I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 8 years old but I’ve been doing it more seriously for the past 5 years. I have experience with small, medium and large sized dogs as well as multi-dog homes. I have done overnight care as well as daily check-in type dog sitting.

A wonderful pet/home sitter, Amirah provides excellent, thorough care. Her love for animals is apparent in all she does: meeting our dogs and cat prior to the sit, asking questions to clarify responsibilities and expectations, consistent communication and updates, even photos of our fur babies. She sat for our two dogs and cat for two weeks in our home. We would not hesitate to book her again.

Amirah has been amazing with my sweet lab mix, Luna. Luna is a very anxious and sensitive girl, but that was not a problem for Amirah. Amirah respected Luna preferring her personal space and by the time I came home Luna was bringing Amirah toys and inviting playtime and belly rubs. Usually, Luna only lets me give belly rubs. Luna is also very reactive towards other dogs on the leash. That was not an issue for Amirah. Amirah handled it with grace and followed our instructions to ensure walks were calm and uneventful. I would trust Amirah to watch my dog (or pets) anytime.

Schedule
I am currently working a remote part-time job so I have a fair level of availability and flexibility. I can provide morning, midday, and evening walks/check-ins during the week. Overnight stays available Thursday-Sunday. I’m happy to work with your routine to keep your pup’s schedule consistent!
