Bruno has a daily skin care routine and requires medications, and Richard handled everything perfectly. By the time we picked Bruno up, his skin honestly looked better than when we dropped him off. Richard is clearly experienced and confident administering all types of medications, including injections, which gave me a huge sense of relief and comfort. It’s not easy to find someone you fully trust with a dog that has medical needs, but I felt completely comfortable leaving Bruno in his care. About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 23. I love to pet and feed them. I treat dogs as part of the family. I am home full time and have plenty of time to care for dogs that need care. I also have two dogs of my own. We start our day at 6:30AM. I prepare and feed the dogs at 7AM, 12:00PM, and again at 5:00PM (If they are hungry). I let the dogs run in the yard for 30 minutes, after each feeding, i when the weather permits. We walk in the mornings, rhen again in the evenings. Dental treats and regular treats are given daily.

About: I have always had pets. Growing up we had a dog, and cat. Our cat who lived to be 17, was more like a dog-cat. He always had to be held like a baby, sat at the dinner table with us, and needed cuddles. Since then I had a golden retriever/husky mix named Bella who lived to be 10. She was there for both of my daughters coming into this world, and whom they still talk about to this day (with their Bella pillows, and Bella blankets I made them). Now, we have Penny, an almost 4 year old Chihuahua/Terrier mix who is our love! We adopted her when she was 9 months old. She keeps us entertained, and loved! There will never not be a time in my life where I won't have a pet. It's so important for my kids to grow up learning how to love and take care of an animal too. About: I grew up taking care of our family dogs as well as having my own dogs as an adult. Sadly, my pup passed away earlier this year and while I am not ready to get another dog of my own, I am excited to help care for yours and give you peace of mind while you are away. I have had little and big dogs in my life and am open to all sizes. Your dog does need to get along well with children as my kids love to play with dogs. They are also used to having a senior dog around as our dog aged so they also know when to give a dog space and be gentle. I work from home most days and your dog will have free rain of our house. We also have a beautiful nature trail right behind our neighborhood. I love to spend time playing or just chilling and petting/loving on your dog. We do have stairs so your dog needs to be comfortable on stairs or small enough to carry. I will follow whatever your food/med/walk routines are.

About: I have been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up my family has always had a least 2 pets, even having 15 at one point. My love for animals has run deep in me since I was a child, which is why I am currently a pre veterinary student at the College of William and Mary. Second I try to make your pet as comfortable with me as possible. Sometimes new people can be scary, so I would allow your pet to make the first move and establish their level of comfort. I find this creates a level of trust and care between me and your pet. Third I follow any specific instructions given by you, the owner. The families always know their pets best, so following their directions helps ensure your pets safety and comfort.
About: I have had all different types of animals since I was a kid. For the past several years I have spent time fostering cats and dogs as well as adopting my own dog, (who is blind), Willow! I currently have a work from home job that allows for a flexible schedule and availability that can fit the needs of you and your animals! They will be given attention throughout the day and walked as needed. I am home all day to monitor the animal(s) and I have toys, crates of different sizes and gates if they are ever needed. Mocha usually takes some time to warm up to tall men and small kids, so we were all surprised when she instantly connected with Sowmiya’s husband and young son. My kids and I just kind of stood there watching in disbelief—it was really sweet. Sowmiya sent daily photos and updates without us even asking and was very flexible with pickup and drop-off times. When we came to get Mocha, it was clear her whole family had gotten attached—they all looked genuinely sad to see her go. There home is definitely set up to cater your fur baby with a fence in yard, clean home and designated hangout area. Onyx is an anxious boy and of course I was anxious leaving him. Another bonus for me was that they are only a 10 min drive from my home which is a nice relief, especially when last minute personal and work emergencies occur.
