16. Jessica K.
“I known Jessica as a co-worker but one weekend I had to go out of town, I owe two small dogs and a leopard gecko, Jessica volunteer to help me out for free, I thought this was very nice and scheduled a date to introduce my pets and how to take care of then as one of my dogs is older and has specific dietary needs. Jess was so kind to cook his rice and turkey though all the weekend, and hand feed my gecko taking my dogs for long walks and plenty of attention. I felt that with the amount of time and care she taken care of my dogs she deserves to be compensated. That's to say she's an amazing care pet taker, honest, loves animals and takes care of every detail.”
17. Jack S.
“I have known Jack for several years and observed how he interacts with his own animals and animals in public. Jack has a kind heart for dogs. He has owned several dogs and they are obedient and loyal to him, wanting to please him. It is obvious he has the highest standard of care and compassion for his animals. When I was recently caring for one of his dogs, while he was out of the country, the dog became ill. Jack had no hesitation giving me financial support to perform every test the vet recommended. When it was discovered that his dog had a terminal cancer, he authorized us to do anything to keep the dog comfortable and followed the vets recommendations. Although the cost was high, he did not hesitate to provide excellent care and resources for his dog. Jack rescued an aggressive dog and managed to successfully care for this dog with compassion and kind support, while safely introducing him to his family and his other dogs. He was mindful of everything and everyone around him and this dog when he would take him on walks. He was very cautious and able to calmly control this dog. He is amazing when it comes to calm, steady caution to provide safe handling and security for others when in public. In public, Jack has a deep desire to greet animals with their owner's permission. It is obvious that he has a fond interest in dogs and empathsizes with them. He would be extremely trustworthy with someone's pets. I have trusted him with my own dogs in the past. Jack is also an owner of a home health company, providing services to vulnerable senior citizens. He has an amazing reputation in the community, with his (over 150) clients, with his (over 200) caregivers, and with his administrative staff. I believe any one of them would agree he would make an exceptional asset to your company. He genuinely wants to work for you because of his deep desire to care for dogs. Unfortunately, his personal and professional life do not afford him the time he feels would be warranted to take another dog of his own dog right now. This would be a perfect relationship for both Rover and Jack to venture into together. I strongly support hiring Jack for this position and I am happy to discuss this with anyone who looks for additional information.”

About: My family has always had animals. . . I love, have owned and cared for an assortment of animals throughout my life, the majority of which were personal, extended family and friends pets (cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, rabbits, fish, turtles, lizards and reptiles.) I spent my summers helping care for all the animals and livestock on my stepdad’s ranch (horses, cows, sheep, pigmy goats, geese, ducks, chickens, roaster, guinea hens and peacocks) I have assisted with delivering puppies, and kittens to helping feed and administer medication when required. I am currently in between contracts, so I have been a stay at home wife for the past 6 months. I have been staying busy with repainting our house and taking our dog Finley on hikes. I have lots of time to do drop ins and schedule walks for your furbaby. Finley is walked at least 3 to 4 times daily for 30 to 60 mins each time depending on the weather and what our schedule looks like. . .

About: If I ever win the lottery- I always say I’ll set up my own animal rescue of some kind (in addition to a nice fancy world trip). Since I was a kid, I’ve always been around animals. We had our own family dog growing up, he was a border collie and I loved working with training him. I expanded caring for animals to include sitting for my family members and neighbors around middle school, throughout high school and during college. I have since had 2 other family dogs, and now I have 2 cats at home. I have experiences working with puppies, kittens, special needs animals (tripods, medical conditions, needing medicine, hearing/visual impairments), and I understand each animal has unique needs and personalities just like us. This can look like using different approaches to work with and support animals. Professionally, I have extensive behavior training I use with my “human” work that transfers to helping adjust how I care for my animal friends. Anxious? That’s ok, I’ll go slow, let them approach me and minimize eye contact. Tell me how to best support your pet and I’m there! Currently I am working from home most days of the week. This allows me to have the flexibility to come in the morning, midday, and evening hours! On the weekends, flexibility is here! I thrive on excellent communication and will work to ensure my hours are up to date. Professionally I have years of customer engagement that required home visits and time in client’s homes. I understand, value, and respect every home setting. I will ask to know where pet items are, where any backups could be found, and things like cleaning supplies if an accident happens.
