About: Hi! I’m Katie, I’m 20 and a huge animal lover! I’ve grown up around pets my whole life and can’t imagine life without them. I have two dogs of my own, a playful young Labrador I’ve trained myself, and a sweet 13-year-old Westie, so I understand the needs of both energetic pups and senior dogs. Over the past several years, I’ve cared for many neighbors’ pets, including dogs of all sizes and breeds, as well as cats with all kinds of personalities. About: I have had all different types of animals since I was a kid. For the past several years I have spent time fostering cats and dogs as well as adopting my own dog, (who is blind), Willow! About: I’m very good at following owner instructions and very timely, ensuring promptness. I’ve looked over dogs from ages 2-15, so I am able to handle young pups and sweet senior dogs! While I’m active and able to keep up with high energy dogs, I have great experience with anxious dogs as well. I also have great experience with friendly, younger pups. I’ve taken care of my boyfriend-of-3 years’ dogs(4 of them!), as well as dog-sat throughout high school. I just graduated from William & Mary and starting a full-time job in August, so for the next three months, I have nearly full availability! Aside from a pre-planned trip in late July and plans during the July 4th weekend, I am free for dog walking, dog visits, and dog sitting! I am extremely aware of pet and owner needs. We do have stairs so your dog needs to be comfortable on stairs or small enough to carry. I will follow whatever your food/med/walk routines are.

My family has had four dogs in the past 11 years, and I’ve helped take care of, train, and walk all of them. Because I love animals so much, friends and family have trusted me to pet-sit since I was 11. About: I am an animal science major at Louisiana State University and minoring in Psychology (specifically behavior), I have worked on an internship working with K9's, I love going on walks, and I love dogs! About: If I ever win the lottery- I always say I’ll set up my own animal rescue of some kind (in addition to a nice fancy world trip). Since I was a kid, I’ve always been around animals. We had our own family dog growing up, he was a border collie and I loved working with training him. I expanded caring for animals to include sitting for my family members and neighbors around middle school, throughout high school and during college. I have since had 2 other family dogs, and now I have 2 cats at home. That’s ok, I’ll go slow, let them approach me and minimize eye contact. Tell me how to best support your pet and I’m there! Currently I am working from home most days of the week. This allows me to have the flexibility to come in the morning, midday, and evening hours! On the weekends, flexibility is here! I thrive on excellent communication and will work to ensure my hours are up to date. Professionally I have years of customer engagement that required home visits and time in client’s homes.
