About: Hi! My name is Mikayla and I’m a recent college graduate looking to make some money before I start my full time job! I’ve taken care of my family dogs, neighbors pets, family friends dogs, fostered many dogs while in college and it’s easily one of my favorite things to do! I love meeting new dogs of all kinds and giving them love and belly rubs. I have experience taking care of dogs aged 2 - senior dogs around the age 15. I also am very good at taking care of blind, deaf, or disabled dogs as well. I recently graduated college so I have a lot of free time until I start my full time job in July! About: I’ve grown up around dogs of all sizes and have 6 years of experience making sure pets stay happy and healthy while their owners are away. I have a ton of energy for long walks, park trips, and playing fetch for high-energy dogs, but I also can be calm and relaxed for senior dogs. Because I study at home, my schedule is very flexible, which is perfect for house-sitting! I can spend the majority of my day at your home, ensuring your pet is never left alone for long periods. I’m available for overnight stays during the week and on weekends, and I make it a priority to stick to your pet's specific walking and feeding routine so their day feels totally normal while you're away. I take the responsibility of staying in your home very seriously. I am extremely diligent about home security—always double-checking that doors and windows are locked and that your pet is secure before I step out. I pride myself on leaving your home exactly as I found it (or cleaner!). I’m also a very frequent communicator; I love sending daily photo updates and quick 'check-ins' so you never have to wonder how things are going.

“If you only want the best for your pet, Ami is it. Everything from start to finish with her has been nothing short of outstanding. She is reliable, compassionate, and her energy is so calming. My dog Luna had just been diagnosed with kidney disease, and I was overwhelmed. Ami came over to administer subQ fluids, which have been a struggle for me to do on my own because it was so stressful for my dog. Ami taught me things the vet never mentioned, so that the experience was less stressful for Luna, such as warming the bag of fluids, the position to hold my dog in and how to distract her with treats. She even recommended needles that are thinner, and I was amazed my dog didn’t even react when she poked her! She is also working with me on a specialty diet specifically for CKD which is already helping with her nausea and appetite. I am so relieved to have found Ami - she is an invaluable resource, and true animal whisperer. And our kitties approve too, they absolutely love her! Thanks again Ami!!!”

About: I have had a love for pets since I was a child. I have a deep empathy for them and I enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality, each has their own quirks and I love that. Makes each pet unique. I’m currently working full time Tuesday’s through Thursday’s (6am - 5pm.) I am more open to availability of late drop-in visits & walks in the evenings. I have two dogs at my home so I’m no stranger to managing multiple dogs at once. I can easily crate your dog if needed and offer to keep up with their training if that’s something you may be interested in.
