my other kitty during every visit and even watered my outside plants as an extra bonus. I highly recommend her!”

About: As a kid me and my family would rescue and foster cats all the time since we lived in a common spot for people to dump cats. I've owned 5 at once!! I love them all and they are one of my favorite animals whether theyre sassy, chill, or shy.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs of all sizes and have 6 years of experience making sure pets stay happy and healthy while their owners are away. I have a ton of energy for long walks, park trips, and playing fetch for high-energy dogs, but I also can be calm and relaxed for senior dogs. Because I study at home, my schedule is very flexible, which is perfect for house-sitting! I can spend the majority of my day at your home, ensuring your pet is never left alone for long periods. I’m available for overnight stays during the week and on weekends, and I make it a priority to stick to your pet's specific walking and feeding routine so their day feels totally normal while you're away. I take the responsibility of staying in your home very seriously. I am extremely diligent about home security—always double-checking that doors and windows are locked and that your pet is secure before I step out. I pride myself on leaving your home exactly as I found it (or cleaner!). I’m also a very frequent communicator; I love sending daily photo updates and quick 'check-ins' so you never have to wonder how things are going.
“Ella was absolutely wonderful! Extremely professional in her communication, always timely, I felt very safe leaving my cats to her services. Ella’s reviews speak for themselves, I will absolutely be booking her services again if I get the opportunity!”

“We hired Alexandra for drop-ins for our cat and she was great! At our first meeting she immediately was sitting on the floor giving our cat the affection he was requesting, and he was so happy. While we were gone she gave him all the cuddles he needed (we could tell by his behavior when we returned) and she followed the instructions we left. She always responded to messages quickly and communicated clearly. Definitely recommend.”

“Samantha was great! She was responsive, thorough, and sent pictures of my cats every time she dropped in. She even got my shy cat to come up to her! Highly recommend!”

“Laurie is excellent with my fur baby, Ava. Patient. Laurie is easy to work with, and flexible. This is the first pet sitter my cat allowed to be picked up. I highly recommend Laurie.”

“Christi was absolutely amazing taking care of our little Minji! This was our first time using a pet sitter and we were hesitant but Christi dissolved any of our worries. Not only was she super attentive and sweet to our little kitty, she also sent us detailed updates each day with some of the cutest pictures we have ever had of Minji. Christi will forever be our go-to and she should be yours too!”

“Isabelle did a great job with my two senior kitties. She paid special attention to the health of one of them who I’m worried about. Made sure they were both eating and getting some extra protein and played with them. She was reliable and very timely, kept to her schedule as discussed and took care of the little pans. Will hire her again!”

“Tammy took wonderful care of our cat while we were away! She sent the best pictures, kept us updated, and our cat clearly had a lot of fun- the action shots were our favorite to see! We’ll definitely continue to use Tammy for our cat and will use her in the future for our dogs (they absolutely loved her when they met during the meet and greet). Thanks so much, Tammy!”

“I have complete trust in Deb. She treated by baby with such care. She went over the top!! She walked my dog twice in a short stay. Sent me pictures and texts. I was a bit late and Deb was understanding and chill. I couldn't be more happy with the treatment my dog received. I highly recommend Deb to everyone!”

About: I grew up taking care of our family dogs as well as having my own dogs as an adult. Sadly, my pup passed away earlier this year and while I am not ready to get another dog of my own, I am excited to help care for yours and give you peace of mind while you are away. I have had little and big dogs in my life and am open to all sizes. Your dog does need to get along well with children as my kids love to play with dogs. They are also used to having a senior dog around as our dog aged so they also know when to give a dog space and be gentle. I work from home most days and your dog will have free rain of our house. I love walks outside and if your dog likes to play with kids we have 5 of them that love dogs. They are also used to senior dogs so know how to be gentle. We do have stairs so your dog needs to be comfortable on stairs or small enough to carry. I will follow whatever your food/med/walk routines are.

I also have two dogs of my own. We start our day at 6:30AM. I prepare and feed the dogs at 7AM, 12:00PM, and again at 5:00PM (If they are hungry). I let the dogs run in the yard for 30 minutes, after each feeding, i when the weather permits. We walk in the mornings, rhen again in the evenings. Dental treats and regular treats are given daily.
“Thank you, Ellen! Our pup Cici had and awesome time. She usually doesn't eat when she is at a sitter for the first time. So, we knew she felt safe and at home when she ate while she was there. We loved all the photos, and we could tell she had fun because she slept like a puppy when she came home. We will definitely see you again!”

“Taylor was wonderful with our puppy! This was his very first time with a sitter, and she made the experience so easy and reassuring. She was patient, kind, and helped him warm up to her dogs quickly. We really appreciated the regular updates and photos—it gave us peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. We feel confident about leaving him for boarding thanks to how well the day care went. Highly recommend!”

“Nicole is amazing! She has watched my 5 month old puppy Rosie a few times now for daycare and is so caring and responsive. Overall, highly recommend and will definitely be bringing my dog back in the future!”

About: I’ve spent decades loving and caring for all kinds of animals, dogs, cats, birds, etc, so you can say I’m pretty fluent in ‘pet’! I’m K9 CPR certified, and I also have hands on experience with diabetic and senior pets, giving them the extra care, patience, and attention they deserve. Got a high energy pup? I’m ready to run, play, and burn off that zoomie energy! But really if a 1, 2, or 3 mile run is what your pup needs, then I am your girl! Prefer slow strolls and snuggles? I’m just as happy to take it easy. I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. Most importantly, every pet in my care gets treated like family with lots of love, attention, and tail wagging fun so you can relax knowing they’re in great hands while you’re away! I'm currently working part time, and can make my own schedule pending your pets' needs. I am available most weekdays between 5am-7:30am, 9am-12pm, and anytime after 3:30pm. Weekends are very flexible. I have a fenced in large backyard in Bristow, Virginia. I have a 10yr old German Shepherd, 'Prime', but have the ability to keep pets separate if you should request.
About: I have had dogs all my life. I believe all dogs should be treated as family and must show respect as you would show to your own. I am a physician working from home, so I will be with your pet most of the day. My dog is my coworker when I am working, you can ask her. Dogs at home will be cared for like family and I don’t believe in crates or separate sleeping arrangements. They are allowed wherever we are allowed.
About: Hi, I’m Lily! My pets are truly my babies & and I care for every furry friend with that same level of love and patience. I’ve been caring for animals for over 20 years, ever since I got my first puppy at age 10. Today, my home is filled with two dogs and two cats, so I’m very used to different personalities, routines, and needs. I’ve also used Rover as a pet parent myself and had wonderful sitters, and now I’m excited to offer that same peace of mind to others. I live in a spacious home with a fenced yard, and I work remotely 9–5, which means your fur baby gets plenty of company, walks, and check‑ins throughout the day. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, and pets who need a little extra support or medication. Your pet’s comfort and safety always come first. My two cats stay in a separate room, and I introduce visiting pets slowly and intentionally to keep things calm and stress‑free. And because I know how much updates matter, you can expect lots of photos and messages so you always feel connected. Available to take care of your baby night and day. I am home full time and work remotely 9-5. Weekends are open too. Multiple days stay welcome. Additional rates for an extended stay. Feel free to inquire! A Few Notes for a Smooth Stay 1. Routines: If your baby has a specific routine, please share it. Otherwise, dogs will enjoy walks every 2–3 hours and plenty of yard time. Cats stay indoors only — feel free to bring their favorite toys or comfort items. 2. Feeding: Please provide feeding details so I can follow your pet’s normal schedule. I have clean bowls, leashes, and supplies, but you’re welcome to bring anything that helps your baby feel at home. 3. Emergencies: While I’ve never had an emergency with Rover, I know they can happen. Please share your preferred vet and an emergency contact. I also encourage having a payment method on file with your vet just in case. 4. Home Environment: Kid‑free, smoke‑free, clean home. I also have a basement space available if your pet needs quiet time away from others. I only board one family at a time unless you request otherwise for siblings. 5. Communication: Any and ALL questions are welcome. I want you to feel completely comfortable, and I want your fur baby to feel safe, loved, and right at home.
“Stephanie and her family are phonenominal! My dog had her first visit yesterday and was happy and tired from playing with their awesome dog, who is now her new best friend. I can't say enough about how Stephanie and her family went far above and beyond the call of duty yesterday, for us! I can't give this dog loving family enough accolades!”

About: I’ve always had dogs, I have a mini Labradoodle that turned a year old in January. She is energetic, playful and very friendly. I’m afraid she would likely be too much for a senior dog. Being retired allows me time for walks and playtime. I now have a year-old Labradoodle miniature that has a lot of energy and enjoys playing with other dogs so it’s better to have a younger dog or one who doesn’t mind her energy. I live in a dog friendly community where people know the dogs names more than the owners. We have great areas for walks and socializing. My yard is not fenced but have always taken my dogs for frequent walks.I have blankets for the furniture if the dog wants on the couch, etc.

About: I have had all different types of animals since I was a kid. For the past several years I have spent time fostering cats and dogs as well as adopting my own dog, (who is blind), Willow! I currently have a work from home job that allows for a flexible schedule and availability that can fit the needs of you and your animals! They will be given attention throughout the day and walked as needed. I am home all day to monitor the animal(s) and I have toys, crates of different sizes and gates if they are ever needed. Local to several nature trails and dog parks as well as many dog-friendly establishments that I frequent in warmer weather!
About: I’ve loved animals my entire life. Growing up, our home was always filled with pets, and they were truly part of the family. Our cat lived to be 17—he loved being held like a baby, joined us at the dinner table, and never turned down cuddles. Later, I had a Golden Retriever/Husky mix named Bella, who was by my side for 10 wonderful years. She welcomed both of my daughters home from the hospital, and she’s still a big part of our family’s memories. Today, we have Penny, our lovable Chihuahua/Terrier mix, whom we adopted when she was 9 months old. She keeps us laughing every day and reminds us how much joy a pet brings to a home. As a mom, one of the greatest lessons I can teach my daughters is how to love and care for animals with kindness and compassion. Pets aren’t “just animals” to us—they’re family. I work from home full-time, which gives me the flexibility to provide dependable drop-in visits, walks, and lots of attention throughout the day. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply having someone sit with them for cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I believe walks should be more than just exercise—they’re an adventure full of exciting smells, exploration, and enrichment. I’ll always let your dog set the pace and make sure they have fun while staying safe. When your pet is with me, you can expect: * Plenty of love, attention, and affection * Photo updates during every visit * Respect for your pet’s routine and your home * Reliable, on-time care you can count on * Treating your pet as if they were one of my own I know how hard it is to leave your furry family member in someone else’s care. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your pet is safe, loved, and excited to see me every time I visit. I currently have a full-time job that is work from home. This allows me time to walk my dog, and yours too! It's the breaks in my day that I enjoy it the most! I am a very affectionate, loving pet care taker. I have always spoiled my pets, and others too! The walk is the highlight of my dogs day, so I make sure she gets her sniffs in, and enjoys every second. It's a bonus for me for the exercise! I just enjoy watching her be happy.

About: I’m very good at following owner instructions and very timely, ensuring promptness. I’ve looked over dogs from ages 2-15, so I am able to handle young pups and sweet senior dogs! I’ve taken care of my boyfriend-of-3 years’ dogs(4 of them!), as well as dog-sat throughout high school. I just graduated from William & Mary and starting a full-time job in August, so for the next three months, I have nearly full availability! Aside from a pre-planned trip in late July and plans during the July 4th weekend, I am free for dog walking, dog visits, and dog sitting! I am extremely aware of pet and owner needs. I follow owner instructions diligently, and I provided my undivided attention to the pets I care for.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for my own two dogs and one cat. From daily walks and feeding to playtime and companionship, I’m comfortable with the responsibilities of caring for pets and always prioritize their safety, happiness, and well-being. I’ll care for your pets with the same love and attention I give my own. I am currently on summer break from college and am constantly looking for busy work. I have tons of time for you and your little friends. For my own dogs I walk them plenty throughout the day and love to go hiking or walk on trails with them. I am an active person so plenty of outdoor time with the pups.
About: I’ve grown up with all types of animals since I was a kid including dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens, peacocks, etc. I am comfortable working with most animals and will treat your furry friend as if they were my own. I currently have my own 7yo Boston Terrier/ French Bulldog named Milo! I recently started my doctorate in Clinical Psychology and am looking for ways to make some money in my free time. I am currently free Tuesday afternoons after 2pm and have full time availability on Thursdays and Fridays. I am also open to weekends on a case by case basis. I formerly worked as a probation officer so I am extremely trustworthy, hardworking, and dependable! I am comfortable and respectful working in others’ homes, and will follow all care instructions to meet a pet’s specific needs. Additionally, I am comfortable feeding or administering medications if needed. I will always prioritize your pet’s health and safety, and will likely avoid interactions with other pets unless an owner indicates that their dog is friendly with other animals.
“I was very nervous leaving my puppy alone after 6 months of furlough. Elmer took the time to get to know her and gives her the attention she needs. I am gone for a large part of the day. When I come home she is happy and the house is in one piece.”

“Tammy is absolutely amazing and we feel so lucky to have her care for our Timber! He is totally in love and looks forward to every visit! She is prompt and always checks in! Thank you Tammy for all your help and loving on Timber!!”

About: If I ever win the lottery- I always say I’ll set up my own animal rescue of some kind (in addition to a nice fancy world trip). Since I was a kid, I’ve always been around animals. We had our own family dog growing up, he was a border collie and I loved working with training him. I expanded caring for animals to include sitting for my family members and neighbors around middle school, throughout high school and during college. I have since had 2 other family dogs, and now I have 2 cats at home. I have experiences working with puppies, kittens, special needs animals (tripods, medical conditions, needing medicine, hearing/visual impairments), and I understand each animal has unique needs and personalities just like us. This can look like using different approaches to work with and support animals. Professionally, I have extensive behavior training I use with my “human” work that transfers to helping adjust how I care for my animal friends. Anxious? That’s ok, I’ll go slow, let them approach me and minimize eye contact. Tell me how to best support your pet and I’m there! Currently I am working from home most days of the week. This allows me to have the flexibility to come in the morning, midday, and evening hours! On the weekends, flexibility is here! I thrive on excellent communication and will work to ensure my hours are up to date. Professionally I have years of customer engagement that required home visits and time in client’s homes. I understand, value, and respect every home setting. I will ask to know where pet items are, where any backups could be found, and things like cleaning supplies if an accident happens.

About: I've had dogs since I was born and have always been taking care of them. I specifically have experience with senior pets and puppies, I've helped potty train quite a few puppies. I'm a full time student, so I mostly do pet care in the afternoons. My availability can change based on certain things like exams, but I will always update in a timely manner. I would never expect something of you that I can't do myself! I understand that all pets are different and will always do what's best for them individually. If some need more time getting used to me I don't mind working with this.

“I was a nervous leaving my senior dog with sitters I hadn’t met before, but Iryna and James put me at ease right away. They took such great care of my dog—he looked happy and relaxed in every photo they sent (and they sent plenty of updates, which I really appreciated!). It’s clear they genuinely love and understand dogs, and they treated my pup like one of their own. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again!”

“Eli had a fantastic time with Carolina. He has never been boarded and we had never used Rover, Carolina reassured us that he was in great care and gave us frequent updates. Even gave Eli a new toy to bring home because he loved it so much while with her.”

“This was our first visit with Raji, but you would think our pup had known her for her whole life. She loved it and, aside from being sleepy because she had so much fun, Gryff is happy and health. Thank you Raji !”

“Walter was great! Easy to meet up with to introduce the dogs, has a good routine, and provides plenty of updates and notes the behaviors, pottying, etc… will have him watch Jax again!”

“I am so grateful we found Beth through a friend's suggestion. We planned a family trip to Europe and needed a sitter for our Labrador for two weeks. Beth and her family took Luna into their home and treated her like family. Beth sent us pictures of Luna enjoying life and how she was interacting w their dog and children. After our trip, Beth even brought Luna back to the house for us. I could tell Luna loved Beth and was happy! I highly recommend Beth to take great care of you beloved furry family members!”

“I had a fantastic experience with Amrita! She was wonderful with Jack and really went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. It's clear she genuinely cares about pets and their wellbeing. Highly recommend her services to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring!”

“This was our first time leaving our dog with Catherine. It was obvious that he was well cared for. We could tell from the pictures that Catherine sent with regularity that he was happy and comfortable in her home. He came home today and settled very nicely right back into his routine. We also appreciated Catherine’s flexibility when our flights changed and we had to add on an extra night. We will definitely be using Catherine’s services again in the future.”
