About: I have had all different types of animals since I was a kid. For the past several years I have spent time fostering cats and dogs as well as adopting my own dog, (who is blind), Willow! I currently have a work from home job that allows for a flexible schedule and availability that can fit the needs of you and your animals! They will be given attention throughout the day and walked as needed. I am home all day to monitor the animal(s) and I have toys, crates of different sizes and gates if they are ever needed. Local to several nature trails and dog parks as well as many dog-friendly establishments that I frequent in warmer weather!

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life. Growing up, our home was always filled with pets, and they were truly part of the family. Our cat lived to be 17—he loved being held like a baby, joined us at the dinner table, and never turned down cuddles. Later, I had a Golden Retriever/Husky mix named Bella, who was by my side for 10 wonderful years. She welcomed both of my daughters home from the hospital, and she’s still a big part of our family’s memories. Today, we have Penny, our lovable Chihuahua/Terrier mix, whom we adopted when she was 9 months old. She keeps us laughing every day and reminds us how much joy a pet brings to a home. As a mom, one of the greatest lessons I can teach my daughters is how to love and care for animals with kindness and compassion. Pets aren’t “just animals” to us—they’re family. I work from home full-time, which gives me the flexibility to provide dependable drop-in visits, walks, and lots of attention throughout the day. I’m patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. The walk is the highlight of my dogs day, so I make sure she gets her sniffs in, and enjoys every second. It's a bonus for me for the exercise! I just enjoy watching her be happy.

About: I treat every pet like they're part of my own family. I have experience caring for pets of all ages from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets who need a little extra patience and TLC. I have a ton of energy for long walks, park trips, and playing fetch for high-energy dogs, but I also can be calm and relaxed for senior dogs. Because I study at home, my schedule is very flexible, which is perfect for house-sitting! I can spend the majority of my day at your home, ensuring your pet is never left alone for long periods. I’m available for overnight stays during the week and on weekends, and I make it a priority to stick to your pet's specific walking and feeding routine so their day feels totally normal while you're away. I take the responsibility of staying in your home very seriously. I am extremely diligent about home security—always double-checking that doors and windows are locked and that your pet is secure before I step out. I pride myself on leaving your home exactly as I found it (or cleaner!). I’m also a very frequent communicator; I love sending daily photo updates and quick 'check-ins' so you never have to wonder how things are going.

About: I’m very good at following owner instructions and very timely, ensuring promptness. I’ve looked over dogs from ages 2-15, so I am able to handle young pups and sweet senior dogs! While I’m active and able to keep up with high energy dogs, I have great experience with anxious dogs as well. I also have great experience with friendly, younger pups. I’ve taken care of my boyfriend-of-3 years’ dogs(4 of them!), as well as dog-sat throughout high school. I just graduated from William & Mary and starting a full-time job in August, so for the next three months, I have nearly full availability! Aside from a pre-planned trip in late July and plans during the July 4th weekend, I am free for dog walking, dog visits, and dog sitting! I am extremely aware of pet and owner needs. I follow owner instructions diligently, and I provided my undivided attention to the pets I care for.

About: I grew up taking care of our family dogs as well as having my own dogs as an adult. Sadly, my pup passed away earlier this year and while I am not ready to get another dog of my own, I am excited to help care for yours and give you peace of mind while you are away. I have had little and big dogs in my life and am open to all sizes. Your dog does need to get along well with children as my kids love to play with dogs. They are also used to having a senior dog around as our dog aged so they also know when to give a dog space and be gentle. I work from home most days and your dog will have free rain of our house. We also have a beautiful nature trail right behind our neighborhood. I love to spend time playing or just chilling and petting/loving on your dog. I love walks outside and if your dog likes to play with kids we have 5 of them that love dogs. They are also used to senior dogs so know how to be gentle. We do have stairs so your dog needs to be comfortable on stairs or small enough to carry. I will follow whatever your food/med/walk routines are.

I’m a college student at JMU and have taken care of different animals all my life, and often get asked by family and friends to pet sit-caring from animals as small as hamsters to larger dogs like german shepherds. I am very used to walking large dogs, as I have grown up with german shepherds all my life, and I am very used to taking care of animals with disabilities or special dietary needs. For example, my childhood dog had a pancreatic disorder where I fed her a special diet and am accustomed to carefully following directions and making sure everyone is safe and healthy.
