About: I have had all different types of animals since I was a kid. For the past several years I have spent time fostering cats and dogs as well as adopting my own dog, (who is blind), Willow! I currently have a work from home job that allows for a flexible schedule and availability that can fit the needs of you and your animals! They will be given attention throughout the day and walked as needed. I am home all day to monitor the animal(s) and I have toys, crates of different sizes and gates if they are ever needed. Local to several nature trails and dog parks as well as many dog-friendly establishments that I frequent in warmer weather!

About: I’ve grown up around dogs of all sizes and have 6 years of experience making sure pets stay happy and healthy while their owners are away. I have a ton of energy for long walks, park trips, and playing fetch for high-energy dogs, but I also can be calm and relaxed for senior dogs. Because I study at home, my schedule is very flexible, which is perfect for house-sitting! I can spend the majority of my day at your home, ensuring your pet is never left alone for long periods. I’m available for overnight stays during the week and on weekends, and I make it a priority to stick to your pet's specific walking and feeding routine so their day feels totally normal while you're away. I take the responsibility of staying in your home very seriously. I am extremely diligent about home security—always double-checking that doors and windows are locked and that your pet is secure before I step out. I pride myself on leaving your home exactly as I found it (or cleaner!). I’m also a very frequent communicator; I love sending daily photo updates and quick 'check-ins' so you never have to wonder how things are going.

About: I grew up taking care of our family dogs as well as having my own dogs as an adult. Sadly, my pup passed away earlier this year and while I am not ready to get another dog of my own, I am excited to help care for yours and give you peace of mind while you are away. I have had little and big dogs in my life and am open to all sizes. Your dog does need to get along well with children as my kids love to play with dogs. They are also used to having a senior dog around as our dog aged so they also know when to give a dog space and be gentle. I work from home most days and your dog will have free rain of our house. I work from home most days so will be around to take your dog for walks as they need them. Your dog will have free rain of our house and we have a nice back outside area to walk or run around in. We also have a beautiful nature trail right behind our neighborhood. I love to spend time playing or just chilling and petting/loving on your dog. I love walks outside and if your dog likes to play with kids we have 5 of them that love dogs. They are also used to senior dogs so know how to be gentle. We do have stairs so your dog needs to be comfortable on stairs or small enough to carry. I will follow whatever your food/med/walk routines are.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for my own two dogs and one cat. From daily walks and feeding to playtime and companionship, I’m comfortable with the responsibilities of caring for pets and always prioritize their safety, happiness, and well-being. I have tons of time for you and your little friends. For my own dogs I walk them plenty throughout the day and love to go hiking or walk on trails with them. I am an active person so plenty of outdoor time with the pups.

About: My husband and I have been taking care of dogs / cats of all sizes and ages for multiple years now. We provided training and grooming while we were in NYC, we continued with rover while we lived in PA and we are so excited to now be in Reston. We both work from home so your pet will always get a ton of love and attention while staying with us. We know it’s always hard to leave them so we make sure to send you daily updates and photos. My husband and I currently WFH and are available during the day. I can walk / feed your pup and other animals during prime times of the day. We live in an apartment that’s perfect to make your pup feel very cozy while having a lot of open space for them to run around and play. I am very active so your pup will return exercised, played out and ready for cuddles

About: I have a lifetime of experience with animals starting from my first day as an infant. I grew up with multiple cats in the home with learned, gentle-respect and patience that cats require. I also grew up with a shetland sheepdog, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish. As an adult I have significant experience with caring for dogs and cats alike both in my home and in other homes. My own animals, two dogs, a cat, and a 70 gallon fish tank, remind me daily of the joys and importance of animals. I have an anxious 74 pound hound and a nervous 30 pound beagle of my own, so I understand the needs of special breeds and animals coming from previously difficult situations. I have the patience needed to address nervous dogs and have experience with clicker training and am educated in techniques for dog training. I do not breed discriminate. I have fostered kittens and adult cats and have experience with syringe feeding and medicine administration. I also have my own rascally kitten, Hazel, who keeps me entertained. In my experience with fish and aquariums I can clean, feed, and help with tank design or water cycling conditions. Your pets will be the utmost priority and I can adjust my schedule to meet your needs. I can assure timely feedings, walks, and potty breaks so your pet is comfortable and you are assured! I will treat them as my own. Our daily routine is FULL of pet fun and enjoyment. First thing in the morning is a walk and potty breaks, followed by feeding, the rest of the day would follow similarly with 4/5 mini walks and dinner at ideal time. Potty before bed time and no pet will be left alone for more than 3 hours and if preferred never at all.

I currently have my own 7yo Boston Terrier/ French Bulldog named Milo! I recently started my doctorate in Clinical Psychology and am looking for ways to make some money in my free time. I am currently free Tuesday afternoons after 2pm and have full time availability on Thursdays and Fridays. I am also open to weekends on a case by case basis. I am comfortable and respectful working in others’ homes, and will follow all care instructions to meet a pet’s specific needs. I’m a college student at JMU and have taken care of different animals all my life, and often get asked by family and friends to pet sit-caring from animals as small as hamsters to larger dogs like german shepherds. I am very used to walking large dogs, as I have grown up with german shepherds all my life, and I am very used to taking care of animals with disabilities or special dietary needs. For example, my childhood dog had a pancreatic disorder where I fed her a special diet and am accustomed to carefully following directions and making sure everyone is safe and healthy. I absolutely love cats as well, I have a cat named Moss who is very very spoiled and loved.
