About: My first pets were 2 rats. I took care of them exclusively, bathed them, fed and cleaned up after them. The family cat Simba was mainly my responsibility with occasional help from family, and I would take care of our family dog Bentley when I was home for summers from college. I've helped care for several other animals when babysitting children, and occasionally dog sat overnight for other families over a 3 day weekend period. I've also loved my time volunteering at the local dog shelter where I walk, clean up after, and play with all the dogs up for adoption until they find their forever families. I have tended to puppies up to senior dogs that require medication and special care. I currently am not working and have plenty of time to take care of pets and have a very flexible schedule. We do have stairs so your dog needs to be comfortable on stairs or small enough to carry. I will follow whatever your food/med/walk routines are.
